  • This is a great and exciting march that I don’t believe gets played very often. This march was originally published in 1895, and has only seen rare performances in its more than 120 years of existence.
“In addition to its suitability for passes-in-review and street parades, Bombasto proved to be extremely popular as entry and exit music during the vaudeville and silent-film era. Like many of Farrar’s other marches, it was dedicated to a military unit, in this instance the Seventh Ward Military Band of Omaha, Nebraska. His Fort Omaha March constituted another salute to that important military and farming center in eastern Nebraska. Although acquaintances remember seeing the composer-conductor in a “military” uniform in Lima, Ohio, the late William Baker learned that Farrar never served in the U.S. armed forces, including the National Guard.”

i tried figuring out circular breathing and couldnt do it is it something that comes naturally or just takes alot of practice?

I’m not circular breathing here if that’s what you’re wondering. However, to answer your question, yes that does take a lot of practice. Some people get the hang of it faster than others do, everyone is different. A former teacher of mine taught using the water cup and blowing bubbles through a straw method. I’m sure there’s a few tutorials on RUclips that can help you get started!
