What a jo? It is finally looking like a clean pond bottom. These videos seem so short because it is a treat watching them. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of everything you do.
An amazing project Chris. Too bad that the winter weather wasn’t sufficiently cold to freeze the pond and allowing the use of bulldozers to push frozen muck. Looking back during your summary we can see your progress but during the video it seems that every bucket full you remove is promptly replaced. Wishing you and your team a great week and gentle spring weather. Cheers
Can’t wait to see the finished product on this one! Thinking if it was my property I would have to have Chris back out next spring to shape up the dried up mud flats and then put in a monumental garden or orchard or maybe both!
I geuss it is gonna be pasture for a few years. no way it can be worked this season. takes long for the mud to turn into soil. it needs birds to poop on it. and such big wad of mud has no reason for birds to get food out of it. next year it will be riddled with worms and other little bugs.
It would be very interesting to see the liquified mud sprayed over a marginal field and then see what kind of crop it would produce. I think it would be amazing.
Chris my daughters and myself love watching your videos. She comes home from school and ask if any new videos are on. We are looking at property for house and pond to be built. You are great at what you do. Thank you fot the videos
Amount of mud transfer you two have accomplished is amazing. Has this been your largest mud job??. The transfer pit is so soupy you could almost use a cement pump and just pump the goo to the field
They look like long laborious days chris. But at least each day you’ve got a little more clear ground to look at. Spare a thought for Jon spending every day digging out a pit that never empties. Nearly there now though, looking good 👍
At 14 when you were hanging out with your Grand Daddy you probably never dream you would gain fame and fortune being the most renowned name in pond maintenance and most professional Excavator Operator in the world and it was all on RUclips!
Great to watch it coming to fruition Chris. Listening to you explaining what, why & how your going to accomplish it makes it all the more enjoyable. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍
Well that’s a muddy mess you make it look easy but I know it’s all about how you go about it and you got the vision on how it should be to get it done and always ends up pretty sharp looking i would say you and your machine were meant to make a mess look like a piece of art cause it always looks good when you are done 😎🇺🇸
This has been a real education.😃 Finally you have won something that might behave more reasonably than not. 🤔Tidy job Chris.😉 Thank you for taking us along.🙂 Be well.😊
deff getting it cleaned up.... its come along way since the first video ... its funny it always looks like your not making any progress until you clean it up..... looking good man
You’ve taken out a lot of mud from the pond. Every bucket of mud you take out equals one more bucket of water the pond will hold. That mud will eventually be some great topsoil. I don’t know about anyone else but I could watch you at work all day long.
Chris, have you ever thought of making yourself a mud rake blade? Instead of using the mats make a lightweight curved blade with stiffeners so it doesn't bend. It would probably work really well when grading ponds , good job brother.
I thought the same... There's so many attachments a person could think of. Those mats should me made of recycled plastics instead - they'd likely bend instead of snapping apart the way wood does? 🤔
@@McBuggs. I kind of agree, when they chip off, you are probably creating some type of environmental hazard. Anything plastic typically holds that shape with weight and left in the sun. Now you need UV friendly plastic.
I don’t know what Chris or John pay for Mats but I can normally buy 20’x4’x1’ hemlock mats for around 1200-1500 dollars after they have been used for couple years they are considered scrap…so to use a couple of old mats for scrapping it is cheap and always nice to have an extra mat with you.
Good operator, could have been disaster if he had allowed that machine to slide into the pit. "Bad Day" would probably not been his choice of words. Good job to you both working in tough conditions with mud. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Going to need a fire hose to clean the equipment when you're done. First time I've seen you get the counter weight dirty so you must be having fun. Looks good even if it is 1 bite at a time.
Could you order mats made out of oak, hickory, or locust? I’d think the right wood wood be worth it for durability of the mats. Evening it was a few extra dollars.
I have a little Mitsubishi BD2 dozer with swamp tracks on it that would be perfect for pushing that slop out as you guys work. It’s perfect for having around the farm but it’s a little too small for anything else.
Just a thought on your mats we use mats like that in the oil fields. To make them more durable and last longer we wrap all 8 sides with 3”x3”x .25” angle iron with 1/4x3” flat strap welded from the top and bottom. Just a thought to make your mats more durable and last longer. But then again it the metal on them may make them a bit slippery on the tracks. Just a thought. By the way love your videos. Awesome work.
Hi from uk chris and and all👋👍 hope alls well👍 jobs really getting there now and for every 20 yrds you load out there has to be a yard and half bonded to the machines😂👌 but yup not ling now till look back at this one! Literally 😂 this ine far from farm for a update when filling or full? Love the updates you get wgen in reason👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon 👍👋
I'm working on a set of mats made out of something that you're going to laugh at, but if it works, I'll be laughing all the weight of the bank hopefully
Makes me think of an old saying, Even a mosquito can eat an elephant one bite at a time.
Great job as always Chris! Jim.
No offense but that doesn't make sense. I know what you meant though.
What a jo? It is finally looking like a clean pond bottom. These videos seem so short because it is a treat watching them. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of everything you do.
Slow and steady!!! Glad the haul road is hard!!! KEEPA Go!!
30 minutes passes quickly and easily
Hi John Beck they do go by fast so do you what l do I watch them twice and then read the comments, it's true I do it every video try it
Darn.. now I'm invested in watching this mud scooping..can't wait to see a finished product.
Chris, Amazing progress over the two days. Your work and speed is a testament to your experience and skills. Great to see.
Cheers
Seems like in NC we're either in a mud bath or a dust bowl, There is no in between! 🤣 And that looks like a MAJOR victory.
Can’t wait to see the finished product on this one! Thinking if it was my property I would have to have Chris back out next spring to shape up the dried up mud flats and then put in a monumental garden or orchard or maybe both!

What a colossal effort in the never ending sea of mud.
Wow lotta mud got moved today. And the shadows were long when you got done! Lookin goood!
That pond silt will be great to grow in when it’s dry
You can definitely see the difference in the pond now brother! 👌🏻🤙🏻
It would be very interesting to see the liquified mud sprayed over a marginal field and then see what kind of crop it would produce. I think it would be amazing.
That's years and years of leaves decaying in that pond to create that rich dirt!
Yep you're getting there. Looking good. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Making really good progress now, almost on the home stretch. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
Chris my daughters and myself love watching your videos. She comes home from school and ask if any new videos are on. We are looking at property for house and pond to be built. You are great at what you do. Thank you fot the videos
The before and after picture on this pond are going to be awesome!
This is the equivalent of emptying a bathtub with a tablespoon. Lol great work 💪🏼
... using a coffee cup to haul it off!
Looking great Chris lot of mud
What a project!!! Great planning
It's so nice to see an end to that slimy muddy mess! There really is a bottom!
Amount of mud transfer you two have accomplished is amazing. Has this been your largest mud job??. The transfer pit is so soupy you could almost use a cement pump and just pump the goo to the field
Dawns here ☀️
Wow that’s a lot of mud. Good effort 👍
After 3 days of watching soupy muddy mud being moved I’ve come to the collusion that would be a awesome mud pit for a 4X4 mud truck contest
Johnny Cash sang, One piece at a time. I guess Chris is saying, one scoop at a time. The dump pile was impressive. Lots of mud!
Looking good Chris the end is in sight👍👍👍👍
Loved the video. Slow but sure and patience! Only you can make a mud pit into a beautiful pond. God's blessings and stay safe.
You make it look easy Chris. Good job. 🙂👍
That's a lotta loads in that 1/2 acre (I'm guessiong size) of glup! Perseverance pays!
You definitely have moved a lot of mud! My husband and I really enjoy watching you. God bless and stay safe.
So much mud! Definitely a slow and steady marathon. The finish line looks so close. 👍🏻
Such nice work, I wish all operators cared so much about the final product. Good job, turning chicken poop, to chicken salad.
They look like long laborious days chris. But at least each day you’ve got a little more clear ground to look at. Spare a thought for Jon spending every day digging out a pit that never empties. Nearly there now though, looking good 👍
That gray mud is just amazing next to that red clay
All that mud will be some killer topsoil when it finally dries out.
Incredible job sir. Unbelievable amount of mud. Outstanding patience you are showing. 8.5 hours straight demands a lot of patience. Fine work.
Oh my goodness Chris there must be a huge cow to have dropped that cowpat, 😆.
Fascinating work dealing with the different types of mud! Looking forward to the finished product 👍👍
At 14 when you were hanging out with your Grand Daddy you probably never dream you would gain fame and fortune being the most renowned name in pond maintenance and most professional Excavator Operator in the world and it was all on RUclips!
Transfer mud here and clay on 10 acre pond - both are progressing well, nice one - thanks for sharing
You said it would make for a bad day if John slid off the mats. But it would make for a hell of a video for us!! Ha Ha
Once again, thanks for the content, I really enjoy it. I wait every day for a video from letsdig18
That looks like one giant cow pie.
🤣
And you should see the size of the cow! Steaks for Texas. Every one!
A herd of Apatosaurs with the runs went through LOL
Soups ON!
**Desert Special**: Homemade Mud Pies
Great to watch it coming to fruition Chris. Listening to you explaining what, why & how your going to accomplish it makes it all the more enjoyable. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍
I like to see all of that you guys done on that pond. This summer when it's done
looking good
Well that’s a muddy mess you make it look easy but I know it’s all about how you go about it and you got the vision on how it should be to get it done and always ends up pretty sharp looking i would say you and your machine were meant to make a mess look like a piece of art cause it always looks good when you are done 😎🇺🇸
Been a good project this one!! Enjoyed the different views and to watch how you approach the need to move the mud. Can’t wait to see the finish.
MIND BLOWING!! How in the world you're able to do this is truly incredible! I don't even know what to say. Mind blowing.
What a mess, but it is slowly disappearing. :) Thank you and have a good day.
Chris looking great it just seems it took awhile, but I can see the end. Be safe and prayers for your family and employees
Awesome job
I feel like DP would have made some crazy ridiculous attachment like the swamp matt you were using, like an old bulldozer blade.
This has been a real education.😃 Finally you have won something that might behave more reasonably than not. 🤔Tidy job Chris.😉 Thank you for taking us along.🙂 Be well.😊
deff getting it cleaned up.... its come along way since the first video ... its funny it always looks like your not making any progress until you clean it up..... looking good man
You are very good at what you do I really enjoyed this video Chris and watching you operate the equipment I have learned from watching your videos 🇺🇲
Now that is what ya call draining the swamp 🤣🤣That is one huge pile of goo. Probably set up and dry into one solid and hard giant brick !👍🤣✌✅
Fantastic job love watching your progress with the job best wishes from Tasmania Australia
Goopy, Goopy Mud. Still can't believe how much mud you have transferred out.
Amazing job Chris
Looking way better then when you started.
You’ve taken out a lot of mud from the pond. Every bucket of mud you take out equals one more bucket of water the pond will hold. That mud will eventually be some great topsoil. I don’t know about anyone else but I could watch you at work all day long.
Man your geting it done one bucket at the time .like it .
Great video, loved watching.
I believe ‘liquefaction’ is the word you’re looking for.
Looking Good Young man. Perseverance pays off. God Bless!
Chris a whole lotta mud! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Chris, have you ever thought of making yourself a mud rake blade? Instead of using the mats make a lightweight curved blade with stiffeners so it doesn't bend. It would probably work really well when grading ponds , good job brother.
I bet if all the viewers chipped in we could buy him a big piece of rubber. He could make a big squeegee! 😀😃
Your could probably rig up a snow pusher to have the same attachment as a bucket. The sides would help contain the mud
I thought the same... There's so many attachments a person could think of. Those mats should me made of recycled plastics instead - they'd likely bend instead of snapping apart the way wood does? 🤔

I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
I'll explain to some people who don't understand you can only butter toast so much before its a soggy mess
boy the Dozer moves the lava pile with ease ..
That pond silt is highly organic....best to have a 50 gallon drum of Roundup. Lol
At least the soup doesn’t stick in the bucket 😏
Nice job!!
I bet some people wouldn’t Believe it if you told them you make a living moving Dirt and Mud. 😬👍
Good operator, could have been disaster if he had allowed that machine to slide into the pit. "Bad Day" would probably not been his choice of words. Good job to you both working in tough conditions with mud.
Thanks for sharing my friend.
Thank God this project is wrapping up lol
Is pond will be a sight to see when you are done and water has filled it.
mud mud and more mud, nice progress
Great job Chris really enjoy watching

Could you order mats made out of oak, hickory, or locust? I’d think the right wood wood be worth it for durability of the mats. Evening it was a few extra dollars.
What will happen to the huge mud field? Will that dry out over time or will it just forever stay soupy with the rain?
I have a little Mitsubishi BD2 dozer with swamp tracks on it that would be perfect for pushing that slop out as you guys work. It’s perfect for having around the farm but it’s a little too small for anything else.
Your getting closer my friend looking good 😎 👍👍
Great job on the pond
Looking really great Chris, your an artist 🤙
Just a thought on your mats we use mats like that in the oil fields. Outstanding work
Great video 👍👍
Now that’s a lot of mud my friend.
good pond video

I am definitely interested in seeing the before and after video Chris,
The mud pile looks like one giant cow flop....LOL
They might be able to grow potatoes until that soil packs down. Will be a fertile crop no matter what they grow.
I wonder if they make a hard plastic mat? Wouldn’t think it would be any more slippery than wood.
I'm working on a set of mats made out of something that you're going to laugh at, but if it works, I'll be laughing all the weight of the bank hopefully
Sure looks great from when you started. You have more patience than I have.
