The Brooke was gorgeous!!! So was the butter!! Great job.
Thank you! They all were for sure.
Love small mountain stream fishin! That brookie was pure jewelry!
Me too! It was such a beautiful fish.
Beautiful fish, great scenery, thanks for sharing.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.

Those were some beauties! Good stuff, man.
Thank you for watching! They definitely were beauties.
Great fishing. So cool that you catch them in such fast water
Thank you for watching!
Great video! Beautiful stream and the fish were spectacular.I got distracted mid video and watched the baetis tying tutorial.Keep the videos coming Chuck!
haha Did you tie any up?
Thanks for watching!
Great video and a spectacular brookie!!
Thank you! It was indeed.
Great video, excellent fishing! I like how the stream unfolds. Alot of good opportunities there!
Thank you! Yeah it was a great creek for sure.
The EXACT sized creek I like to fish!!!! Pocket water for dayssss!!! Nice vid bro
haha Yeah creeks like this are pretty fun! Thanks man!
Great job on this video. Love the sharing of how you work the water !
Thank you! Seems everyone likes hearing some explanation of how I approach things on the water.
hi i love you videos
Thank you!
Great video man! Really love creeks like this. Seclusion, gorgeous fish, nice pocket water.... Just can't beat it. Nice of Bill to share the stream. Enjoyed the break down of how you approached the holes as well. Keep it up Chuck!
Thanks Mike! Definitely one of my favorite little mountain streams now for sure. So much pocket water.
enjoyed this mate!
Glad to hear!
Great video chuck! When are you gonna fish the lead lotus in a video!?
haha I haven't reached for them yet while out fishing. I'm sure one day they'll catch my eye on the right day. Thanks for watching Joe!
Love small streams like these, reminds me of when I fished as a kid with my big bro, and I like how you share without giving up the spots like some of the other local guys; obviously it’s about the experience & some pointers in your approach. I found that on my home waters, spots that are advertised by fellow RUclipsrs like yourself, have people bunching up now which is unfortunate because things are crowded enough, even more so with the pandemic. Btw watched it on the fly (pun intended) so may have missed it but what was the new pattern you were trying in the beginning? Tight lines & keep ‘em coming.
Yeah I just don't think mentioning stream names (especially small streams) helps any cause. I don't believe I was trying a new pattern. I mentioned the simple baetis that I was using at the beginning and the pheasant tail.
That is spectacular - MOST EXCELLENT!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, well explained how you work your way up through the creek. Also that creek being soo clear made your release videos look really good.
Thank you! I'm glad everyone is enjoying me explaining a bit more of what I'm doing. I thought the same thing about the release on this creek. haha
Great catches as alway you still using the 20lb amnesia or back on the 15lb .
Thank you! I'm actually testing out the 10lb again since a lot of people were asking why I use 20#. I'm liking the 10#, but again I'm also realizing why I liked the 20# so much. There are pros and cons to both.
@@Brownsylvania thin for the win but cuts to the bone on the strike
I have a couple different baetis patterns I’m going to try that one also.
Awesome! Let me know how it works out.
How do you like your shadow X? I plan on getting that model for general contact nymphing on small streams like this one, but also some larger rivers.
I love it! Definitely recommend it.
I notice your pointer finger is above the half wells grip, is this because of balance or a personal preference? I always find my self gripping above the cork on my shadow II because of the balance.
I think it's more to help drive the flies down on casts and for accuracy. Where ever the finger is point the flies tend to go.
What net is that? I’ve been looking for a good rubber net. Mine is rubber but it has really tiny holes and it’s really thin rubber so some of it ripped already
I have it linked in my video descriptions. It's an Aventik carbon fiber net. I had the FishPond Nomad net, but lost it one day and this was a half prices alternative. It's very strong, the only thing that sucks is the paint job. It chips easily, but the rubber and net frame are built well.
Have you noticed much difference switching to the thinner mono? Is it harder to cast?
I like it. I still like the 20# for its pros as well. I'd say it's only harder to cast beyond 20 feet. The 20# is still better for wind and distance nymphing.
@@Brownsylvania thanks for the insight. I just spooled up 20lb red amnesia to give it a try
Awesome man! Let me know how it goes. 👍
