    Hi Chuck! So nice fishing in May, usually. My past week of fishing, five outta seven days were cold, windy and rainy, Augh! But the fish were still biting. Love those conditions you were fishing in, great for nymphing. Always putting on the clinic, nice work. Thanks for sharing!

    You make it look so easy all the time!! You don’t use a sitghter at all? Just the tippet to the amnisa? I wish I could find water with flow like that... I was in ur neck of the woods the other day..

    • @Brownsylvania
      @Brownsylvania  3 года назад

      Well thank you! It's not always easy and remember I have edited out all the parts with nothing caught. haha
      Yeah the Amnesia acts as the sighter since it's bright red. I don't use green or anything as I can see red better all the time.

    The local PA celeb! Good to see a new video man. Great intro as always. You def go in runs, work a bunch, take off a bunch. I can live with that. Keep up the great work, and take a damn lunch or snack to the stream. I promise you I won't be leaving to go eat when we fish together :)

      haha Appreciate the compliments Mike!
      I actually enjoy taking a break to get a lunch if I'm fishing all day, but if the fishing is on fire that much then I just wouldn't leave to get lunch. 🤣

    Great video! Hey just wondering what Sofer nymph imitation you were using?

    • @Brownsylvania

      Thank you! It's a pheasant tail tied with yellow dyed pheasant tail and a rusty orange collar and gold bead. I probably will do a tying video on it at some point.

    Did I see you are using the fish pond nomad mid length net? How do you carry yours? How do you rig up your tether?

    • @Brownsylvania
      @Brownsylvania  3 года назад

      Yup! I have the FishPond wading belt also that has the built in net holster in the back. I put it in there and then I have a cable leash attached as well to make sure if it falls out I don't lose it.

    Great video. Nice fish. In one stretch of water there was a wall, here comes a nosey Dave question, who built that wall? It was absolutely amazing.

      To be honest, I have not a clue.

    How do you identify the stocked fish? Here in California DFW clips the adipose fin, but your fish appear to have all their fins intact.

    • @Brownsylvania
      @Brownsylvania  3 года назад

      Here in PA if you catch a rainbow trout in 98% of the waters it's most likely a stocked or hold over fish. As for browns and brookies you can usually tell by the fins and spots.

    Your videos are some of my favorite to watch! So simple. Can I ask what is the difference between when you are keeping your rod tip high vs when you put it low to the water at around 7:47 in the video?

    • @Brownsylvania
      @Brownsylvania  3 года назад

      Thank you for watching them. Glad you enjoy them. I use jig hooks for all my nymphs so I mostly tend to keep the rod tip high, but I do side pressure sometimes to try and guide/steer the fish or to just get a better fighting angle.
