Love your videos. What a quality ❤️ After each and every cut I can recognize how much work you have to put to reach such amazing final result. Keep on going 🤘
Thanks! I like it. It had mixed reviews when I bought it, but after using it myself I have no complaints. Love it! I got the hook and bead jars from Michael's. They are just bead containers that they sell there.
I wish too. It's a lot of work to film, edit and constantly fish while working a 9-5 and living hours away from all the spots I like to fish. Maybe some day I will start back up again.
Hi there! An interesting perdigón and will doubtless catch a lot of trout! The jig hook and a wing sack? The sole purpose of a jig hook is to invert the fly and hopefully, minimise the hook catching on the river bed. Likewise on a straight hook, the bead is tied high in an attempt to invert the perdigón. I am not an entomologist, but live nymphs do not normally swim inverted so that their wing sack is underneath them? It may be that the perdigón will be equally successful without the blob of nail varnish? In the land of the perdigón (Spain) most of the recognised anglers will not add a wing sack - some may add a black thread collar to contrast the body. Give it a go? These comments are not meant to be smug or disrespectful and in no way diminish your fly tying capabilities, they are meant to be helpful and beneficial to you and your viewers. Tight lines.
I plan to do a sulphur nymph video at some point, but unfortunately it won't be during sulphurs this year. Sulphurs have been popping here in PA for a while now.

so simple, but so good.

Another variation- Try black peacock or regular peacock ice dub on the collar to substitute the nail polish 🔥🔥 love copper as well
Thank you for watching! That sounds like a killer as well.
Thanks Chuck! I am a big perdigon fan. That’s a coloration I’ll have to check out.

I am going use pheasant tail for tail , don't have any dark Coq de Leon (CDL)
That'll work just fine. I use pheasant tail fibers all the time to make tails. Thanks for watching!

Have you used copper wire instead of copper crystal flash?
