- Perdigons are designed by competitors. Its functional fly that is 100% functional. No extra details. In my opinion this one is second best perdigon i tried.
In this video i will mention how i fix jig off bead and why i think jig off beads are superior to other beads....
Hope you will enjoy it

Excellent fly..
Thank you 😀😀🙏
Another excellent video Vladimir. I like the way you fixed the bead to the hook. It's a good alternative to using Super Glue. The care you take tying your flies make the videos a pleasure to watch. Thanks for posting.
Thank you. Suoer glue is always good to add. 😀😀
Very nice Vladimir
Thank you so much for watching. 😀
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
Hello Vladimir! Very interesting tutorial.
Glad you like it. Thanks :)
Hi Vladimir - I have been going through your videos for the past few days. What a gem ! I have now 3 favorites tiers, Devin Olsen, Neil (Neil's Spanish Fly box) and Vladimir. Quick question, do you ever use super glue on thread and after you applied tinsel, before UV resin? I have seen lots of French videos where tiers do that and claim to obtain different color finish with cyanolite . I know it complicate things ( I am already overwhelm with all the different material and color you can use for perdigons...). Talking about beads, what size did you use here with that size #18 (9.2 mm) hook? What about bead color, is copper your go to? Is silver or gold too shinny? Best - Stephane
Glad you are enjoying it. Thanks for your compliments. I dont use superglue with tinsels. I change body color by changing thread color. In this case black makes it darker.
Bead size is determined solely by places i fish. Size 18 usually has 2.3 jig off or 2.3-3mm slotted. But not rock solid rules....
Silver, copper and metallic pink are my 3 favorite colors. Or burnt gold... Take gold bead and burn it with lighter, drop it in water and enjoy the change
Just used the lighter trick. The gold color is gone and replaced by a mat copper / pink finish - really cool. Thanks for the tip.
Could you add a flash of bright colored resin in the bead hole on the hook eye side?
Thats an interesting thought. Never tried it but i dont see why not. Good idea. Cheers 🍺😀
Zdravo Vladmir! What size bead are you using?
Hi Andy, its 2.8 on this one. However, i make my flies in range of weights. I think ita one of the most important things to consider when filling a new nymph box. I'd rather have one pattern in few sizes and as many weights as possible than many patterns in one or two weights
Killer video! What is the make and model of the hook you're using out of curiosity?
Thank you. Hook is a sample hook i got from a factory and that i am considering to sell. Slightly thicker wire compared with most brands nowadays
@@Oholisfliesandfishing I’m considering the same thing so that’s good to know!
Great video and content!! If I may ask, are you friends with Howard Croston, the world champ fly fisherman? If so I’ve herd stories of him tying your flies, fishing them in competitions and actually fishing with you. Thanks a bunch!!
Thanks. I dont remember that we talked. Maybe in Bosnia or Slovakia during championships. But cant say we're friends. If he used my flies than i am honoured. That would be very flattering
Best
Vladimir 🍺🍺😀
@@Oholisfliesandfishing he definitely said he used one of your stone fly patterns in a comp and it caught him an extra key fish. Thanks!!
@@wvlongshooter3912 Thats cool :)
