    Thanks for sharing this. I just started tying flies and fly fishing. Caught 2 rainbows yesterday on the Purple Perdigon bullet. First time fishing with a fly I tied and it was a success. Love your videos and attitude. Keep it up. Thank You again.

    Good instruction. These simple ties produce so well. It makes me wonder why we even bother tying the complex patterns any longer.

    I tied a couple and will try on the Yakima tomorrow. Liked the Sharpie on white thread. Much easier! Also really liked how you showed each item used at end of video.

    Any issue with the hard as nails not holding up without it being encased in resin? Thanks!

    Hi there, I am new to euronymphing, tried the blowtorch the other day - blew my mind tbh.
    I have a question for you, I am looking to buy these White Farm CDL packs, but not sure which one should I be getting.
    Could you please let me know what pack you have here ? (I want to have tailing fibers, some hackle feathers and some for ugly walts.) Huge thank you.

    Is it Glo-Brite thread or floss? I enjoy your tutorials very much.

      Sorry. I listened a bit more carefully to the vid, and you said floss.

    Do you not like the Gulff magic black? There’s no depression if you if you hit it with the light. Or less depression then after the polish dries?
    Perfect Perdigon I see so many ppl tying them so thick with a fat taper.

      I personally don’t like the way it sets up with the gulff black UV. Ive also noticed that it’s much more transparent vs the hard as nails. I’m not sure the fish car that much I just like the way it looks and confidence is everything!

    Why not just use purple thread? Is that glo-brite brighter than regular purple thread? New to this, curious, thanks.

    Nice tie. Do you think the 16 and 18 are better or can you go a little larger? Seems the bead your using is quite heavy. Is that for deeper water? Thanks for sharing.

    • @FlyingTies
      @FlyingTies  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, you can go with a bigger hook if you would like. I generally won't go above a size 14 because it's such a bright fly the larger sizes tend to not be as effective. I tie this will a bunch of different bead sizes for different use cases but this combo is kinda in the middle of that range. Hope that helps

    Great looking fly! Do you think replacing the floss with holographic sulky tinsel would work, or would that be too much flash? I guess there’s really only one way to find out. Ha!

    • @FlyingTies
      @FlyingTies  3 года назад

      Yeah, lots of people use different color tinsel’s for these types of patterns. It just takes a bit of experimenting to see what your local fish like. Thanks for watching!
