    Nice pattern. I'm tying up some today for a trip later this week. Although it's going to get cold, I just got a project close to fishing waters so will give it a try and hopefully ice on the guides won't be too big of an issue.

    God I hate tying with peacock herl cause it's so brittle but that's a good looking fly so I will force myself to tie some lol good job!

    Like the fly. May be a bit bulky if you intend to the the fly deep and get it there fast. Really liked your idea of the loop to end up with front legs. I will fish it this year.

    Iit just so happens I bought some amber wire today for a different fly pattern. I'll tie some up tonight for tomorrows trip. I'm curious to see how it does. Congrats on getting into the Umpqua catalog.

    Zach say you don’t have amber wire could you tie with another color of wire and what would the color be you think? and congrats on getting with Umpqua!

      Hey thanks, you could use copper or gold also. I try to match my wire to the bead color for the most part

    Killer pattern. I will grab a few at the shop. But they will not be fish Eurostyle. I will fish them AmeriStyle.
