Thanks for sharing that lighter trick. That’s awesome. Been a struggle finding ways to make sure I don’t get a tag of thread and this should help a lot.
Love the name, love the fly. Excited to try the ~20 variants of perdigons I've tied up this week this weekend =) Its hard to put down flies that i KNOW produce fish to try new things though haha.
Because it’s easier, and nymphs tumble around in the water column anyways. The fish will not know if it’s “upside down”, or else we’re in serious trouble as fisherman lol. You will not experience a difference in catch rate. I think Devin Olsen did something on this, it may be on his website.
Amazing. Tied some up and used them today with incredible results!
I can say only "This perdigon WORKS great" Thanks for the tutorial! Best wishes!

Thanks Justin! Glad you enjoy, tight lines!
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm new to fly tying, great tips. You sold me on that UV black resin. Love the way it looks on the fly.
Thanks for watching Brandon, I defiantly suggest the black uv resin if you are getting into tying nymphs its a great product for wing pads!
Looks good Jake. That's a good tip with the space behind the bead. Cheers
Thanks Darren!
The March Brown is one of my favourite dry flys. So, i'll be tying some of these Perdigons for my Tasmanian trip in October.
The lighter trick was worth the price of admission!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed !

Ciekawa koncepcja. 👍!
Круто получилось просто супер.
UV Black Resin so cool. Does your UV light shining into my eyes @7:25 cause damage?
I likes curing on a bright sunny day.tie and cure inside then hook them to something that won’t blow away and bake in the sun
Thanks for sharing, nice video. BTW where did you order the black UV rasin from?
Thank you! I got the resin from Gulff but if you live in Canada or USA flyfishfood online shop carries it now.
Hi I'm just learning how to tie these types of flies can I ask what type of uv resin did you put on the bod thank you
👍
Interestingly , why would you put the wing case on the bottom of a gig fly? How often do nymphs swim or move upside down?

Where did u get the gulf uv resin
Jake why put the wing pad on the bottom of the fly? Great vids by-the-way... thanks for putting them up. DK
Your right Doug, that's kind of corny
Since the fly rides hook point up why would the black not be on the bottom of the hook
Because it’s easier and it will tumble around in the water column anyways, rarely does the hook stay completely vertical.
Is brassie size bigger than small? Sorry new to tying. Thank for this video.
Yes, Slight bigger!
