      Haha that’s awesome! I’m still not sure I’ll be keeping the Air 75 in my collection, so I probably won’t be doing anything else with it.

    Great review. I have the ultra and I love it because I use it to screen share when I teach class. The multitask option lets me have my slides, translator for mll students and I can eve show a video or pull up outside information. That being said, my iPad 8th gen displayed the bigger bars on the side but had higher resolution in terms of images. But hey we make tradeoffs, and that's life. There is no such thing as the perfect product. Thanks for sharing your perspective and keep up the great work!

    Hi, I wanted to get a wireless keyboard, so I can sit further from my laptop. NuPhy Air meets almost all of my preferences (i just wish the keycaps were shine through, but I can get around that with backlight or at least I hope I can). But it's right on the edge of my price range. Me being from Europe makes it difficult to return in case I ain't happy with it so I wanna be certain about what I'm buying. My question is why aren't you keeping it (I got that from comments) and/or would you recommend me anything similar(doesn't matter if it's 60% or 75%, but I don't want bigger)?

    • @CaseyHardman
      @CaseyHardman  Год назад +1

      They actually have shine-through keycaps now! I think they are an additional purchase though. I opted for the Keychron K10 because I prefer a full-size layout and normal keycaps. I would check out NuPhy’s other options, as well as Keychron. Both are great brands and are good quality for the price!

      @@slin9642 I actually don't use the keyboard anymore since I prefer to have a numpad (I now use a Keychron K10 with Boba U4 silent switches) but the NuPhy is a fantastic keyboard and killer if you need something small and wireless. The mouse is perfect as well. Super light and comfortable.

    Hey, I am a red/linear on non-low profile mechanical keyboards, I heard that browns are better on low-profile keyboard, would you recommend browns over reds on the Air75?

    • @CaseyHardman
      @CaseyHardman  Год назад +3

      I can't vouch for any other low-profile keyboards, but if I were buying the Air75 again, I would definitely go with the Browns. They're honestly extremely similar and both are a solid choice, but the Reds do feel a little lacking. If you're interested, I'm selling mine with both switches and keycaps. I think the most use I had was what you see in this video. lol

      @@CaseyHardman Got the keyboard and was reaaally disappointed on how the reds feel. As a touch typer, the reds felt like they were very heavy and had a lot of pushback when typing. It never felt like I fully pressed a key properly and it messed with my typing speed a lot. Tried the single brown switch that was included and it felt a lot easier to actuate and more responsive. Decided to return it because I was too used to a more compact keyboard layout and the keyboard felt very foreign to me with the larger keys. Have you by any chance tried the keychrons low profile reds or browns?

    how did you turn the two led indicators off?

    • @CaseyHardman
      @CaseyHardman  7 месяцев назад

      If you look at the user manual, there should be a section about Sidelight settings where it shows you the key combinations to turning the brightness up & down. I don't have this keyboard anymore but I believe I just turned that brightness all the way down, so I'd try that first!
