it's crazy i literally wanted a video just like this today.... and here we are 2 hours after work with the exact video. thank you for the comparison! have you considered lubing them?
Great review. I have the ultra and I love it because I use it to screen share when I teach class. The multitask option lets me have my slides, translator for mll students and I can eve show a video or pull up outside information. That being said, my iPad 8th gen displayed the bigger bars on the side but had higher resolution in terms of images. But hey we make tradeoffs, and that's life. There is no such thing as the perfect product. Thanks for sharing your perspective and keep up the great work!
Haha I agree! I think they both sound great, personally. I wish I could say the Browns were noticeably more tactile, but they honestly feel super similar.
Hi, I wanted to get a wireless keyboard, so I can sit further from my laptop. NuPhy Air meets almost all of my preferences (i just wish the keycaps were shine through, but I can get around that with backlight or at least I hope I can). But it's right on the edge of my price range. Me being from Europe makes it difficult to return in case I ain't happy with it so I wanna be certain about what I'm buying. My question is why aren't you keeping it (I got that from comments) and/or would you recommend me anything similar(doesn't matter if it's 60% or 75%, but I don't want bigger)?
They actually have shine-through keycaps now! I think they are an additional purchase though. I opted for the Keychron K10 because I prefer a full-size layout and normal keycaps. I would check out NuPhy’s other options, as well as Keychron. Both are great brands and are good quality for the price!
@@CaseyHardman thanks:) yeah i think i will buy it, i started studying informatics/computer science while working in a Company ( its called dual studying in germany). This keyboard is like a good investion for me, i will work for the next 5 years for sure with it and i think about to buy a wireless mice with holes too.
@@slin9642 I actually don't use the keyboard anymore since I prefer to have a numpad (I now use a Keychron K10 with Boba U4 silent switches) but the NuPhy is a fantastic keyboard and killer if you need something small and wireless. The mouse is perfect as well. Super light and comfortable.
Hey, I am a red/linear on non-low profile mechanical keyboards, I heard that browns are better on low-profile keyboard, would you recommend browns over reds on the Air75?
I can't vouch for any other low-profile keyboards, but if I were buying the Air75 again, I would definitely go with the Browns. They're honestly extremely similar and both are a solid choice, but the Reds do feel a little lacking. If you're interested, I'm selling mine with both switches and keycaps. I think the most use I had was what you see in this video. lol
@@kishashante Probably $100 plus shipping if you're in the US. I think I have maybe a couple hours of use on it, and it comes with Red and Brown switches and both keycap sets.
@@CaseyHardman Got the keyboard and was reaaally disappointed on how the reds feel. As a touch typer, the reds felt like they were very heavy and had a lot of pushback when typing. It never felt like I fully pressed a key properly and it messed with my typing speed a lot. Tried the single brown switch that was included and it felt a lot easier to actuate and more responsive. Decided to return it because I was too used to a more compact keyboard layout and the keyboard felt very foreign to me with the larger keys. Have you by any chance tried the keychrons low profile reds or browns?
If you look at the user manual, there should be a section about Sidelight settings where it shows you the key combinations to turning the brightness up & down. I don't have this keyboard anymore but I believe I just turned that brightness all the way down, so I'd try that first!
@@j-1994 Interesting. It definitely should. Check out the manual here and look at item #5 and that first key combination should be what you're looking for. Let me know if that does it! cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0268/7297/1373/files/NuPhy_Air75_V2_Quick_Guide.pdf?v=1696498123
Not my thing. I bought this with the reds and wanted a bit more tactile feedback, so I bought the browns. Ended up wanting a full-size again, so I bought a Keychron K10 and sold this a couple weeks ago.
bro cant believe you allowed the brown clips to have a heater/ac on in the background. Not comparable with stuff like that it ruins the sound profile of the video for accurate comparisons.
Haha I know, I know. I realized after putting all of my gear away and by then I was over it. lol I also only did this for myself for fun, so by no means was this meant to be a super professional comparison. I think it gets the job done though.

Haha that’s awesome! I’m still not sure I’ll be keeping the Air 75 in my collection, so I probably won’t be doing anything else with it.
What did you get in its place :)?
Whoops. Wish RUclips informed me of replies. lol I have a Keychron K10 Pro now!

Thank you for this video. Quick question: are these lubed or unlubed?
Unlubed! Both sets came from NuPhy, and they’re completely stock.
The same feeling, just browns little bit tactile.

Where did you hot this mice? it looks insane, i definetly want to buy that one
The mouse is an XTRFY MZ1 Wireless. I bought it straight from their website for $119. I love it!
