Danny you and your dad brought tears to my eyes. Your passion and ability to teach is awesome. I’m hoping I can implement this to improve my game. Can’t thank you both enough❤
This actually made me cry. I lost my dad to covid a little over 2 years ago. I've worked with him for over 7 years on developing a pretty good swing. Keep in mind he started playing golf at the age of 70. I remember the hurdles he endured and happiness on the progress he made on the range. Giving each other high fives when he swung well. Cherish these moments and memories. It's a great feeling.
What a wonderful video. Watching you and your Dad and the obvious loving relationship you have together. The pride here is not the 200 yards but the bond of father and son, at this point in your lives, accomplishing it together. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Danny, working with your dad bring tears to my eyes. My dad introduced me to golf in 1967, and we played golf together until he passed away 4 years ago. I so appreciate how you're teaching your dad. Your instruction is exactly what I need now that I'm 67. Thank you so much!!
Well done Danny. I am a 65 year old in Western Australia. Since watching your videos I now hit the middle 17 times in a round and have gone from 95 to 87 on average. Playing better and more consistent than I have ever done. Your techniques are spot on.
Regardless of age, time spent playing, or any other factors, 17 fairways is simply awesome! Also, to have dropped that many strokes is equally as impressive. I love this channel and draw so much from it myself but don't have any numbers to share just yet. If they're half as good as yours I would be elated.
Having watched Danny's coaching on all parts of the game and put it in practice, today I shot gross 76 of an 11.9 handicap. 6 shot improvement long may it progress. Roll on the beginning of the season.
Jesus I have never really been excited watching a golf lesson but holy mother I jumped up when your Dad hit to big number. Good for you and really good for your Dad. Your enthusiasm is infectious Danny but even more importantly is the simplicitly of your instructions. Great work sir, as always.
Not only is Danny a ‘best in class’ teaching pro, is approach is both kind and patient. @Danny - never stop being kind. That is your million dollar gift. Cheers to you sir. 🙌🙌🙌🙏👍💪
Brilliant Danny. How great to see your dad so happy and enthusiastic. As a senior myself who thinks 200 yards is a good hit, it's so great seeing you working with someone who most amateurs can equate to. 👍
Brilliant Danny, to see your Dad's eyes light up when he took the cover off the driver was priceless. Then to achieve the 200 plus was magic, what a great team. 😍😍
Love your lessons with your dad. He is a hero to us senior golfers. I have been working on my tempo and letting the driver fly and your lesson was perfect timing to what I am working on at the range. You and your dad are helping all us senior golfers
Wow! Amazing Danny! My Dad is 82 and we play together every week. I'm a 7 and always teaching him something new. He still scores 90-95 with great tempo. This is a keeper for me. Of course as all the comments I got very emotionally with this one. Well done mate.
Cheers Danny, the new graphics ( circle) has been an absolute game changer for me . Much like your dad I had the over the top slice .since seeing the club path circle I've added 40y carry with a slight draw !! Golf is so much more enjoyable playing from the fairway !
Heart touching and inspirational video of a great son helping his awesome father. The golf was just a part of it. Wish everyone who is a father has a son like you. Brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for all you do!
These videos are great. Wonderful relationship between you and your father. You're videos are the best on RUclips. Thank you for helping me become a much better golfer and making the game fun. I now shoot in the low 80s. On another note as a father I can tell you that your father cherishes all these moments. I am 62 and lost my beautiful son to cancer at 25 years old. He and I did everything together including golf. Unfortunately we cannot have those wonderful moments anymore. These videos with your dad fill my heart. You're both wonderful men.
Wonderful video...I sure miss my Pop...He wasn't a golfer, but always did his best to support my brother and I. Treasure your time and these moments! Really great to see his improvement!
Danny. It’s very heartwarming to watch the videos featuring your Dad. The joy he displays in improving his technique, coupled with his obvious pride in you is a pleasure to see.
I've watched this video several times and each time I get excited for him; hard not to smile. Would love to see you and Dad playing and perhaps teaching course management for those of us that don't strike it 10 miles and are trying to break 90.
@@DanielMaude great perspective! You're blessed to have each other. My Dad taught me to play golf at age 4. Whenever I get to see him, we play golf every chance we get! I'm trying to plan a trip for us to head to Scotland in 2024 to play the Old Course and Carnoustie while he's still playing the best golf of his life. Hoping it works out. Best wishes to you. Really enjoy watching your videos which are super helpful.
Danny Your dad videos are my favourites. My dad taught me to play golf as a kid. These are some of my best memories. I'm 55 now and he is 77. He has only days left now, with pancreatic cancer. This video is great for so many reasons...but mainly for that embrace at the end. What a gift you are to each other. What a gift golf is to men allowing us to share joy and companionship. I know from the way you talk to your dad that you love, admire and respect him.. and that it's 2 way. And I know that you feel the preciousness of these times. Thanks Danny. So grateful for the kindness I see that reminds me of my relationship with my dad. Respect. "What do you want to be when you grow up? " "Kind" (the mole the horse and the boy)

Danny so refreshing to see your coaching explaining in layman terms how to improve speed and accuracy. Moving your Dad's circle to allow a free flow while trying to generate a draw at speed to hit fairways speaks volumes. Just listening to the acoustics of the swing to produce a greater "whoosh" on the follow through seem to not only help your Dad but added to his motivation. This aspect cannot be underestimated. We rely on the metric too much to believe what is a good or bad shot. The 200 yarder was known to your Dad before the score came up because he heard and felt it. Thanks.
This video made me so happy. I lost my dad last year and I miss the days we had together. As always great lesson Danny. Spend as much time with your dad as possible. You will never regret it!
Very special video! I am in Nebraska and it will be in the 50s today so off to the range to try this. The happiness on your father's face was legit. Good job!
Great for both of you. Outstanding. My father is 84 and I am 64 and we play golf together, so I see the joy and love you have for each other. Bravo Danny.
Such a gift for him that you are able to help him with something he obviously loves. I also love that some of his issues are MY issues. Thank you Danny. You are doing what you were meant to do
I started watching your videos a little over a year ago and my game, and my understanding of how a swing actually works has improved significantly. Can't thank you enough Danny
Danny, you and your dad are a class act. You are the best instructor with a passion to teach. I’m glad you bring your dad into the videos because it really is inspirational. So many of us love playing with our dads.
Absolutely brilliant Danny! I've watched literally thousands of YT golf videos and this is the first that's ever brought me to tears. I love your videos and your instructional style is great, and you and you dad's relationship is fantastic. Keep them coming Danny and well done!!
Your dads comment about the club feeling really light... I can relate, I recently bought the ParadymX and I could feel the difference between the older Lynx Predator I was using and that club. It gave me a better feeling of where the club head was in relation to my hands and body that made it MUCH easier to hit longer and straighter than I had before. Couple that extra feel and the changes I made to my swing from watching videos that you and Ricky made and I've gone from hitting 178 yard left to right bananas to smashing 190+ yard straight hits even with my injuries. Thankyou!
An excellent , very enjoyable video to watch your dad reach the magic 200 yard distance. I will watch it again making notes of the vital points & then try to increase my driver distance. It was a lovely moment when your dad realised that he was the proud owner of the new Callaway Paradyn driver. Well done to both of you. YOU HAVE ENCOURAGED ME & NO DOUBT OTHER SENIORS TO KEEP WORKING ON DANNY'S WAYS TO IMPROVE.
thank you danny ,your videos are always so helpful.you dont exaurate with your tips and i feel that you deliver what you are trying to teach in a very simple way. and i love how passionate you are to see your dad hit a good golf shot ,hold onto him as tight as you can ,because once they are gone all you have is tears and memories.
I’m not gonna lie, when he hit past 200, and you guys hugged, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I’m developing a love for the game and it started watching golf with my dad when I was younger. Danny, as a 70 yr old golfer, this was an extremely helpful video. The detailed movement instruction coupled with the "feeling" suggestion hit home for me. I too am rigidly swinging, concentrating on the mechanical and hitting the same distance as your dad was. Hopefully I can catch up to that youngster (at least at heart!) In my next range seaaion. I Think this is the best video you've ever done, unbelievable instruction combined with watching your dad respond to feedback and direction to eventually break the 200. Superb Stuff, this is what makes us all keep playing.
I could watch this over and over. Not only is this something I'm trying to work on, but the connection between you and dad is by far the best part of this video. From the moment he stops in his tracks at the sight of the new driver, to your cheers at his 200+ drive. Thanks for such amazing content!
Just a brilliant vid.. from the lesson to the look on your dads face to your fantastic relationship… he’s taught you a lot , now you’re teaching him.. love it
This is probably one of the best driver instructional videos I’ve seen. It makes absolute sense and is SO easy to practice and implement. I’ll be rewatching this at the driving range tomorrow morning and giving it a go.
Brilliant! You're unquestionably one of the best golf coaches online/in person! I thought that was great, I had a wave of emotion! Keep up the great content. JS
Thank you…. You inspire me to keep playing. I’m 71 years old and have been considering giving up the game after playing for 50 years. Thank you and your dad.
What a great vid. When the music rolled in the background I knew that >200 was coming and sure enough got a touch teary eyed. This is just an awesome series for we modest golfers to learn from.

Tha most reliable , and comprehencive teaching of golf ever. Thankiuu !
I could watch this over and over. Not only is this something I'm trying to work on, but the connection between you and dad is by far the best part of this video. From the moment he stops in his tracks at the sight of the new driver, to your cheers at his 200+ drive. Thanks for such amazing content!
As most people say this brought tears to my eyes, could feel myself willing your dad to get the 200yd drive!!
Lovely video Danny
Not only is this a great instructional video, it is also heartwarming to see so much love and joy between you and your dad. Fantastic!
Fabulous Danny, seeing you and your Dad working towards that goal was amazing. Technically and emotionally relatable!

You can see the pride and love in his dads eye when he looks at Danny. Awesome!

This is probably one of the best driver instructional videos I’ve seen. It makes absolute sense and is SO easy to practice and implement. I’ll be rewatching this at the driving range tomorrow morning and giving it a go.
Hi Danny, You make it so simple! You made your Dad so happy!!!
I really enjoy your sessions with your dad....he and I about the same age so I can identify with his issues and your drills for him. Keep them coming.
Brilliant! You're unquestionably one of the best golf coaches online/in person! I thought that was great, I had a wave of emotion! Keep up the great content. JS
Glad you enjoyed it Jamie
Not sure who I enjoy more. You or your dad! Keep these sessions coming. I really enjoy them.
I loved this video for all the reasons listed by folks below. Please keep them coming. Congrats to you and your Dad.
Love the interaction with your Dad. With the newly found flow he was striping it! Great job! Most of all enjoy the precious time together.
