      I know RIGHT?!
I was like "C'Mon Pop, seven more yards!" But that can tire you out VERY quickly which is the only reason he was losing yards latter on.
I'll bet a follow up video will show him hitting that 200 with ease and consistently.
We're all rooting for you dad!!!!

The way you have used these new additional graphics Danny to show the “circle” is possibly the best use of this overlay technique I have seen on any golf tuition video. Hi Danny. I have been waiting all week for the driver lesson with your dad. As a 76-years-young wannabe golfer I found your iron lesson with your dad invaluable and putting that lesson into practice has really helped me. A good few years back you had me hitting lovely draws with my driver with no effort, which I have been unable to replicate until this driver lesson with your dad. I now realise where I have been going wrong so with those two lessons I now have an encyclopaedic head of what I need to do. Thanks again.

I’m the same as your dad, being too careful with the swing. Without a ball there I can swing much faster. Probably as much a mental issue as anything. Love the lessons with your dad, for me at 66, it’s more real than watching scratch golfers hitting 6 irons further than I can hit a driver. Thanks for this Danny. Melissa

Great video Danny with your dad learning how to gain more club head speed! I was fascinated by the fact that in a few short minutes, your dad took his club head speed from 66 mph up to 76 mph and his distances from 160 yds. to almost 200 yds. This was accomplished mainly by using a "catapult" technique of the driver within the swing circle. As an experienced golfer, as your dad, this is definitely something that I will be working on. Well Done Dad and Danny!!!

Your comments about why you practice a change / pattern at slow speed first was very clear - sometimes I've missed that in lessons (& God forbid YT videos). Watching your dad chase the distance was interesting to see the progress and how he essentially went back to -5* club path, albeit more consistent numbers.
Good video Danny, and thanks to Mr Maude Snr for allowing it on the internet - lots of good learnings.

These kind of videos really resonate with the community, not just because a lot of us have similar fundamental flaws to players like your dad, but also to see a relatable explanation with tangible results. Your dad seems great

What a great video . This resonated with me tremendously as I’ve really been working on the same things . But your added visual effects and adjustments in set up really just helped it click in my mind. Can’t wait to get to work on it !

My last golf coach told me to compensate for slices by swinging more flat left, and left an impression that golf swing arcs are not circular! But by you introducing a constant (where the swing arc always stays the same), it allowed me to align my shoulders and hips square!

Absolutely fantastic … I love these videos with your Dad … despite your great efforts, my slice is still pretty frustratingly evident (though my irons/hybrids are absolutely dialled in!) and has become somewhat of my holy grail! Your videos (the only ones I watch now) have been super helpful so I will persevere, I am looking forward to the day when I can report back that it’s gone! … thanks as always 😊

Hi Danny, Following on from my comments recently regarding graphics, today was crystal clear, best yet. For me there can't be too many arcs shown, they make the adjustments so clear. JJ would be proud of you. I'm using the weather to reprogram my swing to incorporate the two turns and a swish using the arc as the main swing thought.really speeding up the arc naturally. No more thoughts of backswing etc just swing. Thank you it was so clear, so was last week. A lot applied to me.

Danny, I took this simple set up adjustment to the course yesterday and I have to say I am impressed. I am a high handicapper, typical amateur golfer, but yesterday I was either center of the fairway and long or slightly left off a miss hit but still in play. On the holes I used my driver I was 80% in the fairway and long (I usually roll out about 240, but I had back to back holes that rolled 270). I am not hitting the ball harder, but just more pure. As a 57 year old golfer, yesterday was amazing. Thank you, I am on a path to take my handicap from a 24 to a 15 (or better) by the end of the year and you are a large part of it!
