I think this refers to how some treatments or products can lighten or be harmful to melanin in the skin, which is an issue if you have a dark complexion.
A lot of lazers and treatments aren't effective or can damage skin with a high melanin content. So there are plenty of places that will advise that for some issues they have no resolve because the treatments they offer won't benefit or will damage skin with melanin. For example for some time people of color were advised to use electrolysis instead of lazer hair removal because the lazer couldn't distinguish between darker skin and the hair. It would burn the whole area causing burns, skin damage and scarring.
Ooooooh, I see! Thank you for enlightening me. But can't they still do a facial without the other stuff? Or find some other methods that would work? It seems sad that people with darker skin color would be excluded from a service because nobody wants to help

I think a significant part of facials is how the client feels afterwards. High quality facials do use treatments that leave your skin feeling good, and usually help keep your skin healthy looking. Yes, you can get the same feeling and look with cheaper materials. But personally if I go get a facial I want to feel pampered. You’re paying for the experience and convenience (based off what I’ve seen, facials are a fast expensive way to consistently nice skin while doing it yourself with cheaper materials takes longer)
Lol I used to suffer from acne when I started puberty but my mom showed me to just wash my face with dove bar soap with warm water everyday or even during shower. Cheaper alternative to this: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, Salicylic acid, nyacinamide plus zinc, a cooling face mask you can get for about 5 quid plus a daily face massage that you can find on almost any korean beauty channel. This totals to about 20 quid and will last several months.
The fact that it is SO expensive, anyone who has this facial treatment done, in a way, must feel special. Cause they know that not everyone can afford it. That's enough to make anyone feel special
That light therapy mask looks like the Deesse mask which costs £600 (in the UK) and she charges $85 to use it in the facial. That’s some healthy profit margin!
The only part that I'd pay for is the suction/infusion. The facial has Egyptian Rose which is a fragrance. It can give you an allergic reaction, make you more sensitive to any other products and make top blood vessels more apparent. I'm not paying for someone to put crap like that on my face.
For real! I feel western skincare is so behind the Asian one. This is how I feel about Clinique and their "nr 1 toner". It's just alcohol for the most part. 😒
The "pore sucker" is a Silkpeel and the jar at the end is excess treatment solution and whatever was sucked from the pores. I used to work in medspas that had them and they were hit or miss for me personally. Some peoples skin responded well, others it didn't do much.
It’s kind of funny I see all these people complaining about the price of it in the comments but honestly I don’t see a problem what’s wrong with spending good money on something that works and makes you feel good and helps with your physical health.
$85 upgrade for the light mask to kill bacteria that causes acne. So does benzyl peroxide. And if you have acne under deep under the skin you want salicylic acid in your face wash. You just really only need a good face wash or 2, a moisturizer, sunscreen and to stay consistent. You will see results that will last. These results that she get immediately with go away within a day
Tbh Ik what u meant to say, it's for the whole thing you can only get it there it's just some people don't have the money to do it so you could do your own for cheaper and get way more items obviously it's not going to be the same as the one you get at a spa but your saving money

That's enough to make anyone feel special
the most satisfying part is peeling that mask off😂
No I feel it would be painful with facial hair😳
Think upper lip hair or side hair being pulled🙈
@@pinkheart315 it's not a strong one so it won't hurt at all😀💕
i think i would have like a gallon of ”regrets” in my face.
That light therapy mask looks like the Deesse mask which costs £600 (in the UK) and she charges $85 to use it in the facial. That’s some healthy profit margin!
she looks exactly the same-
Edit: yes i know you have to come here often to waste your money.
Edit: woah, thanks for the likes..
ouch. truth hurts tho.
Duh lmao it has to be a consistent thing for it to start showing
well yeah.. you have to go regularly to see results
It’s always done on people with amazing skin! I wanna see somebody try it and the see the results to see if there skin got better :(
The only part that I'd pay for is the suction/infusion. The facial has Egyptian Rose which is a fragrance. It can give you an allergic reaction, make you more sensitive to any other products and make top blood vessels more apparent. I'm not paying for someone to put crap like that on my face.
Whoooooa like your skin literally transformed before our eyes! That's amazing.
It’s nice how she custom makes the masks to the customers needs
Victoria secrets doesn't have a secret now since u uploaded it on RUclips. We know how to be a model npw
jessy da weird muffin it takes much more than this to become a model
iivalenx for real tho...
when she said "my face juice, my worst nightmare" something inside of me just went "drink it!"
Nobody:
Not a single soul:
Her: tHis iS MY jAR oF faCe JuIcE
"your face looks congested"
me: *exits *
She could have been more specific. Describe what's congested so beginners know what you are talking about.
But her skin is naturally amazing af
Clearly you guys have not went to Korea before. This is pretty ancient mask to me.
Lmao IKR??? I have on a korean brand face pack right now. $2 and leaves my face bright and glowing
K
For real! I feel western skincare is so behind the Asian one. This is how I feel about Clinique and their "nr 1 toner". It's just alcohol for the most part. 😒
lmao right, she could've gone to Gangnam and get more than this for the same price or even less
$275 for a facial should get rid of her pimples hmmmmmmmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔 why r they still there thoooo 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
those things don't go overnight.
yoongs Yh ik but man said she payed $275 pfttttt could never be me
My pimples are usually gone 2 to 3 days after my facials... They don't disappear within an hour.
4:45
Her neck seems longer than it should ;-;
The "pore sucker" is a Silkpeel and the jar at the end is excess treatment solution and whatever was sucked from the pores. I used to work in medspas that had them and they were hit or miss for me personally. Some peoples skin responded well, others it didn't do much.
Props to the owner! Black girl magic 🤩
let's be honest guys I can't see any difference
She's so pretty
Who else is having an anxiety attack looking at it going over the eyes snd the light mask
When she says "oh, she thicc"
*smile of regret enters the chat*
Bruh am I the only one who would be opening up my eyes while she is putting on that stuff 😂 lmao
Probably is why they like it it puts a smile on there face since all they can do is frown when they work they realize they have a smile
They probably like it cuz they have enough money to try it🤷🏾♀️
Your face glows after 😍
Actually, we still use the word soma. It's not just Ancient Greek.
I came hear just to say that lol.
It’s kind of funny I see all these people complaining about the price of it in the comments but honestly I don’t see a problem what’s wrong with spending good money on something that works and makes you feel good and helps with your physical health.
A broke high school student can't relate.....
Exactly
If her "bad" skin required $170 extra.... I wonder if I have to sell my kidney for treating my skin.
1:03 y’all know where i could get that chair?
it’ll be really helpful for me to cry in.
No one:
The 80$ serum: RiSe anD sHinE
Seeing her face juice was so satisfying coz we know her skin is a lot more better
$85 add in for the light therapy? I just bought one for $99. I also suggest The Ordinary products. Super affordable and I've had such good results.
"we're gonna' give you kinda like everything"
can we just talk about how long the first woman's neck was, good lord
This spa looks lovely.
I have a blue light spot treater at home that was like 30 bucks can't imagine payying 85 dollars to use it once
Argh I'd feel so claustrophobic, this panics me so much
$85 upgrade for the light mask to kill bacteria that causes acne. So does benzyl peroxide. And if you have acne under deep under the skin you want salicylic acid in your face wash. You just really only need a good face wash or 2, a moisturizer, sunscreen and to stay consistent. You will see results that will last. These results that she get immediately with go away within a day
you’re different than everyone i’ve ever seen before, like idk what it is about you, but you’re so pretty and different in facial features.
Imaging what will come out of my skin when they clean it gives me nightmares
Interviewer: What is your beauty secret?
Victoria's Secret Models: Just drink a lot of water.😊
the owners face doesnt really move..... 💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️
Maybe I'm terrible or maybe it was the lighting but I thought her skin didn't look so good. Seemed to have quite a bit of texture.
Or I can just buy a mask for $7 at Ulta
For $275 I can get a pack of like 50 masks
It's not a mask for 225. Its the whole thing and you can't do that at home
Tbh ik I meant to say "buy a mask" ik you can't actually buy one there 🙂
@@Paris-ok5yz i think you misunderstand. You can buy one at ulta of course, i'm just saying a mask isn't the same as this facial or even close to it
Tbh Ik what u meant to say, it's for the whole thing you can only get it there it's just some people don't have the money to do it so you could do your own for cheaper and get way more items obviously it's not going to be the same as the one you get at a spa but your saving money
@@Paris-ok5yz yes but when you say OR i can just buy a mask thats like saying it works just as well
