- The Olga Lorencin Skin Care Clinic in Beverly Hills, California, has an impressive list of regulars, including Halle Berry, Eva Mendes, and Sofia Vergara. Perhaps it’s not a coincidence that all three women are famous for their soft, supple, and seemingly ageless skin. Their favorite treatment is the Red Carpet Facial, which is known around Hollywood as a secret weapon for immediately dewy skin. The treatment, which starts at $250, includes a light to medium noninvasive peel, a moderate to deep muscle-stimulating massage, light to moderate extractions, a lactic acid hand treatment, a hydrating mineral mask, and a green tea or caviar antioxidant ampoule. Insider producer Caroline Aghajanian headed to the Olga Lorencin Skin Care Clinic to receive the treatment from Lorencin herself for a discounted media rate and chat with her about what makes the facial so special.
Editor’s Note: Insider visited Olga Lorencin in 2019. The spa is currently closed for treatments, but is still shipping products, like facial kits similar to those seen in this video, online.

@@usernameusername6600 that is literally what she said
True. Models wouldn't be as pretty if they didnt take vigorous care of themselves

Why can't they do a video on a person with really bad skin issues to see if this actually works? Cause her skin is already in good condition.
Thn the truth wil reveal 😂
There are vids on RUclips that showcase the transition. It’s not immediate results. It’s a process
Because acids are not good for broken skin
One facial won’t do much. Celebrities take constant care of their skin and this is just to kinda really clean that upper layer of their skin before carpets. You must do facials regularly to notice a change.
EXACTLY!!!
imagine when it's over she says, "Oh honey, not quite. We're going to turn that pain from 10 to 11".

As a licensed esthetician, I was in total shock. A mini peel AND dermabrasion??? No ma’am. No No no no no. Thats way too much for the skin to handle in one treatment. The fact that she was in that much pain made me so uncomfortable because that is the last thing you want a client to do is scream in pain. And what were those massages?! High rated my ass
Yess girl me too
🤣
Remember: just because it's burning doesn't mean it's working
It is actually harmful for your skin, nothing should burn
@@michaelam5786 it does when you start doing chemical peels you should feel a tingling sensation if you have never tried it before you wouldn’t understand. The skin is a very complex and don’t think you should speak on something you may have not tried before..
@@moumuooo.o2283 yes I know chemical peels but there are so many mild ones and burning your face is not a way to go
@@michaelam5786 yes but that burning sensation can also happen if you have broken skin or baby skin I’ve put skincare products that will sting or burn if I have some broken skin or acne also burning sensation can vary depending on someone’s pain tolerance.
@@moumuooo.o2283 Having a tingling sensation is fine. But if a chemical peel is hurting you so much that you're yelling out, it is doing more harm than good. If it's burning, it's too harsh.
I wish the girls used in these videos have acne or noticable skin issues.
This
Yes
I wish someone with a skin condition to do facial videos - as someone with rosacea you cannot simply go in for a facial. You need to check the products being used as some ingredients like salycic acid severely dry and irritate the skin. On normal skin this gives a glowy effect but on people with rosacea this can lead to flare ups due to the sensitivity of the skin. Hope they consider this in future skin care videos...
Or more mature..
She did but now that she gets facials all the time they went away lol
Omg. I kept screaming “ close your eyes” when she put the actives on her face. That gave me extreme anxiety.
When you are doing facial , client should keep her eyes closed , especially when you are using the acids .

Wait I’m sorry haha. I’m an esthetician and multiple steps of exfoliation are absolutely a key and widely used method for skin prep and getting that glow. But for a peel to hurt her that much to then follow with micro seems absolutely nuts to me lol
That part ☝🏽
Is this methodology of product-product neutralization even safe? The heat product of that exothermic reaction looked super painful. I can see neutralizing the skin after the peel has been wiped off, but geeze!
I'm a cosmetic chemistry grad student and I wouldn't feel comfortable formulating a peel process in this way. And I wouldn't dare that for POC.
Yes! I’m sure the skin doesn’t appreciate the abuse!
I don't think it hurt as much as she made it seem, with all that editting. I've had peels with micro before and it's usually a mild peel and mild micro when they put them together.
My facials was the other way around - I would get microdermabrasion first and followed it up with the peel. And my God did it burn haha. But looking back, I really do not think my skin needed both. Using either one would be enough for my skin
I was going to say the same thing!! I worked for a dermatologist in Los Angeles for 6 years. She would have never done so many things on a person's face all in a row like that.
Also, I'll add that I've had dozens of those fruit acid peels, yes it burns a little but not that much. She over acted the pain, imho.
I'm shocked that you are applying the peel with that brush with her eyeballs exposed. They need to be covered. That could have been a serious injury.
Damn that burning part freaked me out 😱
I don’t see any difference other than she looks like she washed her face
That's hilarious... 😂
With warm water
Hey i thought the same ☺️
With skin care you normally don’t see the change, but with more long terms changes.
Haha yeah
I would love for these to be reviewed by a dermatologist, because this is some snake oil salesman level nonsense.
Not really. Have so one ever heard of chemical peels,etc...?
@@InnaVitamina777 they probably mean the woman talking about how it would steam her face or smth etc
Definitely not snake oil nonsense. Skin acids will transform your skin if used correctly and carefully long term.

$250 for experiencing an Acid Attack, wtf

I would rather do it by myself at home, you just need glycolic acid 35% (about $15/20ml), then toner with aloe ($20), and moisturizer or serum ($30), sheet mask ($5), then you would get that dewy skin haha
Glycolic acid 35% is SUPER Strong!!!!!😱 Most people can't even handle 10%. Be careful of dishing out skin acid advice!

@@TacosYBurritos8P you don't know they wouldn't take your advice. That's all I'm saying.
35 percent as a DIY is too strong. Which is why people get it done by dermatologists once in a while, because if you haven't done enough research, then things would go down south for your face.
Do it, we can always use a cautionary tale or a good laugh. 👍
Imagine a life of this girl getting paid to eat have facial etc
I would definitely want that job xD
As a believer in simple and practical skincare, a mask or any product you put on your skin shouldn't make you feel lvl 10 pain. Trust your body, it's trying to tell you something.
She seems like she knows what she's doing
If it wasn't so expensive I would definitely get this
Oh wait wrote this before she added the acid!! 😱
lactic and malic acids are very common in the skincare industry. just because it has the word ‘acid’ in it doesn’t mean it’s bad. the techniques she uses are chemically supported by doctors/dermatologists
LMAO, that was a big nono for me;) but yeah, no way in hell would I be able to afford this

Because it's a expensive spa 😛
Doesn't this affect the moisture barrier a lot? I understand that people get laser and TCA peels etc, but does this actually work kn favour for those with sensitive barriers?
you have to do lots of after care after heavier peels to actually get an anti aging effect, otherwise your skin just dries out and ages even faster
Me: I would do that, of I have money
Her: *screams*
Me: NOPE
250$ and I can more or less do this at home. The ordinary products gives me this results every time I do a facial by my own 😂❤️
Right?? I use that red acid and it really makes your skin look so much better even after 10 minutes
This is the exact glow and freshness that I get when I get my very reasonable herbal facial or face polish. Didn't witness anything extraordinary in this video.
OMG THE PEEL PART!!!!!!!!!!!
This so the only facial where I’ve actually seen an immediate results! Usually people look worse for days after facials or it just makes their skin worse
She did a peel on her but did not put SPF on afterwards. Or they just cut that part out. This facial is not worth $250. There are many things off about this facial and what steps she uses.
I do a similar with 1/100 of the price. Thanks for telling all the ingredients. I do mix and experiment and haven't regretted it once.

As someone who perform chemical peel, I wouldn’t use a brush, there a chance of of the solution to drip onto the eye. The sensitive area of the skin should be coated in a protective base. I also have client start a pre treatment plan to ensure peel penetration.
Surely you have to use a brush? The acids would burn your fingers to the bone. Plastic gloves wouldn't work either. But I agree about protecting sensitive areas and pre-treatment plan.
@@ksc743 no I use gloves and my fingers are fine. No peel should be able to burn gloves unless they aren’t industry standard
@@fgostoryteller2168 Okay. I have chemical peels twice a year and she uses a brush and I've never felt 'unsafe.' I guess it's personal preference on the part of the therapist maybe? With a strong acid peel like this I did feel she should have protected the eyes, nose and lips with Vaseline first. And she also could have put those plastic thingies over her eyes to be extra cautious!
@@ksc743 as long as she not over passing the skin and ensuring the peel isn’t dripping you should be fine but the brush present more risk compare to using gauze.
@@fgostoryteller2168 gauze? How? Do you put the gauze on then saturate it?
Uhhhh... Nah bro. I was outie when she said she was going to neutralize what sounds like a fairly strong acidic compound on skin with a base. I'd love to know how many people have gotten chemical burns from this idiocy. You want to age your skin ten years in a day? This. This is how you do it. It may make it look nice for a few days but after a couple years of these you're gonna look like a leather lampshade.
Always, always, always rinse off acid or base strong enough to cause a reaction with water; don't try to neutralize it. That's how you get burning and scarring.
