Hey guys, I have the same issue. I don't have the Default, Sam, Security etc... hives, and I think it has something to do with the fact that Microsoft made the change that they're not updating regback folders automatically anymore. I would say just move on to the next fix, as you need to have those regback hives with values that are not zero in order for it to work. (btw, currently trying the check disk fix and it's not going well 🥲 it's stuck on stage 4 for a while now

Im mad at myself for not finding this sooner. My Dad said we had to FACTORY RESET. But we got all the important stuff on a memory stick. And the issue is, there's an error as its not going back into my PC!! I had 4 years worth of good memories and stuff :(

try to hold the power button until it shutdown then turn it on again while it still load just tap space bar until it tells "diagnosing pc" then it well lead you to blue window named "startup repair" then follow the instructions from the vid

Oh my gosh thank you! All I had to do was boot and configure the SYSTEM partition into a separate letter Volume. I believe the previous windows application was found, fixed and rebuilt into that volume and I was able to get back to my laptop running back on Windows 10! Thank you from someone who 1. Accidentally updated to Windows 11 2. See that 11 screwed and slowed down my laptop 3. Tried to go back to Windows 10, but ended up being in the previous version loop 4. Did the Boot Configuration step here and now feeles stress free...for now until Windows somehow stresses me over again
on the last one you said if the numbers dont show up or anything turn off the thingy and go back to advanced options. Like okay? I did then what just be there?
The issue is you don't have backup files probably because they were turned off at some point, and you are pretty screwed in this regard. You can't overwrite files with files you don't have.
At about 9:50, you mention if the registery files display 0 instead of values, one has to return to the advanced tools. My system shows "0" and I tried the other suggestions in the video without success. Any further suggestions?
Hi there, at around 8:38 you say to make sure there are 5 files with data values to copy and if there aren't you should return to advanced option. But what do you do after that ? To ensure those files are then there
You should, you could probably end up causing more harm then good so just return back. I would recommend taking it to someone if it doesn’t work after you’ve tried all the different repair methods it could be something with you RAM or the inner parts of your computer
Install new win 10 or 11 you are having After creating a bootable pen drive you insert in your laptop. And then select the pen drive as boot option and then click next and then repair your computer setting there you go .

@@davidschmidt6013 it actually only worked to get my computer back to running. It still shows the warning when turning off my computer. I had computer techs look at in and they've had no idea why it's happening or how to correct it

Well i was trynna play gta 5 then i got a BSOD for tdr loke 2 times so i downloaded a microsoft app to update all my drives it updated everything but then opera GX which has all my passwords couldn't open so i couldn't log into steam or epic or rockstar so i tried reg restore then deleted the latest quality update coz u know... Microsoft is Microsoft... Anyway shut happened n now I'm trapped in the infinite BSOD of auto repair buh i can't even find my administrator account in all this

I can’t get passed AUTOMATIC REPAIR screen..
try to hold the power button until it shutdown then turn it on again while it still load just tap space bar until it tells "diagnosing pc" then it well lead you to blue window named "startup repair" then follow the instructions from the vid
It just says automatic repair then goes to a black screen

Oh my gosh thank you! All I had to do was boot and configure the SYSTEM partition into a separate letter Volume. I believe the previous windows application was found, fixed and rebuilt into that volume and I was able to get back to my laptop running back on Windows 10!

2. See that 11 screwed and slowed down my laptop
3. Tried to go back to Windows 10, but ended up being in the previous version loop
4. Did the Boot Configuration step here and now feeles stress free...for now until Windows somehow stresses me over again

The issue is you don't have backup files probably because they were turned off at some point, and you are pretty screwed in this regard. You can't overwrite files with files you don't have.
At about 9:50, you mention if the registery files display 0 instead of values, one has to return to the advanced tools. My system shows "0" and I tried the other suggestions in the video without success. Any further suggestions?

You should, you could probably end up causing more harm then good so just return back. I would recommend taking it to someone if it doesn’t work after you’ve tried all the different repair methods it could be something with you RAM or the inner parts of your computer
If you don't have the five files, you need to try another fix. That's what he means.

Install new win 10 or 11 you are having
After creating a bootable pen drive you insert in your laptop. And then select the pen drive as boot option and then click next and then repair your computer setting there you go .
