Very helpful, Guillaume! Months ago I configured the card inputs and haven't needed to touch it since. But last night I was recording the rehearsal and when the band left I was playing it back to fine tune some EQ and effects and found out that ch31 and ch32 had been recording a stereo mix instead of the instruments that I thought were assigned. I couldn't remember how to route to the card since each new setup I have always just routed each channel with the same source number and card number for alternate and that always worked.
Since the early days of the desk I have been using two SD cards with 128 GB each. The problem is, these cards need to be formatted externally. The console can only format 32 GB. I've never had any problems with the cards. Greatings from Germany.
Morning, great videos. I'm thoroughly enjoying and learning more about my Wing as a result of your support. Is it possible to advice how to setup and record a microphone input from the Wing into a dedicated USB channel in a date (Cubase). I use the Wing as an audio interface and date controller. 👍🎶
Congratulations, your video is very good.. it taught me a lot, let me ask you something... Can I record already with processing through the UBS cable to Reaper?
Thanks for the tutorial. I am having an issue where only one WAV file is being generated on my SD card. I can see the levels for all 32 channels, both while recording and during playback on the Wing. But, when I open the SD card in Windows, there is only one WAV file. Can anybody help? Thank you.
Hi 👋 How big is your file? It can be normal if you have Hours of recording. If you only have 1 or 2 hours of 32 tracks WAV, it should only take a few minutes. Do a speed test on your SD card ( blackmagic disk speed test ) and see if it read at the advertise speeds of your card.
@@GuillaumeLortie Right, so if I have a User Signal for vocal, but the reverb is all coming from a reverb bus, then the user signal of the vocal would have no reverb, right? And I would have to bring each fax bus in as a user signal? Thanks, by the way!
@@splodge9 a User Signal will send all the processing of the Chanel. If your channel has no reverb on insert ( like you seems to do ) if you want to grab that reverb, you will need to use 1 or 2 ( for stereo ) user out for that. For bus, I suggest you to just send them to your usb out and keep your User Out for channels. I would also recommend to use Plugins reverb for your DAW for better control.
I hope you could reply to this. when I record I can't hear my play back. There is a signal that comes out, but I can't hear anything coming out of my monitor speakers.

Hi 👋
You can with the User Signal
I have a video on that
@@GuillaumeLortie Can you send me the link here so I can see it?
Now that we are set to record, can you create a video to show how to play it back?
Cool thx for this vid!
Glad you liked it!
can you do also multitrack on the SD ?? and how so keeping adding tracks
it’s a one shoot deal, you can’t ( easily) overdub and layer tracks.
it’s made to record live shows

Hi Sheldon 👋
You need to open it in a DAW and split the 32 Chanel WAV fils into multiple 1 channel WAV.
@@GuillaumeLortie you are the best!
Same here 😢
@@GuillaumeLortiewhich DAW I have to use in order to split the wav file? It would be helpful if you answer that 😊
@@DigitalDust119 anything will do, Reaper or logic work just fine
Thank you. Any idea why my SD card recordings will be split automatically into a seconds file after about 1 hour or so of continuous recording?
The File has a maximum total amount.
Just like them up in your DAW and you’re good to go
Hi just checking is it normal for the SD folder transfer to DAW to take a while to transfer? I’m almost at 2 hours soo far 😬 using a 2021 M1 too

Does User Signal also take all the bus sends? Or you’d need to also record the actual buses?
You can send a bus into a User Signal

@@GuillaumeLortie this is for sending to DP48 monitor mix, not for DAW. But thanks!
Bonjour guillaume, peut-on retravailler les fichiers multipistes de la carte SD enregistré par la Wing sur un PC avec un logiciel DAW facilement ?
oui, simplement ouvrir le ficher WAV à 32 canaux avec un DAW

Can you give me more information about your setup?
@@GuillaumeLortie i figured it out. I alternated my sound to wlive and now I could hear my playback on my SD card.
You didn’t show how to format the USB,!
please check my other video about the SD, it’s there
