    Very informative video. I am learning a lot. Do I need OBS or software to stream? Can I choose from RUclips the Wing as audio? Does OBS make the audio sound better than just choosing straight from RUclips? Thanks a tons.

      Hi 👋
      First, thanks for watching!
      You don’t need OBS, you can simply select the wing as your audio interface on RUclips, the only thing is that you are limited in control options and camera switching.
      Whatever is gonna be send form USB 1-2 is gonna be sent to RUclips.

    Is this jack useful for mixing and modifying audio in Pro Tools?

    Hey @guilllaume. I was trying to mix in realtime all the channels from my wing using Logic. Now I want to send back the main mix from logic to one of the bus out in my Wing via usb. Can you help me with that. Thanks.

    14:21 On that "camera" option on facebook is that using the camera and audio input devices directly?

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  5 месяцев назад

      It a direct input for your device. That where you decide what’s going to be used for the stream

    We are to the wing. We have an ipad for use to control the house and i use main 3 for the live stream on the board. For some reason i lost the ability to control the entire live stream feed and individual feeds to the livestream. Same problem with the foyer feed. Thoughts?

      I can’t see why it would do that if you didn’t change the Main bus setup or your iPad has lost connection??
      🤔🤔🤔

      When u use bus 9 for broadcast confirm you are using main feed sent to bus 9. Then I can send that out to my live stream, which I have going out locals to our production room connection.

    Hi Guill. Me again. 😊 Question on the limiter. I see you are using it on the Main Mix. I am using a bus to send my live stream but I get no signal on the limiter. I am guessing because on the bus the limiter is above the main sends, where on your example it is below the main sends. How can I make the limiter work on a bus? Thanks 🙏

      Hi 👋
      Insert it the same way I did on the Main, it should react exactly the same way.
      Make sure you send enough level into it.

    Loved the video, the only thing I’m having difficulty with is getting my effects that I’m using on FOH to also be heard on the livestream. At present I’m mixing FOH, then post fader mix to a stereo bus, then route that to a stereo Matrix so l can delay the audio if needed and add more adjustments. But if l add say reverb for drums on FOH I’m not picking that up on the livestream. But all other adjustments l do say bring up the main mic in FOH also does the same on the livestream which works perfectly, just not with effects.

      Hi Jonathan
      make sure you send your effect bus into your live stream stereo bus.
      Bus 1-8 can be send into all other bus.
      an easy way to achieve the same results with more options would be to use one of your other Main for your live stream, it’s a post fader stereo bus but anything can be send into the 4 Main Bus, witch can also be send to any matrix
      hope that helps!
      thanks for watching and Subscribe

      @@GuillaumeLortie I’ll try moving my effects to one of those buses. I have them on 14,15&16. I did send it faders and added them to the live stream bus l think… but I’ll try moving them and see if that works.

      @@JonathanLaingUK I'd suggest you add the FX on Aux in channel between 1 -8 and send that channel into the Livestream bus since you can't send a bus into another bus so the proper way to work around this would be to select the source for a channel to be the FX bus and than send it into your Livestream bus

    Very good video my friend , I am livestream from wing to atem mini , I want to upgrade the sound, I want to run logic to the livestream I also have have an x32 producer, how you recommend me doing it?

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  3 года назад

      can't you use the X32 to send to your broadcast ?
      if your WING is not dedicated to the live stream, a X32 that get the signal form the WING would do you well, you can apply the same mastering rules on the X32.
      a Logic session will also work but it will be more difficult to make quick mix move.
      good luck !
