So all the effects are single use? For example, If I use a reverb I like on a bus then I can't use that same reverb on another bus with different settings. Is that correct?

Not sure if you'll see this, but my issue is playing back stereo channels. I set a channel to stereo for, let's say, a synth, but I can only set the left or right to the same channel strip as an alt. If I select stereo, it takes two channel strips in the alt mode instead of the one in the main mode. Am I missing something?

Love your videos. I just got my Wing a few days ago. I have used X32C and XR18s. I loaded the latest firmware and re-installed the Edit app on my macbook pro, which also has the latest updates. The Edit shows the Wing and connects, immediately, asked to sychronises and immediately disconnects, giving a disconnect message. This messaging continues round and round until I close out of edit. I went on FB wing group and hadn't got answers. Fyi, The wing copilot and mixing station connects with Ipad with no problems. Thanks!

Thanks for this info, subscribed! I figured out how to translate this to the Wing Rack (same concept, slightly different path). Now if I can just figure out how to get a tap tempo button into Wing Copilot or Edit, I'll be set!

It would be interesting to review WiFi monitoring systems, especially if there're 5G versions. We have xvive u4, but it's so limited and losing signal easily.

Hidden 3.0 feature - on Wing Home Screen with icons down left side, bottom icon is the SENDS button showing 16 bus sends for selected channel … if you press SENDS button a second time, it will show MATRIX sends. It will toggle between bus and matrix sends. Not obvious but makes sense. Thanks for great videos - pro audio is not a job,it’s a way of life. Keep the faith my friend. I owned the KZ CRN Crinacle IEM, which costed around EUR 35 one year ago. They sounded really open: A nice warm and beefy bass, slightly scooped mids and very well extended highs. Quite liked them, but for some reason they failed on me after about 6 months, unfortunately. Now I use the Yinyoo KZ ZAS IEM. Those advertise to have 7 balanced armature drivers and 1 dynamic driver per side. These IEM costed me EUR 85 and sound absolutely amazing. Hopefully these last longer. I believe the overall sound quality of KZ is pretty neat giving it's average price, but the build quality could be way better. If they were to improve that, they might win ground really fast in the IEM industry.

I'm about to sell my DN32 Dante Expansion Card, so I'm tempted to think it would be possible to save extra money if I could recycle it into the Wing with a simple firmware update…

Thank you so much for explaining what this is and how to use it. At first, I was hoping that this was an additional 24 user signals, but alas, no one for seeable use is crowd mics. I have two crowd mics on my stage one on the AES 50 a side and one on the AES 50 B side, this would at least allow me to put them as a left and right pair so I guess that’s useful. I will say that something that makes me very frustrated on the wing is the lack of direct channels or what they call user signal. On the Behringer 32 we had up to 40 direct out from channels that you could select various tap points, apparently on the wing you only have 24 which seems very surprising to me. This is the one area where the 32 outshines the wing.

I’ve been trying to reset my wing to factory settings using the initialise function but whenever I power on the mixer it loads my previous setup. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Some of the channels that already had the compact and rack are not near as experienced as you. One guy doesn't even have any technical concept of how simple things work and is more in the armature level but yet he gets gear and you do not? Makes no since.

The RE20. It was mu go to kick mic since the 80's. Don't use it live much anymore but still have used it for recordings. Awesome kick mic that not alot of newer engineers even know about.

25:42 - In firmware versions prior to 3.0, it was possible to assign any channel to talkback, rather than selecting a preset channel via the mixer settings.

To modernize your 'grey' wing, you could try to find someone who could create a vinyl wrapping ( sticker) to overlay the wing control surface. The dimensional drawing is available for download, only the text is missing. I'm thinking about using the midas blue color for that to create a 'Ming' 🤔
