hi amanda .. it's fantastic the way you point out needle on the right stitch we have to work... you can't imagine how it makes all the diference to beginners as me... understanding becomes easier. . I wish you nice days 🙏🏻🤗
As always, thank you for clear explanation! I love that you don't rush at any point, especially towards the end and you always point out where we're going with stitches that are easily covered up and finally exactly how many stitches we'll end up with on each side. I've been crocheting many years and get annoyed at how many UTube teacher's have areas where they go way slow at the beginning and rush the final details. If I have a problem with that,, I see why a less experienced crocheror would just give up!. I actually took a local class in person when I restarted crocheting 4 or 5 years ago. The class started with 15 or more people who wanted to crochet and by the last week only 3 people were left! One woman actually left crying! I felt so bad for those students and It's my guess they never tried again! I wish there had been someone like you with the patience and foresight to see where people struggle so they can be successful! Crocheting can be the best "meditation" in this crazy world! Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me feedback, I really appreciate it! 🥰 Crochet is such a wonderful pastime and is a great de-stressor too... it's a real shame that so few of that class stayed on until the end. I'm glad you enjoy my tutorials, I do try to make them as in-depth and clear as possible 💞
Wonderful Comment, Kathy, I feel the same way about crochet tutorials. Amanda, you are an amazing teacher and your patterns are both beautiful and easy to follow. Many thanks, MaryAnne in New Mexico 👍💜🏜️
Thank you so much for this!!! I’ve been terrified of joining squares because I could never find a video that explained how to join more than just two. This is so incredibly helpful and I feel fully equipped to finish off the blanket I’ve been working on!
I am very glad to know that this tutorial helped you and it is very good to know. I hope you can now tackle joining the squares of your blanket! Thank you very much Raya 🥰
Hi Amanda, I love all of your videos and this one is fantastic for a beginner like me. It is just the right speed for me to follow along without getting lost. You point out all the things that could easily confuse a beginner too. Thank you for making all of these for us.
Great detailed tutorial. Thanks so much! I’ve been searching for a tutorial that shows the whole process of stitching squares together. This is perfect!❤
Thank you very much for this. It is much easier for me to learn by watching the technique rather than reading it off the page. You work slowly enough for me to follow... And your voice is also very soothing!😊
Dear Amanda! I’m still amazed how exact and clearly you show every stich! I have watched many different videos, as I mentioned before, but you are the best in my opinion!! 😊 I have done all the bunny squares and now it’s time to seam them. Just wonderful how you show it here!!!!!! You are a special lady!!! Keep doing it the same way please. ❤❤❤
Finished seaming last night, Amanda! It is beautiful. It took me a few hours but it's worth it!! I had the blanket layed out over my ping-pong table lol. Yes I have made progress thanks to you!! I have to crochet every night since one year now!!! I'm hooked on the hook!! I love doing the baby stuff the most, but I also made toys ( snowman, reindeer, sheep...) slippers for the family, hats, scarfs... Now my daughter wants a cardigan! So funny, I had no idea I was working on another one of your blankets until I opened this video and heard your voice! You helped me crochet my very first baby blanket, and now you’re helping me crochet my second one - the paisley pattern. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you’ve put into helping strangers like me learn! 🩷
After watching your videos, I realize how terrible I am at crochet. Your blankets are beautiful. I am obsessed with that teddy bear blanket. Obsessed. Subscribed!

Thank you so much. You really explain everything perfectly. Your voice is very calming. I’m so glad I found your tutorial on how to join granny squares because everyone else seem to be going too fast for me…. Thank you 🙏
Thank you. This is the best tutorial for this method of joining. Your video is very clear and your written and picture tutorial is also excellent, Very well spoken, written and pictured. Thank you again. I have now used this method on a large blanket.

Thank you so much for showing the loops clearly! As a beginner, i struggle with finding which loop i'm supposed to insert the hook. Your videos help so much ❤
Thank you for your reply. I’ve now finished the main body of the blanket (pink with dark rose teddy, looks so pretty I think) and used both chain loops at the beginning and end of the joining of the squares (at #1 and #5 square). I think you’re right about it not making much of a difference with my method in hoping to make it straighter. The basic body still looks a little curved but I’m sure after the border it will look just fine. I so love this pattern that I kept crocheting any free minute I had and worked it up much faster than what I usually do with my other projects. Thank you so much, your instructions are really excellent.
Your yarn colors are completely my taste. I love the pink flowers (peonies?) on the white blanket, and the lovely shade of blue that you demonstrated your seams on. Thank you for a very instructional video. Your directions are clear and you show exactly what you are doing. And I loved the colors, as a bonus.
This is very useful, I'm just about to join 4 granny squares for a cushion cover and wanted a flat seam. I'll definitely use this method on the front (it's one where the corners tuck around the back to form the cover) Thanks for a very clear tutorial 💚
Your voice is soothing U explain things very slowly and precisely and wonderfully easy to follow So many rush through the pattern so I love your instructions. Keep it up
Thank you so much for explaining each back loop to slip stitch into with such patience. I have watched other videos on here and they go much too fast and do not show the stitches so close up as you do. I am a perfectionist and have been learning crochet this year. I have just subscribed to your channel because you such an amazing teacher. Thank you sooo much 💕

Just found your channel and have liked and subscribed. I love how slow, clear and detailed you are in describing the steps in joining the squares! Thank you so much for making and sharing this tutorial. I just made a throw with granny squares (my first time ever) and will use your method to join them. It's a gift for my adult daughter. Thanks again!

Hello Olivia, thank you for your feedback and I'm pleased to know that this tutorial is providing some comfort for you... I find watching knit and crochet tutorials very relaxing myself! 🤗 I hope that you have a lovely weekend and you have something fun / relaxing on your hook at the moment ❤️
I love and appreciate your tutorials. You are very thorough, explain things so well. You also walk us through every step. I have made the Teddy Bear one in pink and now making one in blue for any future grandbabies I may have. Now i want to make this white one with 3d pink flowers. I am very visual learner and i need detailed instructions, which you give. If a pattern tells me stich in a multiple of ex 3 plus 1 - i will end up making project either too big or small. Thank you again. I also cant wait to make the onesie and booties that go with teddy bear and then i will attempt this flower one.
Great tutorial! I've watch a few others for this method from my favourite YT crochet channels, but found this one to be the best. Informative, well-explained and even better demonstrated so one knows exactly what to do at all stages of the process, from beginning to end.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm starting a big blanket project, and I'll definitely be using this technique to join my squares together. Thank you for sharing.
hi amanda ! great tutorial.. it'll help me so mych when I finish my teddy bear blanket , because join squares scares me 😂, but now I feel confidence on it 🙏🏻
I never used to particularly enjoy joining my squares either... until I discovered this technique! Just make sure that all your stitches are lined up and the working yarn is at the back of your work and you'll be fine 😊👍
I’m doing a sunflower like design, after I finished the round, I did these petals around it, this would a great way to connect them. With the granny squares you could do multiple colors to add more of an accent.
Your directions are so easy to follow here. I've been looking for this stitch and I'm so glad I found you. Thank you for your excellent instruction. And you nails are so pretty!
Amanda thank you very much for this beautiful granny square tutorial😍I enjoyed making this blanket for the first time I ever made blanket. Became grandma last July and wanted to make very cute & special blanket for my granddaughter. Fell in love with your blanket wasn’t sure if pink would look nice in this. OMG I was so happy with the end results. My daughter loves it. All the nurses fell in love with it. I have directed lots of people to you. Thank you for such a clear video & teaching . You are very welcome! 🤗 I'm so pleased that you're happy with the finished result. I love this way of seaming too.. it's very satisfying! 💝
Excellent demonstration. I was able to see exactly where I needed to insert my hook for each stitch. Thank you so much!

You're very welcome, Lexy! ☺️ Glad you found it helpful! 🌷
I also cant wait to make the onesie and booties that go with teddy bear and then i will attempt this flower one.
bravissima e che chiarezza nelle spiegazioni, complimenti. Grazie
Mi fa piacere che tu abbia trovato utile il tutorial 💖

Great tutorial! I've watch a few others for this method from my favourite YT crochet channels, but found this one to be the best. Informative, well-explained and even better demonstrated so one knows exactly what to do at all stages of the process, from beginning to end.

I never used to particularly enjoy joining my squares either... until I discovered this technique! Just make sure that all your stitches are lined up and the working yarn is at the back of your work and you'll be fine 😊👍
I just learned how to make flowers like that. I’m making a purse with rose granny squares. It’s a fun & easy pattern. They look lovely on the blanket.

I’m doing a sunflower like design, after I finished the round, I did these petals around it, this would a great way to connect them. With the granny squares you could do multiple colors to add more of an accent.
