One state in Tue U.S. have corrosive control laws. Only one.I saw in te other comment here (in a reply) that these types of abusers will resort to stalking as well.I can vouch for that.
Hi. Emotional abuse and coercive control was covered In Federal law. But one administration did change the definition of domestic abuse so that it basically removed emotional abuse and coercive control as a crime on the federal level. It is now left up to individual states to decide local laws. This was a massive step back.
I'm going through this now. I think I'm going to move to the other side of the moon.
Hi. Thank you for sharing. Sorry that you are experiencing coercive control. It’s a very destructive situation and if you can safely get out, it is often your best long term option. Just note that abusers like this often react with violence and stalking when they lose control. Please put a safety plan in place when you do leave.
@@NarcissisticAbuseHealing I walked away from the covert narcissist and I don't want anything to do with him. He kept trying to make me doubt myself and wouldn't stop gaslighting me. Standing there right in front of me. Enough is enough.
