The two tricksters were perfect buffoons! The woman was gorgeous but also a trickster in her own right. William Hartnell appears later; a stalwart actor. Just a fun British film for a lazy afternoon and in this case, the day before Christmas Eve. Gently enjoyable!
The Commander, Richard Murdoch was also in the Radio Comedies - Much Binding in the Marsh, and The Men From the Ministry. Both are regularly heard on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
I guess "Grandfather" never told Susan what he did during the day whilst she was at school. I wonder if that vacant lot the tardis was in, was close to Grannies. And did Grannies also make Jelly Babies?

Thanks. That was a nice silly bit of fun.
It was lovely to see William Hartnell, too.
00:45 - yes, free bed and breakfast for three years - sounds a dream, these days.
