These amps are so insanely tweakable and fundamentally awesome that you could most certainly find a way to indistinguishably replicate whatever sound and response you like on one these on the other. Have the BE100 Deluxe and a wildwood smallbox and can find pretty much any of the tones on either amp that would pass a blind test. They are just so damn good and musical.

Both sound Awesome. I was thinking with some bass and thump knob adjustment the Deluxe could get very similar to the SS eq wise? Give it more girth and body which the SS seems to have.
Yeah or flip the front switches a little. But the ss just sounds meaner and is easier to play, cleans are amazing too. Also SS has more gain
The way the eq's are adjusted for each amp right now the SS would be my pick

I have the BE-100 Deluxe and damn the SS-100 sounds amazing! There is more bite on it compared to the deluxe but oh well both amps are damn good.
Yeah I like the SS a bit more, voiced like my favorite plexi and the cleans are amazing

They both sound awesome. If I had to pick one here, I'd say BE100 deluxe. Is that a greenback speaker? I'd be curious to hear them compared through a V30 as well.

Both sounded awesome!! From these clips, the 100 deluxe has more sizzle to the tone. The SS+ sounds more vintage with that high gain plexi tone.
Yeah different mids, I prefer the BE for more classic tones

Does the ssv2 have more compression than the first one? I kinda want to say it does but idk.
I haven't played the first one, but there is a video comparing it. I think it does have more gain, so maybe more compression on gain channels
Ok, yeah I like where the midrange is for this amp. Something about the punchyness of it felt more in your face than what Iv heard from the original. Tough to say though , seemed to sing a lil more, more immediate to me from what Iv heard.
Do you NOT have the C45 ON on the BE Deluxe? what about the SAT?
No switches engaged on either amp. Except bright clean. I did make a video of sat switch be vs ss 100. Will post soon.

If these are both set exactly same EQ, then my pick is the SS. The BE is a bit glassy
Jake E Lee 100 watt amp destroys both in my opinion
The SS sounds more open and brighter, but less fizzy on the top end at the same time. Voiced like a really good Marshall with more gain. I pick the SS v2.

Both great. Considering that Friedman has more gain than Marshall, I would be interested in a comparison between a Friedman (without pedals) and a Plexi (with an OD pedal). Friedman amps are accused of not being as open and raw as a Plexi, but actually if you put an OD pedal on a Marshall is the result better than a Friedman?

Is the Ratt SS missing?
What do you mean?
@@HollywoodRareGuitars At the end, you only play Ratt through the BE and not through the SS. Everywhere else, you play song excerpts through each amp. That implies there is a missing clip of Ratt through the SS amp.
