You‘re one of very few musicians who actually make stuff sound great. You know what a good tone has to sound like and show the best you can get out of the gear. I really appreciate that. Most demos on RUclips sound like shit and I can‘t watch them for more than a few seconds. It‘s either the lack good recording gear or just that the people have no ears at all. I don‘t know, but I always love your tones. Thanks Rabea! 🙏
Dave certainly know's how to make some of the most tonally versatile amps! Unbelievable tonal variations from a kind of base 'British' style classic amp. It's basically every modded Marshall all the rock and metal players wanted back in the 80's. Just wish I had the bank balance for one! Great vid Rabea!
That's THE amp, been saving up for this for the last few months since I've tried it at NAMM, definitely next level stuff! Sounding killer as usual dude!🔥🔥
Friedman make such awesome amps, got the dirty shirley and although they're expensive the tone you can get when paired with a good Les Paul is unbeatable
Dave makes the best amps around at the moment and you Rabea certainly made this BE100 Deluxe sound amazing, great demo mate. Dave built me a custom Runt 20 and his customer service is 10/10!
Friedman should do a signature amp designed with you, they should call it the Friendman BEA50. A two channel, 50w high gain amp, one crunch channel that can go almost clean if you want and a high gain lead channel that can slam everyones faces! All that into a lunchbox format like the Kraken 😂 That's just an idea but I think it would be a good idea!
Some of the finest phrasing and killer tones. I NEED one... but cant afford it. Just started uploading guitar videos and you are my biggest inspiration to start uploading! Thanks for all the great vibes and killer playing!
Yeah, not to mention Tosin Abasi literally has a wall of Friedman heads and uses the BE-OD. Pretty sure his Archetype plugin and the Abasi Pathos pedal are modeled after Friedman amps too 😂
Just got one of these (in part because of this great demo). I have to disagree with one thing Bea said though: this amp is definitely capable of djent/prog/modern metal. 👍
@@riverstone5994 I sold the amp because I have some other options that do all the things just as well, but the BE-100D is still the best single amp I've ever used. And yeah. It can do the Djent thing.
This is a really great demo of the amp. It’s a good balance of verbal description and actual playing. It’s a great sounding amp and it sounds great to hear a good player on it with a versatile musical vocabulary. Thank you!
Is a terrible demo of the amp numbnuts. If you use a load box and IRs, its no longer the amp is it? The playing is good, but the amp demo is not the amp he's playing.
Mine just came last week. Absolute killer amp. Had a SmallBox 50 and Dirty Shirley. Gonna sell the SB50 since the BE100 Deluxe has a Plexi channel. Love Dave’s amps!

Great Review. I played this amp once through a mystery Marshall cabinet at the store. The Plexi channel was amazing and the effects loop was super transparent. Probably the best transparency on an effects loop I have ever come across. I have the Bogner Helios which is in the same ball park, but I prefer the heavier distortions of the Bogner from the more refined Friedman be/hbe channels. The distortion is very high caliber and very slick where the Bogner tends to be a little bit more wild and loose in its character. That being said, this is a phenomenal amp and one that can do most things. The Plexi channel is probably one of the best channels in an amp that I have heard and I often think about it. I played the small box in the same session and the plexi channel of the be 100 deluxe has a higher threshold of tone shaping with all of the additional toggles. It is amazing and the review here is outstanding. Great playing too! Les paul indeed!
Rabea is insanely talented. Some guitarists just don't seem to have to try, blues to funk to rock to a bit of shred in seconds without breaking sweat. Gear review is great but the talent's what always stands out on his vids.
When you switch to the high gain at 19:40 and start chugging away I fully expected the paint to blister off the walls 🔥That sound, holy shit! It's the sound I hear in my head when I think of the perfect saturated and compressed tone. How much is a kidney going for on the black market these days? Because selling one is the only way I could afford this amp. But that's why God gave us two 😂
Great demo Rabea ( as always ) !!! Friedmans always seem to have this intangible thing about them ,, its a 3 dimensional vibe that I dont really get when comparing other amplifier's out there right now ,, I had the opportunity to try out the new Mini BE ,, wow ,, youve got to get one and give it a rip. Needless to say at under $ 400 it now sits on my recording desk ,, back to this amp ,, I think its hands down the best amp out there for cleans to rock to heavy rock to metal etc etc etc .. hard to beat this one guys ! Thanks again Rabea !!
Great video as usual and that amp sounds awesome! Took away some pointers and applied them to the Placater model on the Helix, really helped dial that model in so thanks!

This amp would be an absolutely wonderful studio tool. It seems like you can get basically ANY sound and response out of this amp. Even sounds that have not been demo'ed in this vid i'm sure are in there. Honestly, i bet most players / groups would be able to rely just on this one amp, and then add in what ever outboard effects are required .... which in the long run would save a lot of money. So, look at the price of the amp from this perspective.
My local GC had a used Friedman Runt 50 that just grabbed me by the Boo Boo and never let go. I own it now. When amp shopping, I always try to take my guitar with me so I know EXACTLY what it is going to sound like.
