I love the way bugs uses drag to trick his clueless enemies like these guys, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd. This is one of Robert McKimson 's very best cartoons.
This is one of my favorite cartoons, period! Thanks for the reminder it's McKimson's because it's so good I always keep thinking it's one of Tex Avery's; however it's not really wild enough for one of his!
This is within my ultimate top favorites. I pretty much have the song from the jukebox to the end memorized and have a hard time not singing right along when it comes up on my phone during one of my walks.
My dad used to have the audio for this on his computer in one of his playlists. He’d listen to it while working, and if that tune came on we kids got SO EXCITED and HAD to listen to it. We always wound up laughing!
You see I don't remember this as a kid but I do recall bugs has been known to dress in drag but as a boy you never really got confused of why he was dressed as a girl but just found that it was basically funny. When I saw this vid for the first time I just had to record it somehow and kept it along with my other collection of vids. Bugs bunny is literally my totem animal. I noticed he uses a lot of reverse psychology against those trying to apprehend him. I think this was one of his best work. Whoever decided to create such a character was a total genius!!! :)
Crazy, right? I can't have seen this more than a few times literally decades and decades ago but I still knew every word. It's amazing how certain things just get lodged in our brains forever.
Thank you for sharing this classic. It was fun watching with you. I liked the singing too. The accent was a little bit off, but it was a loving tribute just the same. Thanks Again!
I have never squared danced before. I am so willing to try the dance and do my best to follow the song just like you do. Thank you so much for the reaction
When the cartoon was being made, square dancing was super popular but none of the animators knew how to do it so they all took lessons and their teacher helped them with the calls at the beginning of the song (before Bugs took over). And they ended up liking it so much that a few members formed a square dancing team that competed a few times.
This my first time catching your commentary on Looney tunes, Hillbilly Hare was one of my favorites and you never see it anymore. Miss the good old days of good cartoons you could laugh with
I remember this when I was a kid 40/+ years ago. Hilarious! One thing though that I just noticed….check out Curt and Pumpkinheads beards when they first see Bugs dressed as a woman. They go from hanging down their chests to sticking straight out.😮
That's based on the Hatfield and McCoy Feud my uncle Roy because he lives in West Virginia right on the border of Pennsylvania Ohio and West Virginia. It's kind of funny he just retired as a barge mechanic
@vxy357 , I told people to think for themselves, "test the spirits," and not just follow after the crowd. Study for yourselves, and not just take the word of a preacher, including me.
Probably the todays parents would say these old looney tunes / tom and jerry cartoons are really violent and a dangerous influence to children. But watching these as a little kid saying ow ooh that's got to hurt! actually taught me to never do these things in real life. Especially smoking cigarettes and my parents were smokers back then. But regardless, My eyes would be glued to the tv! 😂
9:01-9:03 Unfortunately, Noel was the only child of the late Mel Blanc (✡️ 1908-1989 ✡️ z"l) and Estelle Rosenbaum(✡️ 1910-2003 z"l ✡️) and sadly to say. Noel doesn't have any children whatsoever to keep up with his late dad's legacy as a character voice actor
I live in Manitoba canada, and let me tell you Saskatchewan had more square dancing and festive functions, i was all for it Manitoba jus doesnt compare to Saskatchewa
This is probably my all-time favorite Bugs Bunny cartoon. Don't know how many times I've seen this since I was a kid (I'm 56 now) but after having seen it 2 or 3 times in the past couple of weeks, I just realized that the frustrated, aggravated groans the bull make remind me of the frustrated groans Cary Grant made dealing with his batty aunts in Arsenic and Old Lace.
The thing is, “All This And Rabbit Stew” is considered racist and banned because it depicts black Americans in a stupid way but when this cartoon shows white Americans as stupid, it gets a pass. Either way, I love them all and I thank you for your video.
make the video of Tom and Jerry flirty episode Bird comments on this episode. in which the mouse managed to join the tom transformed into the bird's wife
I introduced this one to my three year old granddaughter, yesterday. I've never seen her laugh so hard. These old Bugs cartoons are for the ages.
Oh ya, I’m 30 and they’re funnier now
This one still cracks me up! “Trout Trout pretty little trout😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This one is definitely one of my favourites. The square dance tricking the brothers into beating each other up is hilarious.
“Hit ‘em again, that critter ain’t dead”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love the way bugs uses drag to trick his clueless enemies like these guys, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd. This is one of Robert McKimson 's very best cartoons.
Bugs always tries to get himself out of trouble by playing a girl bunny around anyone who tries to get him

While everyone quotes the square dance, I still crack up at the timing of "I think y'all are using too STRONG a fluid.”
too strong a fluid
@@tomw7208 Spellchekc put up a fight letting me type this one.
Sakes Almighty! S’dark in here I can’t see a nothin!
Brings back memories of my childhood. I watched merry melodies every Saturday morning. Mel Blanc was a genius.
This is within my ultimate top favorites. I pretty much have the song from the jukebox to the end memorized and have a hard time not singing right along when it comes up on my phone during one of my walks.
This was one of my favorite episodes that I saw out of order as a kid in the 90's
My dad used to have the audio for this on his computer in one of his playlists. He’d listen to it while working, and if that tune came on we kids got SO EXCITED and HAD to listen to it. We always wound up laughing!
BUgs Bunny poked fun any anyone and anything, if you came after him you only had yourself to blame when he declared war. lol

A True masterpiece
Those lyrics are so complex and fast. Serious amount of thought and writing involved. Like your channel
Wow. After all these years, I still remember all the words to that song. What an excellent use of brain cells. 😏
Crazy, right? I can't have seen this more than a few times literally decades and decades ago but I still knew every word. It's amazing how certain things just get lodged in our brains forever.
1:32 Show of hands. Who then had to continue wuith, "We really mean it! What's... up... Dooooooooc???"
We actually learned square dancing when I was in school when I was younger.
Thank you for sharing this classic. It was fun watching with you. I liked the singing too. The accent was a little bit off, but it was a loving tribute just the same. Thanks Again!
I used to find this funny as heck when I was younger. I so miss these cartoons, they are hard as heck to find due to Warner's purge on old cartoons.
Great reaction to 1 of my favorite Bugs Bunny cartoons Nikachu. That part at the end always makes me lol!🤣😆
All of Bugs Bunny's square dance calling is improvised by Mel Blanc.
It has recently been revealed that the black-bearded hillbilly is named "Cot", short for "Cottonseed", rather than "Curt" as everyone assumed before.
Curt.
I have never squared danced before. I am so willing to try the dance and do my best to follow the song just like you do. Thank you so much for the reaction
Animation director Chuck Jones was actually into Square dancing himself and did illustrations of Bugs and Daffy for Squaredancing publications.
*starts clapping along*
« I can’t help it »
It is a fun rythme

That was a great video and I read that the animators had a great time animating this as well.
That's based on the Hatfield and McCoy Feud my uncle Roy because he lives in West Virginia right on the border of Pennsylvania Ohio and West Virginia. It's kind of funny he just retired as a barge mechanic

This one is the best.
Bugs bunny is so funny i laughed so hard when he disguised as a girl 😂😂
I love your reaction. I will be giving a sermon this Sunday based upon this cartoon "Hillbilly Hare."
Tell me more about this sermon you're giving.
@vxy357 , I told people to think for themselves, "test the spirits," and not just follow after the crowd. Study for yourselves, and not just take the word of a preacher, including me.
Here you is
😁❤️😁 Great rendition of What’s Up Doc, adorable 🥰
Bugs vs Daffy are great cartoons
Probably the todays parents would say these old looney tunes / tom and jerry cartoons are really violent and a dangerous influence to children.

It happens to the best geniuses. Chopin didn't have children, and many more amazing people.
That laugh……Damn you are adorable!
In my opinion of the Looney Tunes characters, Bugs Bunny was always the funniest and was always the best character and protagonist too 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I Love 1940s & 50s Bugs Bunny Toons. Stay Healthy, My Girlfriend. (smile)
Bugs bunny is my favorite. Along with daffy, roadrunner, wile e. , taz, & marvin ✨🐰 🦆 🏜️ 🌪️🚀🪐🛰️🔫
my favorite bugs ever
One of my favorite looneytoons
Actually you have a beautiful voice :-)
Why is the video obstructed with the words MERRIE MELODIES? Could not enjoy the video
Copyright for some reason especially Warner Bros. Discovery
This is Kanes Dad and Kane favorite 😅 Cartoon 😅
I live in Manitoba canada, and let me tell you Saskatchewan had more square dancing and festive functions, i was all for it
Manitoba jus doesnt compare to Saskatchewa
How about reviewing "Bully For Bugs?" It's a personal favorite of mine.
People back then didn't take this seriously
Cool reaction to these classic toons. I have one episode i am sure you'll like its called Fractured Leghorn. Enjoy.
Sam Worthington will play Mel Blanc in a biopic film.
Bugs rapping in 1950, with some hillbillies. Luv it.
Bugs Bunny is actually singing square dance songs.
In the 80s-90s this was definitely treated like rap. Kid and Play did a rendition of this on one of there albums- toon is legendary
Cinderella was released the same year
It is blocked hard to see behind the words. But I enjoyed watching with you.
Copyright reasons that's why
The thing is, “All This And Rabbit Stew” is considered racist and banned because it depicts black Americans in a stupid way but when this cartoon shows white Americans as stupid, it gets a pass. Either way, I love them all and I thank you for your video.
❤
yes, it still bothers me that the black hair has the red hat, and the red hair has the black hat
And, if you notice closely, the red hat has a black hat band, and the black hat has a red hat band!! 😃👍
Damn the censors . If anything I learned what NOT TO DO from loony tunes and helped me see the extremity of the censors.
It's a fiddle 😅 not that big of a difference but yeah
😂😂😂😂
How come she isn't saying this is racist? lol
Search for "napoleon bunny part" another funny bugs bunny episode
make the video of Tom and Jerry flirty episode Bird comments on this episode. in which the mouse managed to join the tom transformed into the bird's wife
It's hard not to laugh with a Bugs Bunny cartoon, specially these old ones. The new ones are barely funny.
Please react to roger rabbit short film
It's hard to watch with it ghosting behind that Merry Melodies logo.
It's because of Copyright Laws.
Oh dear. Lady it’s not that funny. But it is entertaining.
Pls react to more loony toons please watch the gremlin ep pls
Bugs bunny classic just classic u are pretty
Can we be friends
You are pretty
meh
Hey you should watch the episode A pest in the house with daddy duck. It's really funny.
Bugs proves today's rap is not original.
