When the cartoon was being made, square dancing was super popular but none of the animators knew how to do it so they all took lessons and their teacher helped them with the calls at the beginning of the song (before Bugs took over). And they ended up liking it so much that a few members formed a square dancing team that competed a few times.

Inika, if I were an alien, how would people treat me? Would they make fun of the size of my eyes?...or discriminate against me just because of the color of my green skin?
