Nice work! How did your ride quality change with new springs and struts? Mine became a bit too firm, because of gas struts (Sachs brand.) I believe, the original Volvo Sachs struts were oil type. I can feel every bump on the road now, but on the bright side, xc90 corners really well now! Replaced rear shocks as well.
Cheers! Much much smoother ride - the busted shock on the near side had got pretty bad… also the cornering stability is massively improved - the top bearing on the offside was even worse than the one I changed in this vid. A long overdue job - just the rear trailing arm bushings now, and she should be good for another hundred thou!
I was genuinely shocked when I started to add everything up; Looking for a built strut was a last resort, but way cheaper as it turned out… I’ll know to open with that next time - I reckon that is the takeaway with this vid!…

@samgrieg2542 yep - I took a P2 s60 to the quarter mil… this one’s target is 300k!
Crikey - that difference in price!!!!

Encouragement = Linear Impact Driver.. ;-)
The off camera “wiggling around” was a fairly hefty application of the same! 😉
