Im glad someone loves the suits from 08th as much as I do. I know this might seem blasphemous but I kinda prefer the part swapping weapon mount for the back of the skirt to the mechanism that rotates out in MGs. I find it's generally too weak to hold the weapons.
+Erick Avery I've always felt that way about MG hands in general. I much prefer the alternate hand parts of 1/144 kits to the articulated MG hands for the reasons you stated.
+areasevenpro that's actually how they're marketing them. There's a whole page on the Bandai Hobby website dedicated to recent and upcoming GMs right now.
Channel 2S: Gunpla News and Reviews what Are the others? Blue destiny Unit 1 I think but Are there some others anounced yet? I really want a jegan ecoas revive (yea if we get something we ll get the normal jegan and the ecoas type will be p bandai) Also I think that the Old hg nu is a cool Kit but I hope there ll be a ver ka styled hg down the line ^^ maybe even with some clear rods or even a new hg Unicorn mold XD. Oh sry drifted away but as always, great Review looking forward to the next Kit (I think you said something About a hg Astaroth that you havent build yet ;)
Channel 2S: Gunpla News and Reviews white Dingo........ Well wolfes Are better I think I have some grey and white paint left over and finding a simple Wolf shaped Symbol thats easy to replicate with masking tape Shouldnt be to Hard as well... If I Like the mg gm sniper 2 who knows might buy a second one sometime and Do a grey Wolf custom ^^ and as a whole those gm Canons arent that interesting for me, just hope that it wont be the year of the p bandai reissue gm
Wow great review!! Impressive suit. Love the articulation. Recently got the RGM 79 GM EFSF Mass Productive suit and while similar lacking in the waist and hip articulation but only has 1 sticker! But just a laser sword which I had to paint. Wish yours had the light blue color instead of the white as it looks cooler with the pale blue.
im not that big of a GM fan for this looks pretty sweet just like the GM K9 does.my only thing that bugs that not with the RX-79G,GM or EZ8 gundam is the 3 sided missile launcher isn't with any of them and you think it would be with the GM ground at leasr as it was mostly used by them in 08th ms team anime and even the old action figure of the GM ground had it but that the only thing that bugs me about the kit, other then that it awesome and I think I'll pick up a couple when I get 2 of the GM/GM and make a GM mini team with the GM K9 as the leader lol
About the front skirts , you can still seperate it. Just don't sand the nubmarks nor trim them. Did it with the HGUC Victory Gundam and to this day, the front skirts still aren't loose and I don't think they'll ever be.
blaze084 To be quite frank, I haven't tried it yet since I haven't build a HG in at least three years (got the V Gundam during it's release when Gundam Build Fighters was still an on-going series), but I could try it on the next HG I'll get. I'm more of a MG guy (just like jabman025 lol) and I've just gotten back to the hobby with the MG RX-78-2 Gundam 2.0 and the MG Char Zaku II 2.0 (currently building) so yeah... And most of all, I'm broke with no job yet so I'll take quite a while to get my next kit so sorry to disapoint you.
I know what you're going through... I enjoy a good MG too. When I get back on my feet I'm treating myself to a MG GM Sniper II. But to be honest this technique is not limited to HG kits. I hope you find work soon. Good luck!
I’m new to these models, I haven’t built one yet but I’m excited to get into. As a kid I really got into Mobile Suit Gundam especially with it being on Adult Swim at the time. So I was really into the action figures and stuff. Now I’m older I still have the action figures but seeing these models makes me want to build! I have this exact model of gundam in action figure form! I always thought the design was cool and all the function over form that was though of for the design, it’s obviously not real but it adds to the realism. Very curious about this kit now!
I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THIS KIT , WOULD BE FINE ,IF THE FEED CAN BEND THE TIP OF FEED AND THE HEEL CONECTED WITH BALL JOINT ,I THINK IT FUNY WHILE MOVING THIS KIT
You think this has a bad Master Grade ? Being the owner of a MG Ground Gundam (of which the inner frame of the MG Ground GM is based on), it's pretty much one of the best early Master Grades thanks to it's hip gimmick for kneeling poses. Yes, the hands are pretty bad for holding things but with the right fiddling, I'll hold his stuff compared to the MG Wing Zero Custom which pretty much can't hold his Twin Buster Rifle. I may be wrong since both MGs don't share all of the same weapons though.
oh god, after seeing that sideways waist joint, ill hesitate getting this, my second kit, the newest zeta gundam, had that same joint and I hate it. it falls out super easily, and you basically have to take the entire kit apart just to put it back in.
+SyupendousStufful101 Interesting. On my Zeta, the sideways torso joint is fine and it's the more conventional waist ball that pops out frequently. Also, it's worth noting that it's super easy to reconnect the torso on the Ground GM. It just pops back in without you needing to disassemble anything.
TheGhostofChar79 well actually this a remold of the HGUC EZ-8 Mold also Bandai is making HGUC Blue Desiny Unit 01 Revive (its a gundam despite the gm head)
+pixelman619 the sensors and internal systems were built onto a GM Ground Type, and then transferred into a Gundam Ground Type because the GM body couldn't keep up with the new Exam system. The GM head was retained as it housed the sensors for the Exam system.

4 am time for bed oh look a Gundam review
2017 must be the year of the GM, given this kit and the MG GM Sniper II.
+areasevenpro that's actually how they're marketing them. There's a whole page on the Bandai Hobby website dedicated to recent and upcoming GMs right now.

+Steffey the others they showed on that page were the p-bandai MG GM Cannon NA Colors, MG GM II, and MG GM Sniper II White Dingo Team ver.

5:55 I'm questioning my sexuality now lol
Hips don't lie
going to start building UC hg kits later this year. might just start with the gm ground type.
Just picked this kit up, and wow wow it still holds up and looks great with panel lining 😍
Sooo glad I got this kit. Hopefully it doesn't sit in my back log to long. Great review 2S!
+Brian Wood thanks!
Bandai put so much love into this kit. Shame I just am not a big GM fan at all. Can't make it a must have, but definitely an interesting one.
4:29 that GM ground type is doing the hardest DAB of 2017
I am just curious if any other Gunpla Kits use these types of articulation and joints.
Thanks for the video.

No questions, This is the best HG at the start of 2017.
I love the _sassy hips~_

Benoit Viger or just paint these joints or dab some glue around them let that dry and when you pop those front skirts back you'll be good to go!
blaze084 dab -___- XD
How would you go about it with the glue? Just curious.

The most flexible GM ever! Hope he doesn't break.

You should get it, it's really good!
I feel like the torso gap could be resolved with modeling puddy to make a semi-sphere top for the lower torso piece.
+Ryan Walters yeah, that could work.
I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THIS KIT , WOULD BE FINE ,IF THE FEED CAN BEND THE TIP OF FEED AND THE HEEL CONECTED WITH BALL JOINT ,I THINK IT FUNY WHILE MOVING THIS KIT

+Benoit Viger (MechaManiac) it was pretty great when it came out for sure, but it still can't hold a candle to a modern MG.
True
Honestly I know I'm asking for a bit much from bandai considering how much they did with this kit but it wouldn't hurt to have some alternate hands.
So which is more possible, this or the G40 Gundam Industrial type?
you can just hear how he love this kit
Great review! Love the sassy pose.
i dont know if it's an issue with your mic. or just an accent but i love your pronuciation!
dat threehundredshixty degree shwuivel!
+saverio sassetti yeah, I've got a bad habit of slurring my speech a bit while I'm talking, especially if I'm going without a script.
luckly it sounds good!
I ordered one along with the MG GM Sniper. I'm gonna split the skirt armor. #YOLO
Wait if the hguc gundam ground type is based on the gm ground type which is a great kit, then why is the gundam ground type so terrible
I might make a ver. GBF this kit and make it able to deploy a mobile worker from IBO
I must buy this!
You should do a best HG of 2016!
+0ne hammer I already made a best kits of 2016 list.
I'll make sure to go watch it than thanks
The pause here - 2:56 - So creepy. 😵
you should get MG GM Sniper 2 next....
+Jetfire48 already got one!
Channel 2S: Gunpla News and Reviews yaaay ^^ Should recieve Mine in a couple of days it ll be my First Mg
What about the gunpla expo 2017 at hakodate ?
can you split the skirts?
awesome 👍
I'm pretty sure I've seen that waist joint style on other kits. I'm pretty sure. But I smoke a lotta weed so I could be wrong. Lol.
oh god, after seeing that sideways waist joint, ill hesitate getting this, my second kit, the newest zeta gundam, had that same joint and I hate it. it falls out super easily, and you basically have to take the entire kit apart just to put it back in.

yeah, it was bad on the zeta because of the all-over-the-placeiness of the legs and the giant wings on the back
Is there any other good kits u would recommend?
+Salty Alvin anything Origin, the HGUC RX-78-2 Revive ver, HGUC Gundam Mk II Revive ver.
Channel 2S: Gunpla News and Reviews Thanks
Salty Alvin i got some as well HGUC Gouf Custom, HGUC Full armor Gundam 7th, HG Thunderbolt full armor Gundam, HG astraea type f, and etc
Jetfire48 I am actually considering to get a full armor gundam this week, anyways thanks for your recommendation
Jetfire48 I am actually considering to get a full armor gundam this week, anyways thanks for your recommendation
yey
goddamn I want a Gundam remold of this
TheGhostofChar79 well actually this a remold of the HGUC EZ-8 Mold also Bandai is making HGUC Blue Desiny Unit 01 Revive (its a gundam despite the gm head)
+Jetfire48 this is NOT a remold of the Ez8. These two kits share no runners with each other.
you beat me to it...yeah..this isnt the ez-8....and i know about the Blue Destiny..i want a legit Ground Type from this
but can it dab?
Now is just need a sensable blue
I think im just gonna get the original kit cause its only $8
Nails...
you sound exactly like @optibotimus
am I the only who wants a new GM blue destiny
pixelman619 it wasn't a GM.....
Courier 9712 could of swore it was an upgraded GM
+pixelman619 the sensors and internal systems were built onto a GM Ground Type, and then transferred into a Gundam Ground Type because the GM body couldn't keep up with the new Exam system. The GM head was retained as it housed the sensors for the Exam system.
Channel 2S: Gunpla News and Reviews ohh ok I just saw the GM head XD but still I would love a new version of it
FIRST and also AWSOME review
Cozydudew yah
Plain but in a good way
no comments yet?
I will probably end up picking this kit up, but I'll have to paint it. It's color scheme is just awful.
the 00 has better articulation
am I the only who wants a new GM blue destiny
pixelman619 Bandai already hinted that when they previewed this kit last year.
areasevenpro sweet didn't see that
areasevenpro Thats not entirely hinting at thats completely revealing it yo XD
