I absolutely love this lens. My small photo business does a few jobs such as company headshots, yearbooks, sports, etc. this lens usually isn’t the “recommended” lens for such photos, but I find it perfect! I get enough of the uniforms/equipment/ accessories in the shot. This lens, only a few hundred dollars, has made me well over $100k over the life of having this lens. Now that’s a great rate of return if you ask me! I still use the old x-t2 as well. Only upgrades I’ve done is move up from old lights to godox lights.
Thanks for the comment ,wow am i impressed with your rate of return on this lense ,i bought a used copy its a absolutely fantastic lense ,its stays glued on my xt2,awsome Channel you have, you have my sub.😀
@@MoTecZA for work it’s 95% my go to lens! When I shoot events though I use the 56 1.2 lens just for the reach. I love the 35, but a surprising outcome I had was when I used my x100v with the tele conversion lens. I used it one year for a year book shoot. Shot a small high school with about 350 kids. The response I got from that combo was incredible. I had never gotten so many “wows” from kids and their parents from a shoot. I saw a big jump in orders on that years shoot than previous years. There’s just something magical about the x100v images. I shy away from using it in high volume shoots like that though because of the lack of backup card. If it had a secondary slot, I’d probably use that camera exclusively. It’s my everyday camera for small jobs and personal.
I’m glad someone else sees that character the xf35 f2 it has been my favourite lens for the last 5 years I’ve had the 16-55, 35 f1.4 and currently have the 30mm f2.8 and still the 35 f2 is favourite
I think not having "big" lenses can only be an issue with new / amateur photographers, but once you have your portfolio, the clients should be able to see for themselves whether you are good or not despite whatever size your lens is.
I stopped watching when you talked about step up rings. Lol, you are more worried about being judged but the equipment than by your work. Not what I would expect from a professional. Good luck with you looks.

You made my day, can't stop laughing about the step-up rings to make it look bigger 😂😂😂
Lol ,Glad you Liked it. Looks more proportionate that way to my eye😂
What were u putting on the lens in the beginning?
Hi ,In the intro you mean ? If so it was glue ,empty though😊
Very good Lens the size is Perfect. If u are looking for more good lenses, Check out the Sigma 56mm 1.4 and the viltrox 13 mm 1.4.

Size doesn't matter; it depends on the gender. Ask the woman's about the size. Good video btw! 😁😁

@@MoTecZA My girl always prefers my 50-140mm lens because for her big look more promising and professional. 😀

Highly Appreciate the honest Comment.
Size doesn’t matter yet you put so many step up rings and filters so your little tiny lens transforms into a telephoto 😂😂😂
Maybe size does matter🤷🏽♂️😂
