This episode feels like it knows its a cartoon. its like its parodying itself. a lot of the newer season has lines like 2:05 that follow the same rythm as jokes but arent funny enough to be jokes and also could be played straight which makes the execution feel worse.

The planet is smaller because you can see the cities from space. it adds more because they wouldn’t feel as much if the aliens hadn’t looked like them.

I didn't get it at first, but now I do; the spaghetti's so successful that the government had to make their culture depressing and hopeless enough that it would cause enough suicides to keep up with demand.
Honestly, it was morty who revealed to the people that they can be spaghetti, but it was the president who decided to sell out and ruin everyone’s lives.
