I liked this ending a lot. having Zalama at the top is like a call back to Kami from OG Dragonball. Although i think the GP should have been cast out of heaven as punishment for his greed, banished from all upper realms. Then he could have made a new GP or upgraded one of the Angels who stuck around.
It would be fun if he offered it to Whis for training Goku which allowed him to return, only for Whis to politely decline wanting to stay on U7 and Zalama pointing the eldest angel(that little girl) instead as the new GP much like Dende succeeded Kami

I wish they would have had time for something like this. You could already see how poorly the onmiverse was being managed back in the Buu saga. And I remember a scene in Super where Zeno was just rolling actual planets around like marbles and even broke a few on accident/purpose for fun, while the GP just watched deadpan. It would’ve been nice to see everyone up top get put in their place by someone who actually cared about life for once. Plus this story improves on the reason why the angels and destroyers don’t show up anymore at the end of Z, since Zalama is running things proper now, and there would be no more instances of hakaishin waking up from centuries long naps just to visit/destroy planets on a whim or just for a snack.
I never put together that Zeno is the ultimate Destroyer, but it fits very well. We have seen, even in this very arc, that Destroyers are capable of creation as well, so his ability to restore the universes is explained.
It does explain why the structure of the universe and the kais was such a mess. And why the destroyers seemed to be the 'most important' in the balance despite logically that making no sense either.
Wouldn't it be dope if: Goku became the Grand Priest's successor as the ultimate caretaker/protector. Vegeta became Zeno's successor as the ultimate destroyer (not out of maliciousness, but as a duty to maintain balance). Piccolo became Zalama's successor as the ultimate creator. I mean, Goku is already taking the path of the Angels, while Vegeta is taking the path of the G.o.D. It'd be really interesting if Piccolo took the path of the "Dragon" a.k.a the creator. Plus I've always loved the idea of Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo being the monster trio of Dragon Ball lol.
It would but being an angel would go against goku’s core character trait seeing as how angels not only can’t take a side but they can’t use their full power either
At this rate, Zalama might be revealed to be a quirky joke character given the current mindset of Toriyama shilling the hfil out of Goku being the best- eventually surpassing everyone.
Hell the angels are still looking at me. The look that whis gives when gogeta gives off that mushroom cloud against broly, always had me " there's something wrong with that guy" along with other parts later in the manga. I really feel like the angels are going to be a problem later
This was an amazing ending, I love cosmic battles and this would've set up something so much better than what we got, sadly the Writers for Super just didn't have the vision nor time.
Which is exactly why I don't understand why people are in such a rush to get DBS back. OBVIOUSLY, it will be back at some point, but why do people want it back so soon and run the risk of the story and animation being shitty? I like to think that the fact that they're taking so long shows that they actually want to have a comprehensive story.
I really like this! Definitely Avatar-esque with Goku being the conduit for Zalama, and I love the idea of the arrival of the until-then missing third being in this divine trinity, of sorts, finally showing up and owning the field. Amazing work!
It's in the joyable story. Considering that the angels can't go against the universe's self makes this story harder to take. But if this was introduced before we found that out this is a great story. I was switched up the creator going into Piccolo instead of Goku cuz it makes more sense since they're the same race.
Definitely Piccolo being absorbed/fused would make more sense. Plus this might corrupt the god , as Piccolo was originally the the evil discarded by Kami, although now they are fused. So perhaps this does give Piccolo a power boost but also creates the next villain for another story arc.

I really like this. Though to be honest I completely forgot about Goku, and was just hyped that Zalama was a Namekian which shows that the Namekians are far far more than what was presented in the anime thus far. The Namekians have been reduced to support wish granters, and not the powerful yet civil beings we’ve gotten hints to in some of the dragon ball lore as well as some of the well done fan mangas. And also I think it shows that some of the races can become more than what they are currently. May be it’s too much, but I think that some or most of the gods or sub gods should be a member of the races within these universes.

The only addition I’d add is that restoring the status quo actually jump starts reality a bit. Not a total reboot but it reverts back to the end of Z like Goku had a dream. Leading the way to progress a future story with all that Super (or even GT) introduced in a new series.
I like both. But I do wish more was expanded on for the GP's seemingly sinister moments. I say have it end the same, but a new arc reveals that GP fully expected a selfish wish to be made, leading to Zeno wiping out reality. When that didn't happen, he had to rethink things. The other angels have varying degree of acceptance of GP's plan, but all do go along with it, except for eventually Whis and possibly Vados. GP then works to unleash the demon realm across the multiverse, leading to some Xenoverse-like moments. I would even like it if the Supreme Kai of Time intercepted Future Trunks and Future Mai to conscript them in the Time Patrol opposed to allowing two people to exist in the same time period.
Yeah I totally thought there would be some twist. But for some reason I just felt like by the end of the story Zeno and Future Zeno would still be sitting on their thrones.
Honestly, I firmly believe that Zalama (a.k.a. Zarama) should not have only one title (ex. Kaioshin, Supreme Kai of Time, G.o.D.) -- but since he created everything -- he should also seek to destroy. (However, I also personally believe that Zalama did not create evil, and it was only created by a lack of good from within an original fallen angel) He should also be almighty, foreknowing, and omnipresent (omnipresent in a countless amount of ways -- since he did indeed create the strings of the multiverse of Dragon Ball afterall)
I'm so here for this I can't wait to hear this Edit. This was perfect. It would've opened so many doors that should be open and answer questions that should've been answered all while staying with in the "rules and bounds" aaand explains why he was obviously soumding possessed when he 1st was going into UI with that crazy voice change AAAND MOST OF ALL MAKING PICOLLO RELEVANT AGAIN (by default) this is why there's nothing better than a perfect what if, when it's this well done and fit so perfectly it's no longer a "what if" it's now a "should've been" (IMHO) cheers you absolute fn legend 🍻🍻💘💝💪💪👌👍👍👍
The Grand Priest should be removed from his role, and I honestly don't trust any of his children to take his place. Goku is going down the Angelic path, but he's too concerned with fighting to be a good caretaker. Now, if he convinced Gohan to take up god ki and pursuit of the Angelic powerset...
Just finished watch the video. Really interesting ideas. I like em. Yeah i wish they would of expanded on Zalama a bit more. Perhaps theyre going to? i have no idea. But i like the thought of Actions and Consequences. A bit more Z like would be good. Especially the art and animation style would be good..
Hmm. Interesting take, but I would have done four things different. I would have tied Goku's initial reaction to Beerus (the instinctive dodge he did waaaaaay back in episode 5 when he was sparring in SSJ3) to this. Make it official that he was (on a very surface level) tapping into Ultra Instinct even back then, and that that brush with UI was what initially caught Zalama's attention. More than that, I'd establish the SSJG ritual as a Zalama thing, something he bestowed to the Saiyan race as a last resort if the divine hierarchy ever got out of whack. And in this manner, all of DBS would be one whole plot. I'd have had a guest star appearance by the Supreme Kai of Time. One, to make her canonical. Two, to tie her existence to the presence of two Omni-Kings (not by making her responsible for Zamasu's actions specifically, but by making her the source of the Time Rings in the first place), since two Omni-Kings is one of the reasons why Zalama felt the need to come back. (And yes, the script would need a few passes for this part to play nice with everything else.) The Kaioshins were originally fruits plucked from some kind of divine tree (I think; this was a piece of world-building from a while ago that never went everywhere). I'd have done something to bring that to fruition. And finally (and this really ties into the first thing), I would have brought up the ancient evil that Bibidi fashioned into Majin Buu as the first example of the messed up divine hierarchy (and since Goku finally finished Buu off and wished for him to be brought back as a good person, maybe this was what initially drew Zalama's attention instead). And in so doing, tie DBZ to DBS. Granted, some of this is going into rewriting DBS entirely, rather than just the ending.
I think the only thing that would of been just slightly better is if plot twist Gohan heard him instead when in his ultimate form. Thus ending it like they wanted originally. With Gohan taking the reigns and showing his purpose.
You should combine this with the ending of "What if Frieza became a god of destruction, where becomes the one omni king. Imagine Zalama and Frieza remaking the world how it was supposed to be.
I like in bringing lore into the dbs universe but I feel like it does takeaway that it was goku who achieved and earned ultra instinct instead been given and possessed by a god at the end but I love that end frieza and goku part it was epic especially showing goku not beating someone by himself
I think it would be interesting if DBZ went this route. After the tournament ends GP and Zeno say that they aren't the most powerful beings.The King makes them look like specs of dust in the wind. The true King has recently been awakened from his slumber, but he isn't as active as he was before it. They say the real reason for the tournament was trying to make him happy, as in the past he always said those tournaments on Earth in universe 7 were a favorite of his. Say that they are afraid that the real God plans on abandoning them and appoint some other being to take over or worse, that his time is running short and they fear he and everything will be gone forever. Have real fear on their faces during this conversation. Either the tournament awakens his excitement or if the winner made a selfish wish, they know why he is abandoning them, and accept whatever happens. The being they are obviously talking about is Akira Toriyama himself.
I love the idea of having more of the god lore in! But there's not really the epic conclusion Super gave us! Also maybe it's just me but Salama's portrayal here doesn't feel like he'd fit in the Dragonball mythos. Or rather his personality. The deathly seriousness contrasts heavily.
You’ll hear no complaints from me about bringing Zalama up. Tin Foil Hat gang for life. It’s a really strange system. Almost everyone is born and trained for their role. You get little choice in Kais and angels, all chosen from the same kinds of immortals. Only the destroyers start off as mortals and earn the right to godhood. They are then free to destroy any mortals they want to. They should be focusing on worlds that have either stagnated or threaten the Kais. But they don’t have to. You end up with softies like Sidra, or lazy cats like Champa, or someone who should have paid more attention like Rumshii. Since there is little difference in Kais, and practically none at all in angels, it’s the destroyers who really determine what each universe becomes. The right destroyer can also be seen as a savior who destroys evil when no one else can, thus using both hope and fear as a means to influence the populace (the other side of the coin which I can’t imagine Frieza ever flipping).
9:16 no, he doesn't punch it out of existence. he basiccally glide's through it, paying little attention to it. just as he's completely through the barrier, he glare's at G.P, without moving his head. he gives him an intimadating side eye. this, clearly demonstrate's that this new entity isn't merely the mortal saiyan warrior Son Goku. but not entirely Zalama either. he's something new. something interesting. GP: "what are you? who are you" ZG: "None of your concern, i'll deal with you once i deal with..." *he then looks up and sees the 2 Zeno's* "them?" 10:02 your writing continues from here. i don't feel the need to change it. overall a good story. the idea of the original Namekian/creator god inding his ticket out of the shadow realm through the explosive power of MUI Goku is cool. although, i kinda like the idea of Yamoshi using Goku's body as a host. ah well.
One of the ToP's best qualities is that it's never undermined. It's an arc hyped up since pretty much the beginning of Super and we were promised to see other universe. It would be in poor spirit to throw out all that work and creativity just to take a look at Zeno's rule. Zalama showing up to fight the GP is very much jumping the shark. Given DBS "ended" it does leave questions unanswered, but simply put you can't really make a story like this without a full arc or movie given to it anyways. DBS would have to be longer, not change its ending. We also can't expect such a story too soon. The longer angels and the GP stay on top, the longer the series can go on. The ToP already scaled everyone up to ridiculous degrees. The last thing it needed was even higher power levels.
...... Is it just me or has Goku never done a dragonfist in anything other than GT and a movie? Trying to think but I don't remember it in anything else. That'd be cool new finishing move for them to bring back.

Here's an idea for the ultimate anime crossover: Cell returns and not only defeats the Dragon Ball Gang, but also gains knowledge of other Shōnen Jump universes and how to access / travel through them. Cell then sets his newest goal into motion - to conquer new worlds… and destroy every anime hero across the Multiverse.
This is interesting because every universe had 3 deities. The Supreme Kai (the Creator God), the Destroyer God, and the Angel. As for the Omniverse, Zeno is the Destroyer God, and the Grand Priest is the Angel. So where's the Omniversal Creator God? But as a final note, I like it. Perhaps there could be more though. One of the things about the endings of a show is that you can look back and theorize how the beginning would be different if you took the rest of the series and the ending into account.
I feel like Goku would hate all of this, having power that was not his own... again, having no opponent stronger than him, etc. Not sure about a god finishing things for him again, like the Goku Black Arc.

Toriyama is washed up. I didn’t even bother with the manga, the Moro & Granolah arcs. There are fan fics way better than the canon right now. A good example is Dragon Ball Kakumei. That’s how a continuity should go on after the TOP and Broly. And of course our man Maseko’s whole channel is full of epicness, that’s why I’m here right now. Also Rising Fist’s stories which are more soulful, so if you wanna shed some tears, you could check them out, not to mention the drawing is pure art. And there’s also Carthu’s Dojo, which has a more realistic take on the what if’s, changing the consequences in the main storyline rather than creating a whole new story entirely. But yeah, these are my personal favorite channels. Thank God for RUclips
@@IamVLD777 I am familiar with Carthu's Dojo, but I've never heard of Rising Fist. I'll have to check him out. But as for Toriyama himself, yeah, he's not what he once did. No, not true. Toriyama still does have it. The Broly movie alone proves how good he can be when he puts enough effort in, he's just primarily been leaving the anime to Toei and the manga to Toyotaro. I'm gonna be frank with you. The Moro Saga to me was good for the most part. While there were some stupid writing decisions here and there, it was still a mostly fun ride (for me, anyway) for the entirety of it. It wasn't until the end of Vegeta's last fight with Moro that everything fell apart. That entire final battle between Goku and Moro is what nearly made me give up on the official canon until Granolah came along and renewed my interest. As for the Granolah arc itself? Premise and writing-wise, it's decent so far. The real reason I can't recommend it to someone like you is how Granolah got his strength. *Then again, if you been watching this channel for like the past several months, you probably already more than know.*
Could you do your version of your friend Suzie's kaioken style power up for Krillin and the other Z fighters. Also what about a what if exploring Tien's originals the rest of the 3 eye people
What if Zamasu was sealed in the Z-Sword and the Old Witch was never fused with the Old Kai and was the one to awaken Buu and was Roshi and Baba's ancestor

The way this story went reminded me of Yu Yu Hakusho and how Yusuke's ancestor took control of his body telling him "Here's what you could do"

The only addition I’d add is that restoring the status quo actually jump starts reality a bit. Not a total reboot but it reverts back to the end of Z like Goku had a dream.
Leading the way to progress a future story with all that Super (or even GT) introduced in a new series.
I tend to view the Namekians as an offshoot of the Shin-jin, in which case Zalama would be a bit farther removed from them than that.

I like both. But I do wish more was expanded on for the GP's seemingly sinister moments. I say have it end the same, but a new arc reveals that GP fully expected a selfish wish to be made, leading to Zeno wiping out reality. When that didn't happen, he had to rethink things. The other angels have varying degree of acceptance of GP's plan, but all do go along with it, except for eventually Whis and possibly Vados. GP then works to unleash the demon realm across the multiverse, leading to some Xenoverse-like moments. I would even like it if the Supreme Kai of Time intercepted Future Trunks and Future Mai to conscript them in the Time Patrol opposed to allowing two people to exist in the same time period.
Yea I 100% prefer this ending than the actual one.
What if Videl was half Sayian and her mother was Selypa?
There's some resemblance between the two in the face, especially when Videl has her hair cut.
Yeah I totally thought there would be some twist. But for some reason I just felt like by the end of the story Zeno and Future Zeno would still be sitting on their thrones.
Honestly, I firmly believe that Zalama (a.k.a. Zarama) should not have only one title (ex. Kaioshin, Supreme Kai of Time, G.o.D.) -- but since he created everything -- he should also seek to destroy. (However, I also personally believe that Zalama did not create evil, and it was only created by a lack of good from within an original fallen angel) He should also be almighty, foreknowing, and omnipresent (omnipresent in a countless amount of ways -- since he did indeed create the strings of the multiverse of Dragon Ball afterall)
I'm so here for this I can't wait to hear this

The Grand Priest should be removed from his role, and I honestly don't trust any of his children to take his place. Goku is going down the Angelic path, but he's too concerned with fighting to be a good caretaker. Now, if he convinced Gohan to take up god ki and pursuit of the Angelic powerset...
It would give Gohan much more purpose, other than a spare fighter when they need more runtime

Just finished watch the video. Really interesting ideas. I like em. Yeah i wish they would of expanded on Zalama a bit more. Perhaps theyre going to? i have no idea.
But i like the thought of Actions and Consequences. A bit more Z like would be good. Especially the art and animation style would be good..

Hmm. Interesting take, but I would have done four things different.
I would have tied Goku's initial reaction to Beerus (the instinctive dodge he did waaaaaay back in episode 5 when he was sparring in SSJ3) to this. Make it official that he was (on a very surface level) tapping into Ultra Instinct even back then, and that that brush with UI was what initially caught Zalama's attention. More than that, I'd establish the SSJG ritual as a Zalama thing, something he bestowed to the Saiyan race as a last resort if the divine hierarchy ever got out of whack. And in this manner, all of DBS would be one whole plot.
I'd have had a guest star appearance by the Supreme Kai of Time. One, to make her canonical. Two, to tie her existence to the presence of two Omni-Kings (not by making her responsible for Zamasu's actions specifically, but by making her the source of the Time Rings in the first place), since two Omni-Kings is one of the reasons why Zalama felt the need to come back. (And yes, the script would need a few passes for this part to play nice with everything else.)
The Kaioshins were originally fruits plucked from some kind of divine tree (I think; this was a piece of world-building from a while ago that never went everywhere). I'd have done something to bring that to fruition.
And finally (and this really ties into the first thing), I would have brought up the ancient evil that Bibidi fashioned into Majin Buu as the first example of the messed up divine hierarchy (and since Goku finally finished Buu off and wished for him to be brought back as a good person, maybe this was what initially drew Zalama's attention instead). And in so doing, tie DBZ to DBS.
Granted, some of this is going into rewriting DBS entirely, rather than just the ending.
I hope Zalama if he appears in the Super at some point will train Piccolo.
This is the ending we deserved. I wouldve loved seeing First Big Green resurrecting himself and for Papa Smurf to be put in his place
I think the only thing that would of been just slightly better is if plot twist Gohan heard him instead when in his ultimate form. Thus ending it like they wanted originally. With Gohan taking the reigns and showing his purpose.

You should combine this with the ending of "What if Frieza became a god of destruction, where becomes the one omni king. Imagine Zalama and Frieza remaking the world how it was supposed to be.
The question now is how would this effect the New Brolly, Morro and Cereal Arcs
Great idea, though I would of had the two Namekians from U6 agree to fuse into Piccolo, and that fusion eventually bringing out the creator.
I like in bringing lore into the dbs universe but I feel like it does takeaway that it was goku who achieved and earned ultra instinct instead been given and possessed by a god at the end but I love that end frieza and goku part it was epic especially showing goku not beating someone by himself
I think it would be interesting if DBZ went this route.
After the tournament ends GP and Zeno say that they aren't the most powerful beings.The King makes them look like specs of dust in the wind. The true King has recently been awakened from his slumber, but he isn't as active as he was before it.
They say the real reason for the tournament was trying to make him happy, as in the past he always said those tournaments on Earth in universe 7 were a favorite of his.
Say that they are afraid that the real God plans on abandoning them and appoint some other being to take over or worse, that his time is running short and they fear he and everything will be gone forever.
Have real fear on their faces during this conversation.
Either the tournament awakens his excitement or if the winner made a selfish wish, they know why he is abandoning them, and accept whatever happens.
The being they are obviously talking about is Akira Toriyama himself.
Very cool, makes sense, is compelling and leaves the door open for all sorts of bizarre story arcs.

I love the idea of having more of the god lore in! But there's not really the epic conclusion Super gave us! Also maybe it's just me but Salama's portrayal here doesn't feel like he'd fit in the Dragonball mythos. Or rather his personality. The deathly seriousness contrasts heavily.

It’s a really strange system. Almost everyone is born and trained for their role. You get little choice in Kais and angels, all chosen from the same kinds of immortals. Only the destroyers start off as mortals and earn the right to godhood. They are then free to destroy any mortals they want to. They should be focusing on worlds that have either stagnated or threaten the Kais. But they don’t have to. You end up with softies like Sidra, or lazy cats like Champa, or someone who should have paid more attention like Rumshii. Since there is little difference in Kais, and practically none at all in angels, it’s the destroyers who really determine what each universe becomes. The right destroyer can also be seen as a savior who destroys evil when no one else can, thus using both hope and fear as a means to influence the populace (the other side of the coin which I can’t imagine Frieza ever flipping).

9:16 no, he doesn't punch it out of existence. he basiccally glide's through it, paying little attention to it. just as he's completely through the barrier, he glare's at G.P, without moving his head. he gives him an intimadating side eye. this, clearly demonstrate's that this new entity isn't merely the mortal saiyan warrior Son Goku. but not entirely Zalama either. he's something new. something interesting.
GP: "what are you? who are you"
ZG: "None of your concern, i'll deal with you once i deal with..." *he then looks up and sees the 2 Zeno's* "them?"

overall a good story. the idea of the original Namekian/creator god inding his ticket out of the shadow realm through the explosive power of MUI Goku is cool. although, i kinda like the idea of Yamoshi using Goku's body as a host. ah well.

One of the ToP's best qualities is that it's never undermined. It's an arc hyped up since pretty much the beginning of Super and we were promised to see other universe. It would be in poor spirit to throw out all that work and creativity just to take a look at Zeno's rule. Zalama showing up to fight the GP is very much jumping the shark. Given DBS "ended" it does leave questions unanswered, but simply put you can't really make a story like this without a full arc or movie given to it anyways. DBS would have to be longer, not change its ending. We also can't expect such a story too soon. The longer angels and the GP stay on top, the longer the series can go on. The ToP already scaled everyone up to ridiculous degrees. The last thing it needed was even higher power levels.

I know it would be short but a 'What If' I'd love to see is What if Majin Buu Absorbed Babidi.

Cell returns and not only defeats the Dragon Ball Gang, but also gains knowledge of other Shōnen Jump universes and how to access / travel through them.

This is interesting because every universe had 3 deities. The Supreme Kai (the Creator God), the Destroyer God, and the Angel. As for the Omniverse, Zeno is the Destroyer God, and the Grand Priest is the Angel. So where's the Omniversal Creator God?
But as a final note, I like it. Perhaps there could be more though. One of the things about the endings of a show is that you can look back and theorize how the beginning would be different if you took the rest of the series and the ending into account.
I feel like Goku would hate all of this, having power that was not his own... again, having no opponent stronger than him, etc.
Not sure about a god finishing things for him again, like the Goku Black Arc.
Then that would be consequences. He'd have to face full life consequences.

Honestly, Masako, after hearing this, you're really making me question the current state of the canon's writing. Even more so now than I was before.
Toriyama is washed up. I didn’t even bother with the manga, the Moro & Granolah arcs. There are fan fics way better than the canon right now. A good example is Dragon Ball Kakumei. That’s how a continuity should go on after the TOP and Broly. And of course our man Maseko’s whole channel is full of epicness, that’s why I’m here right now. Also Rising Fist’s stories which are more soulful, so if you wanna shed some tears, you could check them out, not to mention the drawing is pure art. And there’s also Carthu’s Dojo, which has a more realistic take on the what if’s, changing the consequences in the main storyline rather than creating a whole new story entirely. But yeah, these are my personal favorite channels. Thank God for RUclips
@@IamVLD777 I am familiar with Carthu's Dojo, but I've never heard of Rising Fist. I'll have to check him out. But as for Toriyama himself, yeah, he's not what he once did. No, not true. Toriyama still does have it. The Broly movie alone proves how good he can be when he puts enough effort in, he's just primarily been leaving the anime to Toei and the manga to Toyotaro.
I'm gonna be frank with you. The Moro Saga to me was good for the most part. While there were some stupid writing decisions here and there, it was still a mostly fun ride (for me, anyway) for the entirety of it. It wasn't until the end of Vegeta's last fight with Moro that everything fell apart. That entire final battle between Goku and Moro is what nearly made me give up on the official canon until Granolah came along and renewed my interest. As for the Granolah arc itself? Premise and writing-wise, it's decent so far. The real reason I can't recommend it to someone like you is how Granolah got his strength. *Then again, if you been watching this channel for like the past several months, you probably already more than know.*
