Why must you torture these sweet, innocent boys?
Hello! Here is an explanation of the story in case anyone is interested because it really confused me at first: The grandmother that dies at the beginning of the film was the leader of a demonic cult that was worshipping Paimon, a demon king. To bring Paimon to this world, he needs a male body. Annie had a bad relationship with her mother because of her mother's strange behavior, which she didn't know was because of the demon cult, but kept her mother out of her life for a long time. Annie's father starved to death and her brother killed himself because of the mother trying to possess them with Paimon. Annie didn't let grandmother near Peter when he was little, but he would've been the ideal male vessel. Eventually, the grandmother made up with Annie in order to get closer to Charlie, and put Paimon inside of Charlie... but Charlie is a girl, so Paimon didn't inhabit the body well. Paimon wanted Peter's body-- a male body. Joan decieved Annie by pretending the seance was for her dead son, but it really was for Paimon, so Annie accidentally conjured Paimon. Paimon possesses the family members, including Peter himself (and the mom), to try to kill Peter so he can take his body. At the end, Peter kills himself and Paimon is able to take over Peter's body, and the cult is there to celebrate as they were watching the whole time.
Ok so when he fell in the end, he actually died?
@@anujpramanik1819yeah he died
@@dirgemage I don't think he did die. It says in the ritual that the male needs to be a 'healthy host', but their spirit needs to be broken for full possession to take place.
His spirit was broken after seeing his dead mother and father. But he was still alive even after jumping out the window.
His ass is bursting and he can't sleep 😂
😂😂😂 what a phrase
That was hilarious LMAO... What an expression.
This happens to me if it’s too spicy
@@antonb348 🤣
"she looks elder in age" LMFAO
Yooo this is probably the scariest theater experience I’ve ever had! Everyone was squirming in their seat and hiding their faces just like them 😅 these guys will have seen enough horror by Halloween to start the Scream series and get a lot of the jokes.
Let Mansoor know that the actress he was praising here is Toni Collette, who these guys have seen once before - she plays the mom in The Sixth Sense!
I'm proud of you guys for hanging in there! Remember, it's not real. ❤
😂👍🏼
14:23 YES. Toni Collette is an absolute powerhouse.
They saw her in the Sixth Sense but don't recognize her. Also crazy that she's Australian, don't even hear her accent, amazing actress.
Check out Toni Collette in "Muriel's Wedding". Something lighthearted and fun
You're terrible Muriel 😅
Lol I feel bad for recommending this dark film to you guys, cos I really didn't think you would go for it! But it's brave of yous, took to it like a trooper! 👍
Don't feel bad about recommending great movies
You should get them to watch "Talk to me". Great Australian horror by the same producer.
Yay more horror!!! And Toni Collette is such a great actress
Great horror film. I bet these kind fellas had no clue what they was in for when watching this 😅😂
The cinephiles might consider watching Night Of The Living Dead. It is one of the great horror films of all time; and since it is still in the public domain, the complete movie can be shown in a cinephile reaction video.
Y'all brave souls 😂 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is a hard one.
After this you need you them something lighthearted like A Knight's Tale
Nah, something more lighthearted than that, Midsommar.
"Hereditary" is a disturbing movie but you both held out until the end!
Maybe it's time for a not-scary movie. Have you seen "Inside Out" or "Turning Red"?
yes sure
Y’all might need a hug after this one
These gentlemen display empathy, compassion and open emotion. It’s appreciated with these hard movies.
The movie is one you may need to see twice to understand. There are signs of the paimon worship all throughout the movie that you can't see the first time through
Exactly! It's way too much to process Hereditary all in one go especially the cult stuff! The second viewing attempt really given us some extra clarity indeed.
It's true,I missed a few things the first time.
You guys are a joy to be an audience for. And trust me, even for a lot of horror fans this one's a rough one to get through. 😅
it is a tough watch for sure. It's not just scary, but straight up disturbing. There are few other films that can produce such unsettling discomfort like Hereditary. Its more than just jump scares and supernatural suspense, its also got some really heavy emotions. Overwhelming grief, guilt, and anger portrayed very realistically by a great cast.
Everything that happens to the family is orchestrated by the cult. The director has said a big question is which is sadder? That the family has no idea or that they couldn’t have stopped any of it even if they did know. It’s not an emotionally easy movie to watch. Kudos for watching it!
Never a truer word spoken. Toni Collette should have at least been in the running for the Oscar for this. But... The Academy, who knows what goes through their strange little brains 🙄
This movie is one of the scariest I've ever seen I thought it was scarier than the Exorcist.
Yes it's up there among the scariest movies ever made along with the Exorcist. Although I found Smile to be much scarier than this movie!
@@jettserUK17 Smile was really good.
Really? Didn't find it scary at all. Just a bit disturbing.
@@KatBats333 I LOVE Smile film even though I found it utterly terrifying. Indeed it has multiple interesting scenes which all are very disturbing. If these guys could get through Hereditary, surely this one at their peril! 😃
The admiration for Toni Collette reminds me that they should react to Knives Out! Should be a nice palate cleanser
yes!!
Charlie was named after her Uncle Charles, Annie's brother.
You’re laughing, his ass is bursting and you’re laughing
Bruh I watch a couple channels like this and it almost makes me sad when they watch these. Like they definitely don’t have any media this dark and disturbing this was messed with people’s minds who had been watching horror for decades.
That's why we're curious how they'd react. It's different for them, we're desensitized.
Yeah... it's dark. But no darker than the things we survive in our own lives. They can take it.
@@larindanomikos Yeah it’s a little presumptive to assume they *couldn’t have possibly* ever been aware of or been around something very dark and disturbing happening in real actual life 😅
Folk culture of theirs have similar horrific tales if not more horrific. Remember, most cultures have some kind of beliefs around these stuff..
@@fenixmacariuscornett1675Jesus dude obviously that’s not what I was saying. I’m not talking about their life experience I’m talking about the media they’ve been exposed to. Half the reason we are here is that very reason- they haven’t seen a lot of movies. Stop trying to make it weird I’m not belittling them at all. People who saw the exorcist got sick and ran out of the theater when it came out. Getting dropped into this without having seen many horror movies is even worse.
In the last 12 months these two gentlemen have become firm favourites of mine and long may this channel exist and go from strength to strength 😊👍🏻
Thank you so much for such warm wishes and love
Toni Collette is an excellent actress, but this movie was disturbing. 😱 I give the guys credit for making it all the way. They deserve an award 🏆or some kind of treat. 🍨 👍🏼 Great video, thanks!
I don't think Naveed and Mansoor have seen the original Point Break with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. I think they would enjoy that, especially after something like Hereditary!!
My first time watching, i couldnt get through it in one sitting. I watched a third, stopped for a few days, watched another third, stopped for a few more days, then finally decided to finish it. It was too disturbing for me to sit through the whole thing at once, so bravo for making it the whole way in one go.
You guys need to watch Midsommar!!
15:00 You guys are great friends, lol
Could they watch Night at the Museum. Do you do reactions to songs? 🙂
Oh boy 😅 this is a diabolical suggestion 😂😂
Oh no! Poor Naveed and Mansoor. This bloody film is the height of horror. You shouldn't watch it until you've watched every other horror film ever made and even then it's still too much🤣🤣🤣
I think after they've watched a horror film you should show them a nice happy animated film so poor Mansoor can sleep. That's what I do after I watch a horror❤

I snuck into the theaters to watch this underaged in highschool with my friend
Guys who run this channel need to give Naveed and Masoor a raise. This stressed this out!
For next horror movie, and you might want to take a break, I would suggest "Don't Breathe." It's also kind of a lot.
I didn't enjoy the movie as much as I enjoyed their reaction 😂😂 poor Mansoor freaking out ...
I feel so bad for these guys their gonna have nightmares 😢
The spirit of the demon king was 😟 n the beginning in Charlys Body, her grandmother and the other freaks make that.
But the demon need a male body that’s why she was sick and got allergies and all the stuff.
Midsommar next, please
They dont recognize Toni Collette from the mom in the sixth sense which they saw prevously. Maybe more of her movies.
9:05 I felt your reaction in my soul ❤
Lol you guys are funny. Try Ringu, its very scary
Yup... it's all just special effects cut together well. As they say, it's simply a movie.
They should watch Liquid Sky (1982) next.
Also they filmed this movie right around the corner of my house.
You should introduce them to Halloween (the holiday not the movie) 🎃✨
Oh no, I can't even watch this one. I'll watch you guys, though 🙂
Watch the grudge and the ring movies. They are the best horror movies.
They're to innocent for this type of movie next movie ice age or any good family type movie 😂this movie is intense toni Collette's cry's of anguish feel very real and hard to hear i hope i don't see another movie like this on they're chanel 😂 good job fella's for going through with this movie👏🏾💪🏾🇦🇺🙏🏾❤️
Omg. I really hated this film. Still give you my like and let the video playing, but I can't watch it again 🙈
Paimon is one of the chief angels of Hell and followers of Satan, a fallen Angel, a “djinn,” and his followers deceived Annie’s family with Paimon posing as departed spirits to feed off of their pain and use their bodies to enter our world
Djinn aren't fallen angels
@@elroddemelvinbone8058 some aren’t, they’re all what the govt now calls “interdimensional non human intelligence”
Show them Wishmaster, it's about a Djinn.
Oh dear... I feel sorry for you guys... this was a dark movie to watch, you did well... hope western movies like this don't desensitise you too much.
Silent Hill?
oh no
Next horror should be the Scream franchise. Considered horror/comedy.
I think it's time we introduce them to some Japanese horror.
😱👏🔥
Now watch Midsommar 😅
Boogie Night's next plz or American Beauty
American beauty is a great recommendation! I’ll second that! Haven’t seen Boogie Nights but I would still watch the reaction.
Pls react to The Raid Redemption & The Raid 2
Please watch Hacksaw Ridge - you’ll love it if you liked Saving Private Ryan
WHY was Naveed's reaction to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre taken down???
copyright issues
@@Cinephilesreact786
How STRANGE there are @ 23 reactions of Texas chainsaw
I wonder why NONE of them were copyrighted??? 🤔
Show them the Child's Play movies! XD
You guys should watch midsommar or talk to me
Haven't even seen it but yeh will see.
@@jettserUK17 you definitely should
NO!!!!!
@@LittleBlueOwl318 lol have you seen any of them? I'm sure you have based off of your reaction but I'm curious which one you watched
@@najhiahhall7080 Midsommar - it's horrific and disturbing on a whole 'nother level! I wish I'd never watched it. Some things you just can't UNSEE... Why do traumatized people wish to inflict the same onto others? It's quite sickening, really. You'd think it'd be the opposite, but society is no longer normal, I guess. A good ghost story is one thing, but nonchalantly "normalizing" depravity isn't making the world a better place. JS
lol please don’t do this to these guys again. The MUST watch The Hobbit!!!
Only the original, the exorcist, is better.
Now watch Exorcist 3 and you'll have watched the three best horror movies, in my opinion.
I’ve never heard of this movie so it’s hard to follow along. Next
Yea it's a little complicated to understand, but if you watch it again it makes a lot of sense! It's a pretty underrated horror film!
@@jettserUK17 Has nothing to do with complexity. It’s chopped up during their review
Horror movies have ruined much of north america, these things aren't needed to be seen.
Reality is much darker. They can take it.
These ghost movies are getting preposterous. I'm an old school horror fan... these weird artsy "horror" movies that have to be interpreted are way too popular.. give me a masked maniac with a machete any day over this crap.
I prefer a disturbing story than a horror story who only gives shock factors and senseless gore. This type is boring and common. Hereditary is one of a kind.
This just in: Toni collete is observably a star across countries for her performance and zero recognition from America 😂 the academy hates horrors with a passion lol
Oh my dog I can't believe they showed this to you guys.
It's my fault I think whoops! But some of us do like a good horror every now and again to give us the jitters! But they were amazingly focused and understood the complex dynamics, I'm impressed!
