There's other even more likely reasons for flow ball fluctuations - and I can't recall ever having flow ball fluctuations that were result of the 4 way valve alone. The most common cause being leaking oxygen or compressor tubing/connections or a worn out compressor....and most likely at the two flometer connection barbs. As for any 4 way valve issues, the concentrator will shut itself down if it cannot achieve and maintain percentage oxygen purity at 5LPM. THAT will point to the 4 way valve as being a culprit....but listening to how clean each of the two valve cucles shift will instantly tell you if said valve is bad. In addition, the valve can be rebuilt for a fraction of tje cost of a new valve...but must be done correctly. Holla if you need info to what I just laid down.
Me replaced oxygen sieves after 5 yrs use...but still low percentage....i did measure low voltage on solenoid valve ( 10v instead of rated 12v) as potential cause...but also as you mentioned at end compressors ouput could be a cause.....but if no fluctuation of ball..

It beeps after it has been running for maybe 15 minutes. A series of three short beeps and the no breath with bell symbol. That is supposed to happen after two minutes of not breathing. Is there another reason this might happen? Thanks

My dad’s oxygen concsntratoe beep and the ball gets stuck to 1.5L. I tried to play with the dial and adter waiting for a few seconds it shoots up to 5L and that i was able to adjust it again (ball moves when i turn the dial). But today the ball is stuck again to 1.5L. I tried to play with the dial but this time it wont bulge its still stuck. Please help. We are on lockdown now due to the virus.
Screws into plastic -- No power drivers ever! Too much risk of plastic damage & stripping them out, no matter what your clutch setting is. Hand screwdriver only!

Most likely blown compressor, but may be the 4-way valve.
