Hi Patrick, thanks for sharing your knowledge. My concentrator after 15 minutes shows a red LED and a beep. I read that the alert is due to low oxygen levels. What could be done in this case?
hi Patrick, i realize this is an old post and i hope that you monitoring it. i take it you are a technician in this field ? i viewed all your videos regarding the everflow concentrator. always great when people share their knowledge. what i need to know is how many events can cause the warning lights and beeper to turn on and stay on. i was asked by a wild bird rescue organization if i could try to fix this issue as this machine is greatly needed to help keep sick or injured birds alive while they are treated. the only video that mentions one possibility was due to a air leak, but could there be other problems ??? any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have been looking for someone to fix my dads. We can’t get anyone to come where I live because it so far out 😂 I changed both filters and vacuumed dust. I noticed the tubes are yellow and where the air is first pulled in to the bacteria filter it is almost like yellow sap. I’m assuming I should replace those tubes. But is there anything you can tell me to help me diagnose the problem? The red light and alarm are continuous.
What do you do to refurbish an Everflo with OPI to leave it good as new? Do you fix anything, change parts or you just change filters and zeolite minerals?
If the opi is working and it doesn't alarm It should be putting out over 90% If the ball is floating up-and-dow usually the solenoid valves If the opioid light comes on after you change the filters probably needed probably needs new sieve beds I always put it on an analyzer to make sure the purity is the purity is good
I own an EverFlo and am having troubles. The yellow light is on steady and the red light blinks intermittently along with intermittent beeps indicating poor oxygen supply. It is set at 3 LPM and I have checked at the canula and I am receiving 3 LPM at that point. Have run machine with tubing removed and filter removed so there are no restrictions and still get the alarm. Any idea what this could be? I will be happy to buy the parts from you if you can give me an idea what is causing this. I Thank You in advance.

Mine smells like it is burning after an hour or so of operation. Is this normal? The outside of the device, along with the power cord, doesn’t give off any heat. No alarms either. Thank you!

We have a problem. The alarm and red light come on exactly at 10 minutes. We are from Venezuela and there are no spare parts here. What can we do? Please help me
Ditch the stupid music! You are not talking directly into the microphone and the music is overpowering your voice. People should learn about sound and acoustics before simply turning on a camera!
Why in gods name does this guy think that air comes in from the top and out the bottom when heat rises...so automaticaly you'll know heat building up inside would be forced out the top and cool air in from bottom...main reason why there are filters in the bottom grill area and not the top...but i could be wrong and heat does fall....(sikes) nice cleanup btw
Fan takes the fresh air from the top and blows it through compressor and gets out from the bottom. There is a dust filter in front of the top grill. There is no filter in the bottom because no need for that. And one a plastic (gray) filter where the compressor takes air in.

Thanx 4this info. Does it have HEPA filter? Invacare does which makes me lil not sure which one to buy. Any ideas?

Good luck The last ones always had clear plastic ones. The one I have now is gray plastic....so you can't see it.

Try opening it an vacuuming the dust.
It happens for new machines, it will be gone after 3 days of use.
So I cleaned it out and. Some how one of the power plugs for the power cord came undone and I do not know where it goes back in

When you pull off the tubing does it go to the top
Usually that's caused by a blockage in the tubing pull off the tubing if the ball goes to the top replace the tubing and cannula
If you pull off the tubing and the ball still doesn't move it could be a cracked flow tube or something disconnected inside behind the flow tube
