The only time I've ever seen a Schecter have issues, is from a big box store *cough guitar center cough* I have 8 and honestly have never had a QC issue. Sent one guitar back just because I was picky about what grain in the wood I wanted 😂 I wouldn't blame Schecter on this either. It's who you got it from, and I honestly would highly recommend you get a NEW Higher end Schecter. Like a Keith Merrow Model.

This isnt an insult at all but this shit makes me feel so inadequate lmao an 800 dollar guitar is nowhere near cheap to me (yes ik its not expensive as far as guitars go but i figured i was out of the cheap starter guitar range) and now i feel broke again 💀

What ever factory that came from is inferior to where my schecter and Dean guitars came from, it's world 🌎 factory Indonesia. I would be very surprised to see if yours is from the same factory. Does the serial number start with "W" !?
I don’t remember what the serial number was, but pretty sure the same factory. My personal experience is that it’s hit or miss with Indonesian guitars. I’ve got one I’ve had zero problems and one that’s had several problems.

I bought 3 schecters this past year. All needed fret leveling. Kept 1 and did it myself, but sent the other 2 back. Overall I'm not a fan, sadly.
