Jamie Grace is an American Contemporary Christian musician, singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress from Atlanta, Georgia. When she was 11 years old she was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome, a life altering disease that affects the nervous system. Her story is powerful and very encouraging. It's her Ransom Note.

I am 49 years old which is probably the age of your dad, but God has used a simple, sincere, young person like yourself to remind an oldie like me to rely on him fully. I have a 17 year old son who has bipolar disorder. This has been the greatest challenge ever for my wife and I. Your music and life story brings tremendous hope. Wish I could meet your mom and dad to hear their stories. I pray that God continues to give you grace, mercy and wisdom as you do your thing.

Whoa. I did not know all that. When I started listening to her and she sang in her songs, " Maybe I'm just hoping for something different than I have now ", I always thought, I would do anything to be a singer, a rapper, and famous, but now I think, *Her life wasn't as easy as I thought it was*. I got adopted in 2019 and was in foster care since I was 4. My biological mother looks like Jamie Grace and when I told her about her she loved her songs. Now when I sing Jamie Grace's songs I feel something, God's presence. I love you Jamie Grace! Am praying for everyone I know, don't know, and will know.🙏 God Bless!
You have a gift...............my mother is lying in a bed in my house dying of cancer, but I can listen to your songs and I am reminded of the JOY that the Lord provides. Thank you Jamie for sharing your beautiful voice.

Thank you Jamie Grace for your testimony I have been deeply touched by it and so was my daughter who really enjoys listening to your songs. Its also true that we will have to endure a rough time at times but He will always bring us through it. What a blessing to have a loving family. Keep up the music because in this house we sure enjoy it!
Look at what God can do with what we give to Him. When we give Him ALL of ourselves including our limitations, shortcomings, physical challenges He can and will do amazing things in and through us. He continues to amaze me through people like Jamie Grace.

OMGoodness, the story just truly touched my heart, I dropped tears. I was diagnosed with Narcoelpsy, ADD, Bipolar, and a learning Disaiblty. God has been so tremdouse to me. I love to sing and praise God and show him how much I appreciate the protection, love and mercy even when I was messing up. I am a witness God is very real and he has and always will be in my life. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

seriously started crying at the end. I've been going through a rough time with a close family member feeling a few of the things Jamie described and I can't say enough how much that verse meant to me when I heard her say it. Last night was really rough on us, BUT "Joy comes in the morning" and it really did! Thank you, Jamie Grace for your testimony and willingness to share it and your beautiful voice!

I have watched this several times but it has new meaning now that I'm teaching middle school students. This is going to be my morning devotion with my students Tuesday morning. I hope it opens their eyes to how God calls us to see ourselves and others.

I love that videos such as these are shared worldwide via youtube. It's so encouraging to remember that our focus is to be placed on God. When we take our focus off of God, then we focus on ourselves and lose perspective. We are not living for ourselves we are living for an awesome God. We need to trust in God so that we don't have to worry or feel "less" or "different" in a bad way. Rather, we should feel privileged as Jamie Grace stated and more than that we SHOULD feel different but in a good way. Praise God!!! May the Lord give us success in all of our endeavors in this new year 2015.

A year or so ago, my child was diagnosed with TS. He thought that he was the only kid in the world that had it. He was kinda down and out about it...Then he saw u on i-shine (or some other tv show) and he yells out.. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH TS!! WOOO HOOO! You totally changed my kid's life. Thanks!

Jamie Grace is awesome, that's so awesome that she can just put it past her and follow her dreams anyway. I have TMJ (my jaw locks up all the time and clicks when i open it very far) and its a struggle. But it helps to see a time where with God you can get passed anything holding you think will hold you back!

Wow I actually was expecting to listen to one of her songs but this was a very moving story seeing how I grew up in a similar situation even though I was autistic but still. God and Jesus were my only friends in all of it and the only ones who fully understood. They gave me great friends who understood that I was like this and through Christianity was able to overcome and accept this flaw.

I would love to share my story. People use to say I should not talk about, but I would be using it as a crutch. As I got older, and my relationship with God became stronger. He began placing me in a position where I end up counseling someone, that goes through what I go through and they are not coping to well. I don't take medication. I pray to God and said "Ok Lord you deemed fit that you made me strong enough to be able to handle this, so now I need you to teach me". And that is what he did.
You are an amazing woman and you are very inspirational Jamie Grace. This is such a lovely way to tell others about things that have happened in your life. You are so beautiful.

Simply beautiful and encouraging testimony!!! It's just feels you up with love and gratitude thinking about what Jesus has and is doing for people all over. Jesus Christ is such an example to us of how we should treat each other (Philippians 2:5, 1 Corinthians 11:1). Healing, freedom and love is found in HIM. What an awesome God that cares about us!! Keep God first - John 3:16, John 3:17, John 14:6, Romans 10:9. God's love and blessings!!!
Very insightful, Ms. Jamie. I once heard a preacher tell a story about a severely handicapped child. The Lord looked high and low for the right family to take care of this kid.

I think you're gorgeous inside and out and your story made me cry as I can relate to sometimes feeling like God doesn't want me as much as others based on how other people have treated me. In my case, the cause of my angst has been my family, but I have a church family. Your song "Come to Me" is my favorite in times when I need comfort and peace.
