I'll tell you what happened to this Ummah. Gossip, backbiting, judgements, nit picking about this is in not sunnah when you say Jumaa Mubarak to a brother. Stuff like that. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: 1) A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. 2) It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. 3) But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for air. The solution is to revert back to the teachings of the holy Ahl bait (as). What did the ummah expect when the majority disobeyed the holy prophet's (pbuh) warning: "I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. I remind you of Allah in regard to the second of the two weighty things: Ahlul Bayt (the people of my house)." Sahih Muslim, the hadith of the two weighty things (Hadith al-Thaqalayn)
We, the Muslims, have become very insignificant because we are not united as one Uma, our downfall began when we failed to adhere to our Holy Prophet's declaration of Hazrat Murtaza Ali as his successor at Ghdeer Al Khum and once again He said that I leave with you two things The Holy Q'ran and his Ahal Beit together with his Progeny. We won in many battles because Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and the sahaba were with us. But now, we lose the battle. Palestine suffered so much nearly a century. Gossip, backbiting, judgements, nit picking about this is in not sunnah when you say Jumaa Mubarak to a brother. Stuff like that. We're all afraid to talk to each other because everyone has something to say about our faith on trivial things such as beard length and hijab style.
You know what else isn't sunnah? Using whatsapp, using a car and polluting everywhere we go, doing our business in fresh water. The list goes on.

The solution is to revert back to the teachings of the holy Ahl bait (as). What did the ummah expect when the majority disobeyed the holy prophet's (pbuh) warning:
"I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. I remind you of Allah in regard to the second of the two weighty things: Ahlul Bayt (the people of my house)."
