My ancestry is Spanish and Maya (Native American) and used to hear old stories of the Maya that said that we should never visit the old ruins, because they have a curse on them, due to what the people did there. Also I know the Egyptians as well used to have this same notion. It’s only when the new Europeans came to power that they wanted to dig up and explore these places and all they ever found was shirk, statues and idols.
No true about Egypt. It was always a place of visit . Tourism to old monuments have been recorded along the years. While in some cultures you shouldn't visit graves and ruins to not disturb the souls, this isn't the case everywhere

I think it’s more logical that the Prophet prohibits going to such places not because Muslims will lose their faith but because where Allah has sent down punishment there are negative energies and no one should go to these places so negative energies will not harm them.

Great Video, but I am not sure about the ozon layer part, the reason for its occurrence is about a refrigerant used before, at least for now it has been proven by science. The place of ozon hole I knew was on top of Antarktika and rather large area. Even if this hole is in Saudi, I do not know any connection between these two, neither in Islamic literatures nor in scientific articles

Saudi turn this location into Resort. Out of all people Saudi's should know better. It is one thing if you don't know but if you know and do it then it is call arrogance. Looks like history will repeat itself. If Prophet said not to visit then I will not visit as a precaution. We are servant of God and if God's prophet warn us then we need to heed his warning. May Allah guide us and keep all of us on straight path. Shaytan is doing a number on people all because they want to make money which they will leave behind.
Accoridng to ulema this prohibition also applies to other places where the wrath of Allah has manifested, for there is destructive energy in those places, not blessings.

I am teaching them english, its just the matter that they are 3 and 5 years old and not that good in understanding english language as they understand Urdu. And there is this nuisance that urdu is dead language and should be removed from the constitution so it would be better to get support from our younger ones to preserve and protect our religion and our culture in every aspect.

Let me tell you a scenario of my kid's school about a couple of weeks back. On the occasion of inaugural ceremony of ram temple in Ayodhya, school has arranged the special screening and kids have been taken to cities ram temple to offer prayer, which Muslim parents were unaware of. When my kids came back from school they informed me, When I heard this I was shocked. So next day I went to their school and had a thourgh talk with school authorities and made them clear to keep my childrens out of such things.
There is an Urdu proverb which states that "Bachche gili mitti ki tarha hote hai unhe jis tarha ke dhanche me dhalo woh bade hoke us hi tarha ka chahra lete hain"
Yes I am afraid of Allah's judgement if I fail in any aspect of my parenting my kids would bare the consequences.
And one more thing the language we speak in our country is a hybrid version of multiple languages which isn't urdu or hindi.
Now I ask you if I am wrong to be worry.
