Yes but as Ian explains they've built a concourse for the northbound platform from what was the old southbound platform and tracks, and built new links through between that and the platform. It's not an ideal solution to the problem but better a decent compromise than no change to the old situation.

@@PeterGaunt I totally agree, all I meant was on as aesthetic level, just some new flooring and tunnel cladding would do it.
