The clock is controlled by receiving GPS timing signals, so it automatically adjusts to the correct time, as it is doing here after being plugged into the mains for the first time.

On the last Sunday in January, for over 50 years, over 200 members of the English Civil War Society have marched through central London in memory of the regicide of King Charles I. The muster takes place from 10:30am, and the march along the Mall is at 11:30am and is free to watch.

I'm from Tilbury, used Riverside station many many times, and used Tilbury ferry to Gravesend most weekends. What exactly is a 'cultural centre'??? There are barely any White or English people left in Tilbury, today... so, this is something for immigrants benefit, is it? Why was nothing like this done whilst it was 99% English people living there?

Why isnt this a normal thing?
It should be really, it would ease a lot of the congestion to croydon during rush hour from thameslink/southern trains going out of london which tend to be packed due to local commuters having to use them
You could also have a London Overground service from Clapham Junction to London Bridge via Denmark Hill

A new service perhaps or was it used because of engineering works. I wonder if Geoff Marshall would have seen that.
I have travelled by train , bus ( no. 370) and Ferry( to Gravesend )from there as a child and love the old victorian building . The cruise terminal is right next door and is where many liners arrived and departed in days gone by, including the Empire Windrush. The ferry still runs 6 days a week for shopping, commuting, and day trips to Gravesend .

Would need to be shipped as they aren't designed for the high speeds needed to use the Channel Tunnel

Reminds me of an airport I’ve been to with the moving walkway. Nice to see the new Southbound platform on the Northern Line being built to make the concourse lot more spacious and less overcrowded.

Lucky Piccadilly Line getting new tube trains. Hopefully Bakerloo Line will also be getting new tube trains. Looks really nice.
Last I heard, these trains are intended for the Piccadilly, Bakerloo, Central and W&C. They are only going to the Piccadilly first because of its status as an Airport Link.
Bit of an unfair test. That track is just one long loop, no super curvy bits in succession, and it's squeaky clean and perfectly level. Will be a whole different ball game when it's on the actual Piccadilly line tracks!
That's why they're going to be tested on the actual LU in the future
Shame miss the 1973 stock when those hard to bare trains arrive, those hard seats again with seat deviders and door buzzers.
I think everyone will miss the old trains like me I have good memories of travelling on them.

Is that a fourth rail track?
It's a track which features two kinds of third rail, top contact which the train is using, and bottom contact, which is less commonly used, but looks like the kind of third rail used by the Berlin S-Bahn, likely for the testing of the Class 483 which was jointly built by Siemens and Stadler (Stadler has a factory in Berlin). Fourth Rail is likely too unusual to add to the test track for, especially if the trains can easily be adjusted to work between Fourth Rail and also 750V top contact third rail, which is common at least in parts of London.
Yes. The centre 4th rail is clearly visible in aerial shots on Geoff Marshall's vlog on these new trains.

Every subway station needs this. Too bad that doing that would be both difficult and expensive.
Love that chug-chug-chugging sound and the whistle. Steam whistles seem to me to have individual voices where as the diesel and electric all sound the same.
