Because they think they're in the right. I had a friend who was pulled over for a DUI and then arrested but she swore up and down that she was treated unfairly and that the cops abused her so she decided to fight it. Spent a few thousand on attorney fees and when she finally got ahold of the body cam footage, she had me watch it before her and tell her how it looked. And omg, it was so bad! She was belligerent, wouldn't listen to the officers and when she refused to cooperate she literally tried walking away from them to get back in her vehicle like she was gonna be able to just take off. They cuffed her, she was yelling and putting up a fight. It was embarrassing to watch and I told her she was wasting money since she was a thousand percent wrong on so many levels. But her memory was altered from the alcohol and she thought she was the victim. She had already paid so she continued with the case and unsurprisingly, she lost.

TV and movies make it look easy to knock someone out. Reality is a bit different....and administering a drug to someone comes with all sorts of liability. Unless the FDA authorizes something that works safely 99.9999% of the time, police won't adopt such an obvious solution to violent or obstructive persons.

@@Ontheroxxwithsalt - The Covid lockdowns are the reason the rate of homeschooling in the US has doubled. Parents actually were exposed to what their kids were being taught and it horrified many of them. Used to be, schools taught reading, writing, arithmetic, history, and other important subjects. They used to teach to the average student, thus the need for advanced classes for those brighter students. Now, they teach pronouns and leftist ideology. They indoctrinate kids with worthless social concepts from the far left. They teach to the lowest level of student causing those not bright enough for AP classes to suffer in a slow-paced, boring environment. Students that are not challenged tend to tune out and do much poorer. This shift to homeschooling is a positive thing. Until enough parents get involved and force schools to return to teaching actual knowledge subjects, and holding the kids accountable for learning, the public schools are not going to change, especially with many teachers being like this woman. Schools currently focus on the teachers. Standardized tests to measure success are actually to judge teachers and grant advancement or raises....so the teachers teach to the test instead of the actual subject knowledge. Teacher's Unions have no concern for students at all...they are about teachers only and push for less work, higher wages, and are often the source of pushing leftist social crap. They should all be removed from public schools. Public sector unions should be illegal.

I truly don't know how someone can drive a car and not know their tires are gone. I popped one, it literally felt and sounded like a plane was taking off and the steering wheel was jerking out of my hand. Whenever I see these videos, I wonder how exactly they expect this to end. Do they think screaming, swearing, and demanding they let her go actually works on cops?
When she said she was going to tell all her friends that all of the cops were a-holes. Did she think that saying it was going to have them stop?

i'm at 17:00 and the fact that she was allowed to scream for that long without being pepper sprayed shows the unending patience and kindness of these officers. i hope it changes.

I worked at a mental hospital and we had people like this admitted daily. Imagine doing shifts every day looking after 10 of these on the ward. I'm so glad I left

I was speaking to an ex police officer and he was saying that it's the handcuffs that often send them over the edge. He said you can have the most normal, compliant person until the handcuffs go on. It must be a vulnerability thing, as well of course, if there is alcohol and / or substances.

What an absolute nightmare of a person. How someone can think that they can just scream their way out of a situation is beyond me.
I had to restrain kids at a day treatment center. It was a crazy job. I learned to be calm as shit even when I get a pile of spit or bitten, so it was a great experience. I saw this all the time. I call it hulking out. It's when someone has gone their whole life doing whatever they want, and all of a sudden someone is going to restrain you and drag you to a place to calm down so you don't hurt yourself or others.
Yep. She probably just quit doing anything that felt a little too stressful and they just let her quit as well. The result is this. The tiniest bit of stress or push back is the end of the world.
You're allowed to do that in a day care?? Restrain the kids?! You'd be sued into oblivion where I'm from, if you even thought about that. You can send them to a time out place , but in no way restrain them or anything.
@@koppsra day treatment center isn’t a regular day care. A day treatment center has kids who are mentally, emotionally not able to be without care or someone watching them 24/7. Juvenile detention type of thing
My Grandma worked at a place called the farm home. It was a place that troubled kids had to go to. (It went thru multiple phases) It started helping kids with troubled homes, gave them a safe place, built life skills and got them into their own places. My Grandma had to be trained & do physical restraints back when it was a facility for troubled violent teens. I bet it's a tricky thing to balance.. *this video tho, I don't understand how these people have these absurd tantrums in situations that are soooo unbelievably out of place... At least places like you worked at it makes sense for a little something to occur given the circumstances... Still think this lady takes the cake god the screaming!
