- After three nights on the tranquil shores of Cham Islands, it was time to bid farewell to its serene beauty and set sail for new horizons. Join me as I embark on a journey from island paradise to the bustling streets of Da Nang, Vietnam.
Boarding a speedboat bound for the mainland, I bid adieu to the pristine shores of Cham Islands and embraced the exhilarating ride back to reality. Upon reaching Hoi An, I paused for a rejuvenating coffee break, pondering my next move amidst the city's lively atmosphere.
Opting for an adventurous twist, I decided to hop on a Grab Taxi Bike for a direct journey to Da Nang, foregoing the conventional local bus route for a more exhilarating ride. As the wind tousled my hair and the vibrant scenery whizzed by, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement for the adventures that lay ahead.
Arriving in Da Nang, I wasted no time in immersing myself in the city's dynamic ambiance, venturing out to explore its bustling streets and vibrant neighborhoods. From bustling markets to ancient pagodas, each corner revealed a glimpse of Da Nang's rich tapestry of culture and heritage, leaving me captivated by its allure.

Nice one mate, Da Nang is a lovely place to chill out both on the beach and in the restaurants in the evening. I would recommend the night seafood markets and a visit to the giant Buddha statues as you head along the Hoàng Sa road to the north.
That was a restaurant on the river. I spent a February 2024 based in DN, such a great city. Great spot to embark to other cities in VN.
Da Nang was one on my favourite cities on my travels. Loved it :)

There are ATMs closer to the Beach, but I'm guessing you might have been looking for one that had the least amount of fees.
A tiny bit North and much more South of the road that the Dragon Bridge is on near the Beach is where the Beach Bars / Restaurants are, and yes the prices are a bit more touristy, but that's where a bit more beach activity is. Looking forward to seeing what content you create. Enjoy, Stu!

@@olderbackpacker I'll be heading towards Thai consulate after an hour and also I'll apply for UAE and others visas by this week 🤝😃 feeling jiggly jiggly in my chest at the same time I'm thinking that it's better to make sure it's a budget trip so I can increase the duration so it's better to stick to phone and a gorilla pod not sure...... Can you share your thoughts and what you used?
