No. If you actually try to *_do_* what you describe in this video (which I note that you didn't), you will find it won't work. Even an adapter won't work. Yes, you may be able to cram a PCIE M2 card into an Asus UX31E using an adapter. But no, it won't work, because modern M2 cards are PCIE whereas the UX31E's SSD interface is SATA.

I'm sorry to inform you, but the adapter works just fine. You can install Windows, boot into the SSD with zero issues, and it's super fast. Our clients are happy with the upgrade and service. If I say something, it's because I have done the service for clients. It will look like this with the adapter:
