I'm back! Did you miss me?
It just gets too hot to record during the Summer! Between the heat itself and the additional heat from my studio lighting it is just unbearable. As you know, heat and yarn just do not play well together.
Although I took the Summer off from recording, I wasn't just sitting around eating Bon Bons - nope - I was designing like crazy. I have a TON of new stuff to share with you!
It has been interesting to me that most of the comments and questions I received over the summer had to do with Entrelac and Granny Squares. I seem to be attracting the newbies as well as those who want to learn more about Entrelac - WELCOME EVERYONE!
To start things back off today I am going to answer the question I have been getting most lately: "How do I calculate the number of Chains I need for a blanket?" Well, I don't know. That depends on so many things. But I sat down and thought it through and today's video is showing you the "Magic Formula" I came up with. It works every time and adjust for your own style. I also include a touch on filling in those gaps and corners when you are done...
So, I will generally be back to my normal schedule going forward of mostly posting each Sunday (I was excited to post this one, so it is going out today, a Friday).
