ooh interesting! I've working at this, but my instinct was to crochet kind of like fillet crochet, where i just work the triangle within the mesh rows (like, i just keep working up the rows straight to the top). i like seeing other ways to do it. i've been having SUCH a hard time with raffia, and my cats bit one strand and the whole yarn melted.....so i might just go back to cotton yarn because it's much easier, and nicer to touch in my opinion.

Are your reverse sides crisscrossed with lines of yarn like mine turned out to have? Or did I do something wrong when changing colors?

I just saw this, and realized I need to make this, but i need to make mine into a hanging one. That way, I can have easy access to my fav hooks, and I can easily put them back so I don't lose them. Thanks for this tutorial. Going to go make something similar!!

The 2 pompoms makers are used together to make 1 pompom. You will have to put them back to back and rollthe yarn around both and cut by the yarn in between the 2 makers 😊
