What I love about these fights is they show that sonic very much does know how to use chaos powers. This fight shows him manifest a busted form of chaos spear to literally impale the titan. I appreciate that base form sonic prefers to use his natural abilities over chaos powers, but when the situation calls for it he absolutely can whip out those moves in a big way.
Think about it If you at least watch most of the super sonic battles for previous sonic games most of them are just dodge obstacles, collect rings to buy time, chase down the target, and boost into the target's face the recent final bosses of the Wisp gameplay sonic are mostly that as in, Colors, Lost world, and Forces. I'm sure we're tired of some big boss running backwards while sonic chases him down on an infinite straight path. (yes, the games I mentioned had THIS format of gameplay. You'd think it's been copy pasted.) so after a decade of dealing with this, having combat seamlessly integrated into a game mostly focused on running... this a fresh new take! Hot take, the Titan battles makes the Egg Dragoon Werehog Battle look lame!!! and Unleashed had combat!!!

Personally my favorite is wyvern but knight is second, not a massive find your flame fan though, song is still good just dont like it as much as the other two for some reason

Oh, and from 1:08 to 1:24, you got the music to sync *_perfectly,_* especially with the downward kick at 1:23! I LOVED that!
In the battle, the said chaos spears were strongly empathized. Considering that Sonics opponent was a titanic swordsman it would seem convenient for the game developers to add them to the games battle mechanics regardless if it was intended to be a Shadow Easter egg or not. Either way, the spears were indeed a cool addition.

for those wondering how to avoid hitting his shield after a counter... after performing a few hits on the shield... (yes you will still hit the shield) press the right dodge/sidestep button to throw the attacks into his face you will skip the flying saucer sequence useful for the battle rush mode and overall saving your rings.
Dude, if the stuff Sonic has done as Super Sonic in this game didn't show how freaking powerful Super Sonic is before, that part right there certainly did. Launching him into the air and then doing that downward kick? They knew how to make Super Sonic badass in this game. I can't watch that, the kicking away of the sword at the end of the fight, and the wielding of the Knight's own sword against him to slice him in half, enough. It's just so good every time.

@Noah Garrity Naw these definitely need to be called something else. Someone on another video coined the name "Chaos Halberd" which sounds awesome but a halberd is usually an axe mounted at the end of a pole. I also like "Chaos Ranseur". Both names are great
Wow great graphics! Btw my Sonic was too OP during this fight and I beat Knight in no time, which is sad because I really wanted to see all the interactions... I usually play the first playthroughs in easy mode, but since I've already played a lot, I switched to medium before beating the game. I hope this makes Supreme more enjoyable. If not, at least there's The Final Horizon...
When you are hitting his shield with the basic combo, press the side-step button to get behind him. This also works on the red shield on the Ninja bosses and the basic soldiers.
Ugggghhhhh this fight was so annoying! During the first attempt, it K.Oed me, no joke, 3 times, due to how OBNOXIX the spike placements is, and how it keep combing me when I attempt to gain rings, and heck there's was this moment were it K.Oed me WHEN I STILL HAD RINGS LEFT! The fact that YOU don't get the satisfaction of getting the kill on this asshole for rather it's the Titan's sword that kills it just adds farther full to the fire! Seriously, fuck this boss with a burring passion! I just hope later bosses are not goanna be as asinine as this.....
Also For The Part Before You Climb Him, Right When You Spawn, Stomp, Jump, And HOLD PARRY, This Will Give You Maximum Height And Will Guarantee You Don't Het Hit By The First Few Set Of Spikes, Also, After He Slams His Hand On The Ground, Parry The Spikes. Also For The Boss Itself, It Isn't That Hard, I Beat It First Try, And That Was My First Boss I Beat First Try

I think this game really saved the franchise, especially with its plot, game mechanics and graphics. Definitely one of the best sonic games hands down

All of those animations are possible in vanilla.
