I noticed something on my most recent viewing of this movie. When Sonic speaks in his super form, not only does he sound serious but his voice is shaking like he’s struggling to control the power of the Chaos Emeralds from overtaking him. It’s a little thing but Ben Schwarz did a good job in conveying the struggle Sonic was having over his control.
I love how well the lyrics of open your heart go with eggman's assumption when he said :"I did some things you did somethings, there are good people on both sides" Then you hear: "you and I are the same in the way that, we have our own style that we won't change. Yours is filled with evil and mine is not."

Solaris Phase 2 and Super Sonic v.s Dark Gaia, are both the best fitting songs, it gives you a sense of hope, a dream, that you will win. It symbolizes Sonic, a speeding and chill hedgehog, into a serious yellow blur of light. When he's around, you know he's here to save the day.
I would say Seven Rings in Hand fits best, since Super Sonic basically portrays Sonic as having god-like powers. But my god, Open Your Heart takes the cake. Solaris Phase 2 with the little bit of “His World” is just incredible. The Unleashed and Colors soundtracks give me chills, especially when paired with scenes like this. Like I said, Open Your Heart fits slightly better than all of the others that I’ve mentioned.

I’d like to thank you Ryan 15:16 this track from forces final boss got me back into the series. I heard it in the sonic 1 movie videos that you did. I loved it so much I bought the game and beat just to hear it in game. I wasn’t a big fan of forces but I got into the franchise again. I got my younger brother to play the classics along with the 3d games. We both had some great times together. Days I’ll surely never forget.
I've managed to get my sister to play and beat forces and in frontiers she got to the point where she has to go up the waterfall now. She hated classic sonic stages and is probably never going to play any of the classics
Something that I noticed while Sonic was holding the bot’s foot up, the metal is melting. This man is casually melting metal with PURE AURA ALONE. They REALLY sold the sheer power of the Super form here and I love it.
Save live and learn for sonic 3, honestly you would think open your heart would work here, but surprisingly what I'm made of just works here, lyrics and timing.
I think in terms of fitting the scene the Sonic Colors theme works best. It starts with this uplifting buildup which fits Sonic lifting the foot perfectly, and it has lighter bits of music that perfectly work as backing music to the dialogue scenes. In terms of capping off the themes of the movie, the best theme is Live and Learn, since the whole movie is about Sonic learning and becoming more responsible.
That Sonic 06 medley was a perfect fit! I don't know why the movie's producers couldn't afford any Sonic game music to put in. It would have been perfect! The His World/Solaris Phase 2 orchestral buildup and main part would have truly felt like a true expression of the majesty that is Super Sonic.
I think these all fit the scene well, but if I had to rank them then here is what I'd do. 12: Sonic Unleashed Medley. 11: Open your heart. 10: Knight of the Wind. 9: Seven Rings in Hand. 8: Dr. Eggman Showdown. 7: Perfect Dark Gaia. 6: Live and Learn. 5: What I'm Made Of. 4: Death Egg Phase 3. 3: Solaris Phase 2. 2: Nega Wisp Phase 2. 1: Sonic 06 Medley. Everyone’s talking about how 06 fits perfectly, but no one’s mentioning how the Forces theme works SO WELL! Like how it hits the triumphant moment right when he begins to tear the Eggman Bot apart. And how the horns kick in again when he catches the fist. It just fits so well. And right when the music hits the high he taps the robot.

Everyone’s talking about how 06 fits perfectly, but no one’s mentioning how the Forces theme works SO WELL! Like how it hits the triumphant moment right when he begins to tear the Eggman Bot apart. And how the horns kick in again when he catches the fist. It just fits so well. And right when the music hits the high he taps the robot.

The 30th Anniversary Medleys 100% take the cake for me, especially the 06 one. The just perfect timing from every single moment of that song with the scene was just beyond perfect and honestly that would've made me cry if it actually played in the movie.
Open your heart, what i’m made of, solaris phase 2 and unleashed’s theme fits so well for this scene. I hope for the next movie they put on live and learn for when sonic and shadow fight the biolizard

Personally out of all the songs on here I think "What I'm Made Of" literally fits the entire mood of the both movies culminating to this point and the lyrics fit it so damn well.
I swear if open your heart was the actual music that was played here everyone in the Theater would be screaming
I’m excited to see what they do with the music of Sonic 3! Sonic games have such an amazing library of music, even outside of the super sonic themes, I’d love to see them utilize it a bit more!

I always felt like the Death Egg Phase 3 was lackluster in that " drop switch " ( the opening is the most chilling and epic shit i've heard in years ) but it works really well with this scene !

To me, Super Sonic vs Dark Gaia and the Sonic Colors final Boss theme are the PERFECT themes for Super Sonic, and I'm glad you added them to this video and the Unleashed Melody from the Sonic Sympthony surprisingly fit this theme as well.

Personally "What I'm Made Of" works best for me, because the movie gave me lots of Sonic Heroes vibes, especially with their fight against the death egg robot
