I think it can still run out eventually, it's just that not enough time had passed for it to happen, Super Sonic simply destroyed the Death Egg Robot easily, then had a bit of fun by making some chili dogs, then reverting to normal willingly. since Sonic 3 is going to be an adaptation of Adventure 2, when Super Sonic and Super Shadow use Chaos Control to stop the ARK impacting Earth, Shadow will have used up all his energy and revert to normal, causing him to plummet to his "Death", this is because it was Shadow's first time in a super form, while Sonic still had reserves due to his body being used to the super form. @@mlgamings6110

To be fair Ben Schwartz seems to be alot more familiar with voice acting and so has Chris Pratt for that matter. And even though Roger Craig smith improved ALOT with Frontiers I still think Ben Schwartz should replace him as the voice for the games.

Roger sucked as Sonic up until Frontiers where it finally seems like he was trying to put effort into it, but even with that he remains the worst one to have voiced Sonic in my opinion.

The moment I saw the emeralds I knew what was happening. My mouth silently kept going "no way no way no way" but my mind said otherwise. As the emeralds circled around rapidly over the Wachowski's presumed last moments, I knew it was going to happen. I see those glorious yellow quills I start literally evaporating and melting into my seat. This scene is cinema.
When I saw the emeralds I was silently goin "Holy shit yes!" and upon seeing Super Sonic, the entire theater bursted into cheers and I had tears of joy!
When I saw the scene right as the chaos emeralds came out of the master emerald my immediate thoughts were, he's gonna go super sonic, he's gonna go super sonic (goes super sonic) HE WENT SUPER SONIC!! I nearly lost myself in the theater when that happened.
Guys fun fact, there is a tiny little mistake in that scene, when the emeralds start to shake there is only 6 chaos emeralds instead of 7, the silver chaos emerald is missing
When you realize there has been a LOT of villains with High Intelligence, the only thing that makes them lose is taking their time, like how Eggman here didn't speed blitz sonic once he got the chaos emerald

Brought back memories of playing Sonic 2 on the Sega Megadrive after I had collected all of the Emeralds. Got to 50 rings and then wtf just happened! Sonic leapt Into the air with a roar and became golden.

I cried during this scene and the Mario/Luigi power star scene because it feels like, after decades of my parents never bothering to understand why I get so excited about these franchises, finally someone demonstrates that they understand.
When I saw this in theaters, the emeralds merged with Sonic & I didn’t know what the hell happened. (I grew up with the first 3 games for the Sega). So then, when Sonic’s quills turned gold, that’s when I yelled out “Yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhh! SUPER SONIC!!! ✊”
I am not kidding when I say that my second time watching this, my theater ROARED in excitement from the moment the chaos emeralds started floating. I will never get another experience like that again
@breadandcircuses8127 I've started calling this genre of movies reverse-isekai. 😂 Rather than the main human character getting transported to a fantastical fantasy universe and change the world order, they instead have a fantastical creature get transported to their world and spice up their ordinary, dreary everyday life. This is definitely the best one of that format I've seen. I'd say it's largely due to the fact that Sonic, as a character, has always been deeply immersed in pop culture and coming across as "hip," so the pop culture angle that these type of movies often painfully capitalize upon doesn't feel terribly out of character (i.e, Sonic in the first movie geeking out over Keanu Reeves in "Speed"). Instead, it all feels very authentic and like he's just having a blast being an overeager and reckless teenager, which is endearing to watch. ...Unlike the Smurfs, Alvin and the Chipmunks, etc. which are so grating and plastic it's just... ugh.
They have a lot they can do with Shadow in the next film. But seriously, like the ending of Adventure one at the beginning and then the rest of the film is Adventure 2. That would be the only acceptable plot for me lol. It really is good
I think they will only have one super-worthy boss, and while I'd love to see the biolizard vs sonic and shadow, Chaos is too iconic to skip and think it would be a great fight with sonic and shadow, despite being just sonic in the game.

Bruh I LOVE this movie. The end credits music that plays soon after this scene is awesome. A good movie needs a good end credits song and I think this movie nails it. It really sets the ending tone of the movie and leaves you in a feel good mood to walk away in.
Dr. Egg man is dead in this film so Jim Carry won’t come back to Sonic 3 because he retired from the last movie of Sonic the hedgehog 2. He will return until the Grinch 2 new movie.
I won’t underestimate Dr. Eggman. He’s still alive. Plus he the only main villain in the Sonic series. Besides, you can’t kill off Eggman. That’s like Mario killing off Bowser.
Sonic Movie 3 will be Super Sonic and Super Shadow defeating a CGI enemy (whether the Biolizard or Black Doom) in outer space! I hope they go into outer space given the two movies they're taking elements from.

When I saw this in theaters, the emeralds merged with Sonic & I didn’t know what the hell happened. (I grew up with the first 3 games for the Sega). So then, when Sonic’s quills turned gold, that’s when I yelled out “Yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhh! SUPER SONIC!!! ✊”

I was 39, wore a beanie and shirt of one of my favourite deathmetal bands, and didn't hold back yelling SUPER SONIC.
I really hope Jim Carrey comes back as Eggman for one last hurrah. You can't have a Sonic Adventure without the mean bean machine himself!

@breadandcircuses8127 I've started calling this genre of movies reverse-isekai. 😂 Rather than the main human character getting transported to a fantastical fantasy universe and change the world order, they instead have a fantastical creature get transported to their world and spice up their ordinary, dreary everyday life.
This is definitely the best one of that format I've seen. I'd say it's largely due to the fact that Sonic, as a character, has always been deeply immersed in pop culture and coming across as "hip," so the pop culture angle that these type of movies often painfully capitalize upon doesn't feel terribly out of character (i.e, Sonic in the first movie geeking out over Keanu Reeves in "Speed"). Instead, it all feels very authentic and like he's just having a blast being an overeager and reckless teenager, which is endearing to watch.
...Unlike the Smurfs, Alvin and the Chipmunks, etc. which are so grating and plastic it's just... ugh.

I think they will only have one super-worthy boss, and while I'd love to see the biolizard vs sonic and shadow, Chaos is too iconic to skip and think it would be a great fight with sonic and shadow, despite being just sonic in the game.

Bruh I LOVE this movie. The end credits music that plays soon after this scene is awesome. A good movie needs a good end credits song and I think this movie nails it. It really sets the ending tone of the movie and leaves you in a feel good mood to walk away in.

Sonic 2: The Knuckle Adventure is definitely my favorite 2022 movie. Maybe even better than the first movie.
