Hi, you can get wallpaper lining paper in DIY stores it’s a thick paper that goes on the wall before you put the decorative paper on. It’s very inexpensive about £2 a roll in the uk from B&Q stores

@@giuliettawebber6772 you could always do hand stitching. But I’m sure glue would work. Good luck with it x

Thanks for sharing your skills and know how. I've been toying with the idea of creating a family album and was wondering if I could use fabric paper. It would be great to make one that was as beautiful and made to last as your smaller books. Would you say it was possible? It would take a while, maybe I could do a few, possibly generational. I'm going to have to see it as a long term project! 😊 Thanks again!

      Hi Maggie
A bigger version of fabric paper book would be ideal for a photo book. If you look at my website or there is a RUclips video of it The Bayeux Tapestry. I shown a much larger version which I have stuck or sewn my Bayeux embroideries in. I have done it with the same technique as with the small one in this video just a lot larger.
I hope you get on with it well it’s a brilliant idea and ask me anything if you have any problems. Good luck 🤩

Thank you so much, it's very interesting and I want to give it a try. May I ask if the glass/acrylic board you have at your sewing machine self made or is it a product of Bernina?

Hi, the sewing machine in the background is a Bernina 1008 and the large table that fits it is a bernina product which I bought separately from the machine. It’s so big that I only use it in the studio, when I need to take the machine to workshops I just take the standard one that came with it. The larger table I think only fits the model 1008 as it’s no good for my other bernina machines. I hope that helps, enjoy having a go at the fabric paper x
