    Very mellow atmosphere. Love how you talked through all your decisions and options before you committed.
    Not only is the project serene, but our journey through your process was also serene.

    Being of this generations impatient behavior, I have to catch myself from racing thru a video while multitasking. I thought I knew where u were going and wanted to race thru and was so wrong! I think I need more of this type educational videos. I need to trust the village elders to teach me what I 'thought ' I knew. Even if I don't get anything else from watching u, I'll remember to slow down and enjoy the learning process. Thank you 😊

    I love your videos so much, you are pretty serene yourself! I enjoyed this one a lot, it reminded me of one of the most beautiful places I've ever been--the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, or BWCA, up on the northern border of the U.S. in Minnesota. I've camped up there where you get a campsite and you have to canoe in and you're the only group on that lake. I've heard loons at night on a lake there and it's such a beautiful, haunting sound, their call. And there is usually only one or a pair of them on a whole lake, so your picture is accurate. And the stars shine up there just like in your piece. There are so many more stars up there in the wilderness!
    I appreciate that you show the finished piece at the beginning, because then I always realize at the end how much more I can see in the piece after watching you stitch it! Suddenly there are all these stitches that I hadn't noticed at the beginning! By the end I have new eyes to see with because I've watched you place all those stitches (or most of them). That amazes me each time I watch.
    I really enjoyed seeing glimpse of your paintings, too, in this video! You are a multitalented artist! Maybe you'll show us some painting process videos sometime in the future? Just don't stop the stitching videos. Thank you so much for sharing!

      Thank you! That camping spot sounds wonderful. Hearing a loon call is beautiful and haunting. Thank you for your encouragement, maybe I will sneak in some painting videos too 😊

    Just discovered your channel!!!!!!! Sew fun!!!!!! I really like how you tell us exactly what size and kind of needle you use and the specific threads. I’m an experienced sew person but kinda new at slow stitching. I have TONS of different needles and threads but never can decide which ones to use….. so you are really helpful! Thank you!!!!!

    GORGEOUS!!! My color and environment!! The black edging at the bottom was genius. It makes it look like a boggy shoreline. So perfect in every way!! I wasn't sure at all about the black around the moon but it's not intrusive, it seems to work.

    Very beautiful. One tip that I’ve used to make sure tiny pieces don’t disintegrate is, I put it on interfacing to firm it up. Then I cut it out. You can still stitch through it if it isn’t to stiff of interfacing. Keeps the design nice and clean. Thanks for great videos!!!

    • @peaceofpi-studio
      @peaceofpi-studio  Год назад +1

      Great tip. Interfacing prevents fraying too. 😊🧵🪡
