    ABOUT US:
We are Chinaka and Emma; in 2019 we travelled around Australia in our 1999 ford transit van ( “We love Dogs” van) for 8 months. It was amazing to be able to wake up to new places as we traveled around the coast of Australia. We went to New Zealand for 2 weeks before making our way back to the UK in 2020. Two weeks after we arrived home, the first lockdown happened which changed our plans. Having caught the “vanlife” bug in Australia, we decided to embark on converting our new van, 2015 extra long wheel base high roof iveco daily (Unicorn).
We bought Unicorn on the 1st May 2020 and started converting it into a full-time camper and tiny home on wheels. It’s a bit of an upgrade from our previous van, but Unicorn is a much bigger project as we are starting from a blank canvas. This project will involve electrical, plumbing, gas, air systems, roof box with tilting solar panel and many more.
We planned to have moved into the van by November 2020 but with the whole lockdown and finding that things take a long time to get delivered, the date had to be moved to the middle of April 2021. Our van is currently liveable now but we are just adding a few extra finishing touches; if you follow our instagram you will see our current posts.
Follow along with us on our adventure as we create our home on wheels and travel around UK and (hopefully!) Europe.

I got the exact same bike yesterday but I got the guy in the shop to fit it all together! Had a trial run last night. Great! Using it to travel to work this morning. 😀

Just come across your channel great video I'm liking the orange bike great choice. These bike are so well built you can get cheaper versions but I think these are really strong and have a decent size battery. I have sub and looking forward to watching your other videos.

Not for the video, but we used the bikes and loved it. We don’t have them at the moment as we are now part time vanlifer and didn’t want them to just be kept in storage. If we ever have need for them we would buy them again no problem 😊

What made you buy the mirider rather than the cheaper version that looks identical ? It's half the price.

We bought them when it had the 5ah battery, it now comes with 7ah battery.
We choose them because we found out that having electric scooter was illegal in the UK and we also wanted to be able to do our shopping with them. We also wanted one that was very compact and be able to fit inside our campervan. We wanted to be able to have the warranty and also be able to contact the company in the Uk and have the issue resolved ASAP and mirider has that. I know it’s abit expensive, but if you look at those commuters bike that fold up and is branded the sell for £3k and mirider is electric and is half the price of that.
One of the bell broke in ours because of how the bikes are stored, we contacted mirider just to tell them and in no time we got another bell no questions Asked etc.
      Would I recommend them 1000%, would I buy it again 1million % 😁

what I meant was onebot make the same bike for £650. I watched your video to see if there was any difference as I'm also full time vanlife and am looking for a small electric bike for shops etc. Still you have them and nice video.

@@Roadshome I just checked it out at their website, it looks like the same bike to be honest, if you don’t mind not having someone here in the Uk to answer any questions you have or get your bike repaired soon then that’s ok you can go for one bot. I guess for us it was the first one we found and we loved it 😊
